I have had Otterbox in the past, but found them a bit large. So I switched to Lifeproof. It was very good, but when I saw this Otterbox I decided to try it. It is GREAT! It protects the phone very well, is quite good looking and reasonably priced when compared to other cases. I highly recommend it.

I love the Otter box for my S8, it's a little cumbersome but it's well made. I had my phone hanging on my pants belt and hooked it on my car door it pulled the phone off my belt but didn't break anything. I was shocked. Excellent investment

Pretty sleek for an Otterbox defender series. I like the color since it is different than what you usually see but isn't obnoxious. The screen does sit above the edge so I am getting a Zagg Invisible shield Hard screen protector for it.

I had purchased a bodygaurd cover and it wasn't worth the package it came in. Don't let the price tag scare you. The phone is very well protected and looks great. It has a raised edge to protect the screen as well.

Admittedly it is a little bulky, but considering the cost of the phone, it offers great protection. The big down side is when using my drone I must take it out of the case to use and I find that somewhat annoying.

Read the reviews on the Otter Box and like other reviewers, was disappointed that it does not have an all enclosed case as had been available for prior Samsung Galaxy phones. However, I can see how the curved screen on the Samsung S8 prohibits the ability to provide a screen cover that would be effective. Taking that into consideration, the Otter Box Defender provides a solid, reinforced back and sides which aren't found on other cases. The reinforced sides also allow the belt clip holder to catch in the notch built into the Otter Box side so that the clip catches the case, not the side edge of the screen as was apparent on other brands with belt clips. Highly recommend the Otter Box Defender for the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The Defender has a bit more substance to it than the Commuter. Seems like it will provide adequate protection. Does not have a screen protector and doubtful that one will work with it. Good tight fit.

Knew what I was getting as I have had several otterbox cases including defender series before. Best case you can get for protection in my opinion. Don't worry that there is no screen protector as the S8 screen is very scratchproof. Anything that would break the screen with this case on would most likely happen with a screen protector on anyway. It does add quite a bit of bulk and weight to the phone but makes it easier to handle without dropping.

The case looks great on a Coral Blue Best Buy S8. I think the case looks like it can provide protection for minor drops. Gives a good grip on the phone. I'm happy with it!

My family and I recently bought Galaxy S8s and we made sure to purchase these Otterbox cases the same day, especially since we opted out of the insurance/protection plan. The case is rugged, fits well, and encases the phone well, so I feel more confident, should something unexpected happen. The only con that I can think of is that I wish these came with a screen protector like the old Otterbox versions, but I was told that the curved screen makes it difficult for phone cases to come with screen protectors, so I just purchased the screen protector separately. Otherwise, I am happy with this purchase and I plan to purchase Otterbox again to protect my next phone.

I saw this item it was on sale and I love the color it's my fav.color. so I ordered it, arrived couple of days and it fits well. I recommend this product.

I like the otter box. It protects my phone well. the clip on is a little bulky so I don't use it. the phone just goes in my pocket and its protected fine.

I've been a loyal Otterbox customer for many years. I always have 5 smart phones on my account (2 adults, 3 children). To date, I've never had a damaged smart phone while it was encased with an Otterbox product. I have replaced 2 screens due to my children talking me into buying the cheaper "fun" colorful looking cases. After going through the expense of screen replcements, I now INSIST all phones come with Otterbox protection. With the cost of cellular phones constantly rising, I rest a little easier knowing that all 5 phones are being protected by Otterbox!

This case fit exactly as described. It protects my Samsung Galaxy S8. All buttons and wrap around screen are accessible. Will definitely recommend.

Got the case at approximately 50% off....doesn't add much bulk but makes the phone much more secure in my hand and gives it decent protection

This is my third Otter Box product that I have purchased. They have always been the best for my needs. To protect the phone and easy to use

The case is very sturdy but still light weight. Comes with a clip to attach but I use it without and it still fits great in my pocket.
