Very clear reception, easy to use, good sound quality. This radio works well - a modern version of an old school basic am/fm radio. We were surprised it worked well even in our screened in porch that has a lot of metal framing - no other radio could get clear reception - this radio works better than expected. We’re happy with this radio.

I knew what I wanted. Not in stock. The clerk check it and they had it. Bought it and had it sent to my house! Perfect. Love it. Right next to a similar model I bought in 1964.

We bought this radio to replace another portable radio that had developed problems after at least 20 years of service. The Panasonic automatic tuning works very well, sound quality is very good for a small radio, and it seems to be very well made, overall. My only criticism is that the volume control goes from fairly quiet to moderately loud with a small turn of the dial, so that one may have to fiddle with it to get it right for an audible, but lower volume. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase.

Nice size, plugged in various locations in the house and so far reception is very good with clear sound, especially AM stations. I would definitely recommend it!

My elderly father loves to listen to the radio in his room. After purchasing several other portable radios which stopped working after a week or had poor reception, I finally found this radio at Best Buy. It's held up very well, gets good reception and is easy to use. The only downside is that the battery compartment is a little fragile and my father broke the cover off within a couple weeks.

This radio satisfies the reason for my purchase, a portable, battery powered radio in case of emergencies. The reception is okay with a little adjustment to the antenna. This is required in both the AM & FM modes.

Bought mainly for power outages. Use it outside occasionally in the yard or shed. Very good AM reception. Local FM stations tune in clear while more distant stations, over thirty miles away, tune in good, but with a lot of static.

Bought this for my kitchen, so that I can listen to music while I am cooking and/or cleaning. The size is perfect, so it fits just about anywhere. Sound is good for such a small radio. I am loving it!

This is a great little radio. I use it in my bathroom so I can listen to the morning news, and the sound quality is good for this purpose. It won't be quite so satisfactory for music, but I assume anyone who is seriously into music would have a better set-up. The tuner is quite sensitive on the FM band. I don't listen to AM radio, so I can't really comment on that. Good price, too.

Everything about the radio is great, it's good at finding channels and has a cool design. One thing Panasonic can improve on is desensitising the volume knob.

I purchased this radio for AM stations. The reception is good. As to FM stations, it is good as well. The sound is loud and clear.

Nothing fancy, for $20 it cant be beat on DOD , excellent tone pretty loud and should last forever

For the price, it better be! And was! Just holding it you can tell it was built well. Sound is great, easy to get to station to 'lockl in'. I use for 'talk radio' only. I'm 72 old rocker back in the day, now, like the episode of South Park where one kid now finds the music he use to like sounds like 'Sheet'! I like the hesitation between tuning it on and it coming on. That tells me it's getting itself 'together' to operate efficiently. Buy it for the garage, bathroom and when the electricity goes out you'll still be able to listen to Rush!!

Great size, can be used with either batteries or plug in. Stations easy to tune in, decent sound quality. Would buy again.

My husband likes the ilttle radio very much. Will use it during the summer on the patio. It has good sound.

A good purchase. Great reception. Bought this for a 89 year old cousin who lives by herself and has no one who lives near her. Her tv broke.

Panasonic is a great product anyway. It sounds great and it is a nice AM/FM radio for carrying around, and to use when electrical outages occur.
