I knew this was the perfect slim case for my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge the moment I saw not only the design but also the slick blue/gray color combination. I have provided pictures of the case with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for those of you wondering what it looks like with the phone.

Another excellent product from Otterbox. I've had many products from Otterbox, but this is my first Galaxy Edge product so I was concerned about being happy with the level of protection while still being able to have access to the "edge" but it is really great. Definitely will purchase more Otterbox products for my Galaxy S7 Edge.

Very sturdy case. Color is very girlie, which is why I wanted it.

This is from my review I wrote on XDA Developers: Otterbox Symmetry: I've never owned an Otterbox before because I couldn't get over their clunky design that hindered the user experience. The Symmetry series is their thinnest least intrusive case from my understanding. Otterbox used a 2 material molded design which allowed the case to be 1 piece for ease of use. This design leads to the case having a different structure than your conventional hybrid which is usually a TPU/silicon bumper with a polycarbonate/acrylic back. Here the case has a hard plastic (not sure what type) back half with a high density silicon/TPU front half and core. The pictures below will show a better representation of what I'm referring to. Like many heavy duty cases this one doesn't provide a lot of grip for some absurd reason. Now, make no mistake this case is still quite large and clunky, but in a more mild mannered way than its bigger sibling the Commuter (or for some other phones the Defender). There is a subtle texture on the back that all Otterbox cases seem to feature, but as I mentioned don't expect a lot of grip from it. I enjoy the feel of this case, even its large size aside from a big downfall that I will talk about below. Ports: The micro USB port has no issues fitting cables from any of these manufacturers: Tronsmart, Choetech, Samsung, Nvidia, Motorola, Aukey, and Anker. If you have large & studio style headphones with a massive aux cable you won't be happy with the normal sized cutout for headphones, but it works fine with my Bose QC 20's, Freestyles, OE's, Samsung headphones, and some others I've tried. All microphone cutouts are also present. Since Otterbox is the so called "king" of rugged cases they have huge cutouts to match their reputation. I can see more accessories potentially working with this case due to the large openings which I appreciate. There is a little loss of rigidity on the bottom due to the number and size of the cutouts, but it shouldn't hinder the protection it provides. Volume/Power buttons: I still don't know why manufacturers especially big names like Otterbox can't make tactile feeling buttons! A lot of companies like Speck (their Candyshell), or even UAG seemed to have mastered this area despite not being as well known. I can't make excuses for the buttons on this case; they are so hard to press the whole side of the case physically moves a large amount just to press any of them. I was really looking forward to using this case when I go hiking due to its rugged nature in a slimmer profile, but not with buttons that need the Hulk to move. This one area is what will make or break a case, and it certainly ruined the case for me. I ended up returning it to BestBuy because I couldn't deal with this kind of disregard on a $45 case. Overall: 7/10 i truly enjoyed every part of this case, but the most important part of it was a letdown: the buttons. Otterbox knows how to make an excellent case, yet they don:t know what a tactile feeling button is, or how to even ensure they function easily. If you can get over that big drawback I see no reason not to buy this case because it was set to be one of my favorites alongside the Tech 21. This is a great "minimalist" case. The S7 Edge is large enough as it is so I didn't want a case that added a lot of size. This case fit the bill nicely. I have drop my phone on a few different occasions from no more that a few feet high on everything form concrete to carpet and haven't got so much as a scratch. It is easy to take on and off and has plenty of grip for using with one hand.

Perfect case. I was worried if cases could cover the edge of this phone, but it does it so well! it even is grooved at the top and bottom so you can place your phone screen down without worrying about scratches.

Love the color, also protects the phone when dropped without being super bulky. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that it makes it harder to push the buttons on the side of the phone.

I highly recommend this case for the S7 edge.. it was between this and the tech 21 case..it was a tough choice but I'm glad i went with the otterbox. Very slim profile and adds alot if protection..i have a screen protector on my phone aswell, it kinda gets in the way with it. Just on top and bottom..maybe because its a cheap amazon screen protector..still waiting for the zagg temper glass to come out. Over all i am very happy with case and also has alot of grip..

This item is a perfect, snug fit for the Samsung S7 Edge. The two tone color is visually appealing. Not a very bulky case, but substantial enough to protect in case of accidental drop.

The sales associate recommended this case as a replacement to my Defender case in which by the way Otter replaced that with brand new one 3 days after reporting it had broke. Anyways this case is super for the galaxy S7 Edge. It is not bulky and holds has a nice grip to it. It also slides in and out of your pocket nicely with out dragging or snagging like other cases do. Once again Otter made a premium product and if you need a sleek case and get protection, this is for you. Note: If your pretty hard with your phone and put it thru alot of heavy use, I recommend the Defender series as it has heavier case,screen and just a more heavy duty case.

This is just the type of case I was looking for. Small,light weight, makes the phone easier to hold on to, and fits nicely in my pocket. The edges do wrap around the phone enough to provide enough protection against light drops on the face/screen of the phone. It is very easy to remove, if you use your phone with a VR, and put back on. This is not the full size otter box case that completely protects against drops on the screen, but it is also not as large and bulky as the full size case either. I have a protection plan on my phone against breakage so there was no need for the full size maximum protection case for me. Very happy with this case.

I purchased 3 cases after initially buying this one just to protect the phone upon purchase. I kept going back to this case because it is the most comfortable and feels like it would be able to protect the phone from drops. Great case!

This is one of the few cases that are thin but will also provide good protection for the device. Plus some of the colors are really nice. I suggest going to the store to check out the case before purchasing it my local best buy let me try it on my phone before purchasing it so i can get a feel for the case on the device. Overall this is a great case and honestly the little extra on the sides are nice so you don't accidentally touch the curved edges of the phone.

At first, looking at the case, it didn't look like it would do much. I have dropped my phone already a few times now and the case holds up very well. It also keeps the slim design of the phone and keeps the luxurious experience that was intended.

The design works well with my S7edge. I have dropped my phone a few times since purchasing and so far the otterbox has protected it well. This particular design is slim and not bulky at all. It feels smooth and is easy to take on and off. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is due to the design not having any real front screen protection. It protects well enough for dropping your phone on the kitchen floor, but I wouldn't want to take a chance on cement. Bottom line: It's comfortable to hold and offers some protection.

It has given me a peace of mind knowing that my stepson can be a bit hard on the items he carries. The nice thing is that besides the great protection it's actually not to bulky of a case.

This covers the phone pretty well for being the edge!! It's also slim but sturdy. Light weight and good grip.

OtterBox is known for making good strong cases. However, sometimes they are too bulky. This model, the Symmetry, for my GS7 Edge, is a less bulky alternative while still giving your phone great protection. It's not total protection all around as the glass is still exposed, but if you don't want the big bulky case this is awesome. I love it. Excellent bumper protection and the ends keep your phone raised off the surface when you lay it glass side down.

This case is a great blend of fashion and function / protection. It fits perfectly as advertised, gives some color, but also provides a nice durable protection to the S7 Edge.
