Protective case with serious drawbacks

I don’t use an Apple Pencil, so I don’t use the pull-out holder built into the case. I have a 1st Generation iPad 11 inch and the power button on the case will not reach/activate the power button on the iPad. The volume buttons work just fine. The cover flap is great at folding closed over the iPad, but the magnet is very weak when it is folded over the back or used as a stand. One small bump knocks it down - sometimes the weight of the case is enough to make it give way. I am very disappointed in the case, especially considering the high price.

If you’re looking for a case that doubles as an easel, forget it. This scores a 20 on the scale of 1=it works and 10=it’s the most ridiculously, absolutely frustrating piece of %*}*} to try to use it as an easel. For the price, would it have killed Otterbox to add 2 cents of magnets so it really could be an easel?!?! Who tests these things before they go into production?! This is probably going back.

It started peeling away from the plastic body of the case. Pencil holder very flimsy and keeps falling off. Sometimes the pencil doesn’t sit flush and doesn’t charge.

The case like all of OtterBox cases is very well form fit to the product. Cons: the case only allows Apple Pencil to stick to side of the tablet. This leads to it easily falling off and potentially getting lost. Case could have benefited from a loop or clip or some place to secure the pencil inside of the case/cover.

The edge is streched out and hangs loose. No way to glue it back because it is some type of silicone material that doesn’t stick to glue. Bump!
