First off, it’s a very large case in terms of how wide it is. The back is a smooth plastic and scratches very easily. Went to the North Little Rock Best Buy, they had four, all were scratched. I realize that the back has to be made out of a smooth plastic in order for MagSafe to work, but you could pick out a better material that is a little more scratch resistant than this. In terms of protecting the device, I think it does a very good job at that. Next is the cost. This case is way too expensive for what it does. There are obviously cheaper options. While it is wide, it is not thick and the sides are rubberized providing just enough grip.

Very protective to the edge of the screen and sides also to the edge of the phones screen too. Very light weight and easy to handle too. Great produce for the price and it comes as one piece not two or three making it easier to put on too!!!

First off let me say, this is a great feeling and looking case, however, the functionality of this case is terrible. I bought it and put it on my phone, I was greatly impressed by the fit, look and feel of the case in the hand. Then two days later, disaster struck, I dropped my phone from about 1.5' from the ground! I picked the phone up and it was completely shattered on the backside! With that being said, I have had a defender series case for every phone that I've ever owned and never had anything like this happen. I'm greatly disappointed with Otterbox because I liked the case, however, it broke my phone from a 1.5' drop! So, quite frankly, I want a refund for this case because I spent $75 dollars on this case because it had the defender name with MagSafe compatibility but it only ended up costing me $106 more to get my phone fixed so now I'm out a total of $181 for a case that will never get used again because I'm too scared to use it!

This case is good. It seems to offer good protection but I don’t feel it’s quite as good as the otter box defender pro case I was using. While that case is on the bulky side I found it more comfortable to hold and it offered better protection for the camera. This case has minimal camera protection. But it does fit in my pockets better since it has less rubber protection that gets stuck on clothing. It didn’t come with a holster but does offer a code to order a free* holster which you must pay shipping for. Dot it’s not really free. This clips in my previous holster but isn’t fully compatible with this case it’s loose and while it hasn’t fallen out let with some of different movements I tried it’s a risk I am not willing to take. I went to order the holster that is for this case only to find out it’s on back order and contacting otter box cannot tell me when it will be available. This is mag safe compatible and it works well but I feel like there is likely a better case out there then this one. This version is black it’s pretty plain nothing flashy. The back is plastic and can scratch easily. This case was delivered with a blemish already on the back.

I bought the first defender series case for my iPhone 12 Pro Max and I liked it. But every now and then I would have issues wirelessly charging my iPhone. One day I noticed that my iPhone would stop and start charging. So I picked it up and it was noticeably warm, close to hot even through the otter box defender case. So I allowed my phone to cool. I disassembled the case and put my iPhone back on the wireless charger and it charged with no issues. That’s when I started looking for magsafe cases but wanted one with a belt clip. I was pleasantly surprised that otter box made magsafe products. I haven’t had any issues wirelessly charging my phone with this case. I can now use my Apple magsafe wireless charger, the wallet and any other magsafe accessory! I really like this one, its my favorite otterbox case next to the NFL otterbox commuter case made for the iPhone X back in 2017. Pros (1) It’s rugged (2) It’s sleek (3) It’s magsafe compatible! Received not new case with the scratches on the back.

Excellent case with good protection. Coupon inside allowed me to get a free hip holster that fit the new slimmer design. MagSafe adapter and MagSafe car mount both worked with the case. Case is hefty, but still allows the MagSafe to hold device even in bumpy car on windshield MagSafe mount. Very pleased

I always buy Otterbox cases because they are so safe! I got this one for a great price and I am so happy with it! It goes on easy and fits my iPhone 13 pro max perfectly! Very sleek and not bulky like some cases! Could not believe a few days later the price jumped up $50! Glad I got it when I did!

This case is really nice, I like the design change from the regular defender. Though I’m not crapping on the regular defender case because it’s great. I would say if you don’t mind giving up MagSafe to save like $20, then go with the regular defender case because it probably has better grip and protection.

I’ve been happy with Otterboxes in the past so decided to get this one for my new iPhone 12 Pro Max. Since it is a MagSafe case, I bought a round magnetic disc on Amazon and affixed a Popsocket to it. The magnetic disc sticks nice and strong and it is nice to be able to remove the Popsocket whenever I want without dealing with destroying the adhesive. With this magnetic disk/Popsocket combo I can use the Popsocket mount that is already in my car. This case gives a bit of much needed grip to the edges of the phone. Before I got the case the phone had slipped out of my hands a couple times. It is so slippery! The rubber only runs around the edges of the case while the backside is still a bit slippery. Wish the backside had some grip as well but this may be due to the MagSafe technology. The price of these cases is ridonculous but I bought it anyway.

Great case to protect your phone from everyday situations! Easy to install onto your phone and fits perfectly snugged on the phone frame. Not to thick of a phone case either. Pretty slim for a lot of protection.

This case is well built and provides good protection. At the same time, it is designed to allow use of the MagSafe features such as wireless charging. It is rather pricy.

I have two of these, as well as the belt clips. We have been using Otterbox Defender Pro’s for so long I can’t remember. The XT case itself is OK…It’s slimmer but still protects the Camera. The body is not as rubberized so it’s a bit slick. This might be a good choice if you pocket carry. My problem with the XT is the weakness of the Belt Clip grip. It offers no where close to the security of the Original. Since I always belt carry I’m unable to use the XT. But like I said, it’s OK for pocket carry or purse carry so I gave it to my daughter.

Works with iQ and Apple MagSafe chargers. Protects the phone well without making it too bulky. A bit pricey but good quality.

It is working well despite not having cover glass included for which I purchased another brand. In addition the back portion is solid plastic and slippery allowing the phone to slide all over which is not like my past otterbox defender! It seems the price went up but it is the complete product I had on past phones!

I have always been a fan of otter box products. Not always the sleekest cases but they offer great protection and are comfortable to use. I really like how they took the Defender case and slimmed it down to the size of a Commuter. My only complaint is that the back is too smooth and that it is a two piece case. Assembly is obvious but can be difficult to assemble.

This OtterBox is amazing. It is a necessary addition to the iPhone.
