Customers express satisfaction with the core gameplay, story, and action in Outriders, frequently citing it as fun, engaging, and addictive. However, many customers reported encountering bugs and server issues, impacting their overall experience. Some also felt the price point was too high and the persistent online requirement, even for single-player, was a significant drawback. The game's difficulty, while praised by some, was also noted as a potential barrier for certain players.

Just decent. Gameplay is pretty fun but gets repetitive. Gets a little stale after a while. The story is not good but there's a couple redeeming qualities.

Fun game. It can be repetitive and the story is OK but the gameplay and powers make it an enjoyable experience.

Outriders is a solid experience with a very fun and addictive gameplay. The powers you can do in game is so much fun, you will find yourself finding
experimenting with the skill tree and powers.
I will say of this review, the servers have issues and crossplay can work at times or disconnect you(they put a patch for the ps4 & PC).
The story is super hammed up like it kinda reminds me of Hollywood action film dialogue. It is not bad, but, it will get mad corny.
Overalll
Story 6/10

This game was something I wanted to like more than I ended up liking. Such a bummer for me. There are lots of bugs and while the shooting is fun, it just felt mindless and repetitive to me very quickly. The enemies become bullet sponges and soon you are unloading 200-500 shots per enemy.
The abilities are a lot of fun to play with but also get boring after a few levels.
This feels like a game from 10 years ago.

A total surprise! And this is why I always tell myself not to believe any reviews. This game is so much fun soloing the campaign, and then playing with friends or people you don't know. Reminds me of Destiny but with a story I care about, A great character instead of someone with no dialogue.

The game itself is so much fun. Gameplay solo is smooth and satisfying, very very difficult which is a nice change. Online okay however is clunky and almost unplayable at times. I would have given 5 stars but I was unfortunate enough to lose all my items on my first character. SquareEnix cannot do anything yet about it so I had to start over. Sometimes I have to close and launch the game many times for an endless signed in screen as he well, that is no fun.

Didn't know what to expect with this game... After putting in about 20 hours, I'm so glad I pre-ordered it. I'm really enjoying Outriders and want to keep playing. And by pre-ordering from Best Buy, the $10 credit and day one DLC was an added bonus. Only you have to play online, even in single player, which is the only thing I don't like or appreciate (PS Plus only needed for multiplayer). If you're okay with that then I highly recommend.

Is a pretty good game. Just annoying that it always has to be online, even when playing single player. Also sometimes I have to restart the game to get it to start. Cause you always have to be on their servers to play. But once you get it going, I’m ready to play for a few hours. It’s nice to have to change up your players weapons and outfit to get past certain areas. If it wasn’t for the online all the time, I would give it 5stars.

The core gameplay is good but needs some balancing here and there. The story might as well be removed as it was boring with very few one liners that made be laugh.
Currently the game has a ton of bugs and the endgame is nothing but time trials with possibility of being 1 shot and having to redo the whole mission.

Absolutely Fantastic Run & Gun, Loot, Upgrade, a Vast World Of Experience and Adventure! Its a Incredible game!!! Play alone or online! Saves to cloud doesnt take up major space either on your home console! The Gun selection is amazing along with the gear upgrades!!! Shooting is seamless, and wield other worldly powers in a ever changing universe!!!

The game is great. Very solid game play, the game has some bugs and a recent bug fix claims correction but the bugs still exist as of 5/28/21. Hopfully the game will be patched again and soon. Im also having extreme issues with online multiplayer and the connection failing regardless of hose despite having 0 issue with remnant: from the ashes.

When you can finally get the game to work, it is fun. Story is just interesting enough but I can't say that I've been very invested in it. It took about 5 hours of install, uninstall, reinstall, uninstall, wipe cache, rebuild the PS5 database, install again before I could finally get it to let me play beyond the introduction stage.

Fun looter shooter game that just misses the mark of being great. Definitely a fun game to play with friends but at the current ti e has quite a few bug crashes; as well as some floaty controls. If they patch the games current issues the game will continue to improve, but Definitely tons of fun with a lot of variety.

Fun game, but doesn't show true power of next gen

This was my first game purchase for my PS5. I was really looking forward to see the differences in a next gen console, so I waited to post this review until after purchasing/playing Returnal and Ratchet & Clank.
The game has solid graphics and is decently fun, particularly if you're purchasing it now and able to snag it for less than the $60 release price. But when comparing it to the two titles mentioned above, it is easy to see that the Outriders does not truly utilize and show the power of next gen systems -- as noted, the graphics are fine, but it is easy to see the difference when comparing to Returnal and Ratchet & Clank, both of which are visual masterpieces (in my opinion).
TLDR: Fun game if you're able to snag it as a discount to its release day price, but would not go out of your way to purchase it for $60.
