The book has Season 1 episodes, deleted scenes and music, beautiful. There are also interchangeable pictures with a beautiful frame and finally a nice little flask you can put some scotch in to sip on while you watch the show. All these items come in a very nice box. A must have for any Outlander fan.

Great series that is well worth watching ! Jamie & Claire capture you from the first episode and it keeps buildig every episode after that. Their chemisry is so easy & natural. Claire is so fiesty and Jamie has so many different faces as a man. The side stories, actors & actresses are just as enthralling as the 2 main characters. I got as caught up in the history of Scotland & England & wanted to learn more. I can't wait for season 2 to begin!

This is where you are really drawn into the life and love of Jamie and Claire Fraser. It is in this volume that you know they were truly meant to be together even though she is a 20th century woman. When two souls come together, no matter the time something clicks and life as they knew it will never be the same. These two people are just those souls and I am just grateful to be along on the journey.

This is one of the best series on cable tv. Strange because at first, I did not think I was going to like it. Seemed like a "romance novel" come to life. Boy, did they fool me. It has the male/female relationship at its core, but it also has swashbuckling, war, conflict and good twists and turns throughout. Enough to keep a male viewer highly entertained. Buy this series.

I can't get Starz on my TV, so I have to wait for it to be released on DVD. So happy when it did, as I loved it! I don't binge, so I spread out the episodes like on TV; one a day or so. If you like this type of "modified history", I highly recommend it! It will rope you in. Be aware, though, that there are some R rated scenes.

If you like kilts and the Scottish accent, this series is for you. A fantastic adaption of the Diana Gabaldon's first novel in her Outlander series. The actors bring the characters to life, and the costuming is beautiful. Scotland itself is a character in this book. With a touch of fantasy, a bit of time travel and a whole lot of adventure and love make this a must have for fans!

Ultimate collection covers all episodes from first season along with soundtrack discs and photo stills. Also a flask with an inscription. It's a wonderful all in one piece for that die hard Outlander fan.

Outlander is a wonderfully acted and skillfully directed time-traveling series on Starz.. The story is wonderfully told and is a truly visual delight of the Scottish highlands. I have watched Season 1 and definitely look forward to watching Season 2. For all of the fans of the author of the story try to watch the series in addtion to reading the wonderful book!

No Starz on my TV, so I just buy the DVD! Incredibly beautiful scenery, and great storyline! But make sure to watch in order, or you will get lost! Make sure you have uninterrupted time for each episode (I don't binge), as the storyline is wonderfully complex. Characters are believable, but not for kids.

interesting from start. like the strong female lead. male lead is gorgeous, impossibly sensitive, but greatly appreciated. interesting supposition: to go back 200 years and survive, make your way. what would you do? not sure how accurate historically but dinna fash about that. just enjoy. great for that.

Great series and wonderful for binge watching. Final 2 episodes got a bit hard to watch based on Black Jack's psychopathology, but it is all part of the story line. Make sure to look at all the deleted scenes and the gag reel on Extras. Season 2 awaits...

If you seen the first half then you already know that there's no going back to the twentieth century for Claire. This second half is even more exciting with a storyline that leads up to a gut wrenching season finale that can only be cured by a long ocean voyage.

Outlander is a wonderful adaptation to a series of books that have been around for over 20 years. The casting of the actors that portray the characters in the novels could not have been more spot on. This series is one that I could and will watch over and over.

I have been a fan of the books for nearly 20 years. The tv show has done a wonderful job of staying true to the books. There is some violence and adult content, so be prepared. Should not be watched with children. But then again - this is true to the books.

I purchased this after having seen the series on television. I have read the series of books, and while there are changes made for the television adaptation, it still tells the same story very compellingly. I thoroughly recommend this to Diana Gabaldon fans.

If you have read the books this show is pretty much close to it. Which is amazing cause most shows draws back from the show very much. That is the perk when the author actually does their job as a consultant to the show. Once you start one episode you definitely won't stop until you finish the season.

This series is an action packed, fantasy, historical fiction. A wonderful love story, threaded through the Scottish rebellion here and in the British Isles. Not for the faint of heart. There are battle scenes, medical procedures and explicit love scenes. They are tastefully done, but one should be well aware before purchasing.
