Used the sensor feature for baked potatoes and it went very well. I do a lot of reheating. Had a Panasonic Inverter prior to this one but the door latch stopped working correctly.

Could Use A Second Interior Light

It somehow is about to concentrate heat in the middle of a defrosting item, which makes for more quick and even reheat. Others have commented on the door angle; there is a minor cosmetic issue with the door sagging down and to the right, about 1 mm, with no associated performance issue. Soapbox: I wish there were LESS options for microwaves. How about just limiting the variables to plate diameter and power, and maybe cosmetic design features? Then the manufacturers could focus their attention on perfecting a few models, instead of flooding the marketplace with "choices" that differ very little one from the next. Thank you, Best Buy, for recycling my expired microwave for free in the store!

Panasonic microwave

It meets my needs. The only thing I wish was different is the sensor cooking, it has different levels but is not programed what they are for. The manual tells what it cooks at the different levels, so I need to check the manual when I am using sensor cooking. Works well but I wish iit was programed in the microwave.

Stop with the safely stuff I hate having to push a button to open the door.

Very good microwave

It's roomy inside and it heats fast. The sensor settings have worked well for me. Some people said they couldn't turn off the childproof lock and I was confused too. Then I saw the manual has 2 completely different sets of instructions to do it. The ones on page 10 don't work. Immediately following, but on the next page, it tells you to press "inverter turbo defrost", then "cooking timer", then "popcorn" and that will deactivate the lock function. Worked perfectly! I do wish the buttons were backlit, but that's my only complaint.

Yes, it is powerful enough, but the ease of use just isn't there. The interior light is the tiniest little light I have ever seen. It may as well not be there. There is no way to use the microwave in the dark, as the panel of buttons does not light up. Turning the micro on requires pushing more buttons than what should be necessary. I want my Breville microwave back!

Child Safety Lock on the Microwave

I had the same one prior to this and the numbers were falling apart so I bought the exact same one but there are a couple of differences - child safety lock and the light is not bright at all!! Whatever happened? Why is it so dim? Is it defective?Should I return it?

Bought it to replace a 1.3 cu since it seem like it was going to give out any day now. Definitely stronger which means less time in the microwave. The only thing I don’t like is the child safety lock. I followed the steps to take it off but it’s not working. Think that was an issue from buying it open box but I’ll deal with it. Other than that it’s pretty nice.

Good microwave

It is a nice size and has many features and warms food up evenly. As we use it in the office the only feature that is a little frustrating is the child lock as it is easy to do by accident.

Panasonic has a problem...

Totally unsafe for cooking. Microwave still works but i wont cook in it with peeling finish which is flaking off with rust appearing underneath. Terrible quality. I used to trust Panasonic...now ill stay away .

Superior microwave

It's got more wattage so items cook faster. Operation is smooth and easy. Only downside was the child safety feature which we don't need but would be good to have. We are able to disengage it so no worries. Love this one!

I warmed up some food, put it on for 30 seconds and it was good to go Now, the recpices I was given and the dishes I can order to cook with, can't wait for my other delicious foods I cand do in this microwave. Overall, this is the best I ever baught!
