    Almost perfect...

This player has 2 HDMI outputs which is great for receivers that don't support 3D, plus, it can split the sound and video into it's own HDMI cable for a better signal. The front looks clean and classy but not so much if you have to use the USB connector. Blu-ray loads relatively fast unless you're watching a 3D disc. This would have been a 5star rating if it were not for the front cover and slow 3d disc loading.

Another Fantastic Blu-ray Player from Panasonic

I have purchased 3 Panasonic Blu-ray players over the past 6 years and all have worked very well for many years. I bought the new model (BDT-460) after my 5 year old Panasonic player stopped reading discs. Even though I don't have a 3D or 4K TV yet, I know my Blu-ray player will be ready to handle it when I do upgrade my TV. No complaints with this player and the picture looks just as fantastic as my previous players.

    Shipping was terrible

The player seems to work OK, but it arrived loose in a box that had been cut down to about 2 feet by 3 feet. No packing whatsoever, just rattling around in the bottom. I set it up and it works, but I really have doubts about having anything else shipped to my home.

This Panasonic model BDT 460 combines a great video technology with excellent surround sound and a bunch of great, practical features. In addition to the 3D and 4K upscaling capability, you get additional features like an SD slot compatible with SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, dual HDMI ports and the ability to connect an external hard drive. Through Viera Connect, you will be able to access apps such as Netflix, You Tube, Skype, Facebook and Twitter. This Blu-ray player has the features you want for today and tomorrow.

Great picture. I have this paired up with an Epson 5030ube projector. I hate the remote! They put a Netflix button by the up arrow button so every time you navigate up you activate the Netflix site. Also it looked like it had been used before but I tried it out first and because it worked okay I kept it.

This player cost more than the other cheap players. I'm expecting this one to work better or rather longer. It does load relatively quicker. It did freeze up once. But then unplugging and plugging it back into the power, it woked fine since.

Huge improvement from my previous Blu-ray player. Put Avatar on and saw immediately the difference this player made! I have a Panasonic Viera LED backlit LCD and the GT-50 Plasma and my Panasonic products always deliver. Panasonic is top shelf without the top shelf price! Bottom line:This Blu-ray is a great value!

Not sure why so many negative comments about this player. You do need to go into setup and set the settings to your liking. Its just like when you bring home a new TV, You have to set some settings (e.g.) color brightnes contrast sound etc. And also you do need a HIGH SPEED HDMI V 2.0 cable (6ft) Thanks

In my opinion, I couldn't have bought a better blu-ray than this Panasonic. After having it over one month now and watching movies at least three night a week; the quality of picture and sound are better than my Pioneer Elite that cost my twice this one two years ago. Great color, great sound, fast response times!!! What else do you need?

Doesn't seam to be up to par with what I was hoping for quality wise but does have excellent picture and some nice features. Disappointed in remote and how well it recieves a signal from it. Is better than my recent samsung I bought a couple months ago though.

This one was another replacement for another previous (2 ) Panasonic 3d 4k bluray players and a Samsung that lasted less than 4 days. Settled for the premium price but still bought the 4 yr geek sqad plan so if it fails again, it gets returned again. The 4 yr plans has been the best buy so far... But as for the player, it froze once, it wouldn't read both Scorched Trials and MI5. It said BD-J on the front panel, (means blu ray java) Which are discs mastered in java? But anyways, I had to pull the power plug and plug back in and was good again. One other positive, this player does load relatively quick.

This BR player does 60 frames per second. Is by far the best BR on the market currently. Load times are decent, updates aren't as frequent and streaming thru it is amazing.

This is a nice Blu-ray player with 4k Ultra HD upscaling. I have owned several DVD/Blu-ray players over the years and I would give this one a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. The picture quality is good but I have seen better. The only problem I had with this Blu-ray player was that certain Blu-ray movies would cause the picture to freeze. I would then have to unplug it then plug it back in then it would function normally again. This happened very rarely and didn't bother me that much is the reason I gave it 4 stars.

My receiver is older, but it wasn't cheap. It doesn't have 3D pass through. So to watch a 3D movie I would have to move around cables and settings. With this player, makes everything simpler. And I don't have to buy a new receiver.

I have it hooked uo to a Samsung smart TV and the picture is excellent. There is a bit of a lag after pressing buttons and before it does stuff but the interface is good and easy on the eye compared to the samsung GUI ugliness which we suffered before and the usb/disc playing works well. I don't use movie streaming right now but i have a good wifi signal to it and I guess it would work well also. The utube etc. stuff does anyway. Happy with it.

This player has two HDMI outputs---I needed this because of my older receiver and my 3D TV. I ordered this player and it has many user adjustments and had a great picture and I really liked the picture but I noticed that the top didn't look right and upon closer inspection, I saw it was warped. There was no dent or damage and it had to have come from the factory in that condition. I ordered another one and it did not have a good picture at all. Must be bad qualtiy control which is too bad for panasonic.

Much faster than our previous model (BDT-30 I think). Haven't used the 3D aspect yet, but I hope to get a 3D TV soon. Wish it had Viera Link so it worked better with my TV and I also wish it didn't shut itself down so quickly when idle (can't find a way to tell it not to). Lots of options and features make viewing movies on it a pleasure.
