Very safe and most complete phone without unnecessary EMF's added. Caller ID, Speaker Phone, Mute, Hold, Call Waiting, Even has an option for a headset. What more can you ask for. i got the black one but I believe there is a white one as well you can choose. They also have one with an answering machine. Most Importantly, no wall plug adapter is needed! The batteries are only needed for the caller ID function, but phone will work without batteries! Great phone, highly recommend for health lovers.

Purchased this phone for my job at home. It works very good, I get very good reception and I like the fact I am able to connect my headset. Definitely recommend this phone.

its a good basic wired phone with the exception of not being back-lit. It is definitely and older design you cant read it in the dark or even low light

This phone came in to be defective and had problems her Panasonic tech-support. I sent this phone back and received another new phone but it had the same problems as the first per Panasonic tech-support. Did not want another one so I just returned it. Terrible phone a waste of time and money.

After 45 years as a communicator, i know what I like ... and I don't like machine answering systems as well as speaker phones. I think the latter is rude and the former is unnecessarily complicated. This phone is clean looking, simple, reliable, and has just the elements that I want.

    Good Phone--Bad Headset Implementation

Fine phone, but go elsewhere if want to use a headset as need to remove the headset to use the speakerphone. One should be able to switch from one to the other by pressing a button. Wound up replacing it with the AT&T ML17929, which has two lines, but most important allows switching by pressing a button.

Can't set date or time no matter what. Followed instructions exactly. And I'm geek enough to do my own web site. Staring at "set clock" on display and can't stand it. Also, there is an annoying delay between when you press a number button and you hear the tone.

I tried putting my cell phone in memory to try it out, and it worked fine. Then I tried to put in several numbers, and it refused to do the final step. I called Panasonic, and the technician walked me through it, and it still would not work. He determined it needed repair. I was to return it to Panasonic at MY expense, and wait for them to repair my new telephone. I returned it to Best Buy and bought an AT&T phone that works fine. I will think twice about buying Panasonic again!

I initially had the same issues as the other reviewer, unable to set clock. I went into the Program ? menu and turned the Time adjustment from On to Off. Not sure if that's what did it or not. But you DON'T set the time/clock from the main menu as it would appear. You need to go into the program sub-menu, even though the main screen says "Set Clock" when you first put batteries in your phone.

    Not so great

I ordered this phone in the hopes that I would be able to have a properly functioning phone to use for business, sadly I found that it only works with AA batteries which I never noted in any descriptions online. It happens to kill these batteries in less than a day which is murder on me. I replace the batteries daily. Not a very good solution for a business...... I can honestly say I was dissatisfied with this product and wish there was a greater amount of description on the phone.

I wanted a 1 line, headset compatible corded phone. I looked everywhere. Walmart, Radio Shack, Office Supply, and several order-online sites. I finally found one on BestBuy.com for a great price. And now I can use my home phone the way I want to. It does seem sad that this type of phone was once very popular and now you have to dig hard and deep to find one and hope it's in your budget because there doesn't seem to be many competitors today. Overall, great phone, great price!
