This is the first Blu-Ray player that I've bought and I got it because the price was very good comparatively, plus it has built-in wifi with Netflix capabilities, which is convenient. I generally trust Panasonic products as a whole and this one does not disappoint. It's pretty tiny, so it fits virtually anywhere from a big entertainment set up to my teeny dresser next to my 32" TV. It's super easy to set up, even if you're not necessarily tech savvy, and it does exactly what it needs to when it needs to. You can set it up to "quick start" if you want it to turn on instantly, however, this option uses a bit more energy and may reflect on your utility bill. If you're more patient, like me, you can set it to the normal setting and it'll take a min to really get going, but it's not too bad. I like to turn it on, then get my Blu-Ray out of its box and the player is usually ready to go by then. Not a deal breaker by any means. While the Blu-Ray disc is playing, it runs beautifully as it should, although it's a bit loud. It's a bit of a solid hum, kind of like the old 90's CD players or a VHS that hasn't been used in a decade. (If you're still using a VHS, then you REALLY need the upgrade.) I don't really mind said hum because the sound on the TV generally drowns it out. It can be heard at quiet points in a film, but if you're paying more attention to the Blu-Ray player than the movie, it probably wasn't a very interesting film to begin with. Overall, this is a brilliant option for the price.

I purchased this blu-ray player because of its wi-fi connectivity and I use it primarily to connect to Netflix and stream movies to the TV in my room. I have not used the Blu-ray player for DVDs yet but I plan to. I'm sure if the DVD feature works as well as the wi-fi, I won't be disappointed. Set-up was easy and connectivity was no problem. I use it very regularly to watch Netflix and it works perfectly for what I need. The price was decent and I feel the quality for the money spent was a fair match. I would definitely recommend this blu-ray player to friends. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because I have not utilized all the blu-ray's features.

This Blu-Ray works really well and is such a bargain. The set-up is simple ... a no brainier! The buttons on the remote are easy to read with large enough buttons you know what you are pushing. Having the option of WiFi is a huge plus. I am very impressed with this Blu-Ray unit and would highly recommend this unit to anyone and especially to those that are budget conscious.

I bought one of these Panasonic Blu-ray Disc player back in February. Loved it so much that I bought another one online and just received it a couple days ago. These are so simple to set up. Only required HDMI cable to install. The picture with Blu-ray disc's is beyond awesome and with a regular DVD the picture is still awesome with the HD step-up this baby provides. I highly recommend this player to anyone looking for a good Blu-ray at a reasonable price. I bought these to replace the cheaper Phillips brand Blu-ray I bought at Walmart. Stay away from those. Before long they stop playing non-blu-ray discs if it ever did play them and they even quit playing Blu-ray discs if they are used much. Phillips is garbage. These Panasonic play all my DVD's as well as Blu-ray without a hitch.

I got this little guy in the weeks after Christmas when it was still on the post-Christmas doorbusters. It's pretty slim and light. It's not overly noisy when running, but does do a bit of grinding upon turning on and loading a disk. The picture is very clear. One of my favorite bits is the integration of the Netflix button on the remote. I am lazy, and it bypasses the somewhat clunky menu navigation. I am not going to use this for Facebook, but jumping to Netflix immediately after turning it on is great. A feature that wasn't really highlighted is that it has an integrated sleep function, which is fantastic because I often fall asleep with a movie running. This works either when a disk is in, or when Netflix is running.

The directions to set up this blue ray player were easy to follow. It has a great picture. The remote is used friendly also. The directions come up on your tv screen to complete the set up of the player. I would purchase this one if I were to give it as a gift.

I first brought a Toshiba that was a lemons it only worked for two weeks,bought a Sony that was on sale,but return it because it didn't have wi-fi built in. I started searching for another brand and found this one as an open box item and it was price right and was complete in the box. It work right out the box and started making my TV into a smart TV. I love everything about this Blu Ray player and meets all my needs for watching or streaming blu ray movies at 1080p ,watching cracker,you tube video,or VUDU movies. Was very easy access web media, and also very clear high-definition images.

I purchased this to replace my original Blu-Ray from Sony. The Sony was a first generation player that took excruciatingly long to load discs. I researched new players, and I was drawn to the Panasonic brand because I have a Panasonic Plasma that I love. This player had great reviews but was difficult to find. The reviews on this player were better than the newer players from Panasonic. Almost everything available now is 3-D, and I did not want a 3-D player. I bought this player and am very happy with it. It loads in about 15-45 seconds. I am not sure why some discs take longer than others, but loading time blows away the old player. It is very easy to set up and was ridiculously cheap at Best Buy, less than $80. As soon as I plugged it in and connected to my wireless network, I got a message that an update was available, so I hit the update button and watched the progress bar. I panicked after the update because none of the buttons on the remote worked. I pulled the plug, waited about a minute and plugged the unit back in and it has worked fine ever since. I have had this for about a month now, and I could not be happier with this purchase. The picture is beautiful, and it works very well with my Panasonic Plasma. I have not watched any DVD discs yet, so I cannot comment on upconverting. I have not streamed any movies with this. I prefer to rent the Blu-Ray discs. I watched The Lone Ranger on Blu-Ray last night and continue to be blown away by the picture: crystal clear and sharp as a tack. I would definitely recommend without hesitation. Good luck on finding one. I had been searching for a while without luck, and when Best Buy advertised it, I jumped on it. No regrets.

My dvd player went caput and I needed to replace it. Thought I might as well go blu-ray since everything is eventually going to blu-ray anyway. After shopping around I found this Panasonic unit on sale. It was easy to set up, the picture is awesome, is wifi enabled, has enough options for me (net flix, you tube , face book, etc) as I really do not use them. Takes no time to set up, no time to load and the price was great. I even found it on sale at another store for 10 dollars less and Best Buy refunded me the difference. I am realy happy with this unit.

The price I paid was excellent, even allowed me to pick out a couple blu-ray discs to try out, the picture was excellent! I love that when I stop my movies it will resume them right where I left off even if I come back after an entire day. The interface is so easy to use, and has a very easy set-up for internet connection. I bragged about all the features so much I got my parents to go out and buy the same one.

We needed a new DVD player and got a blu-ray instead because of the great picture quality, wifi, and price. It was so easy to set up and use right out of the box that even the not-so-tech-savvy set would have a good initial experience with it. We have had no issues at all with this product and recommend it to others.

I purchased this blu-ray player after having issues with a toshiba player I had. It was a little bit pricer, but after the problems I had with the other model it was worth a try. I am very happy with my decision! So far it has been very reliable, I haven't had any problems with it freezing, shutting off or not turning on like the toshiba model I had before. This player was also easy to set up and had a cool feature of having different profile for different users to save the setting you like. I also enjoy the netflix button on the remote. The only thing I haven't liked so far is the placement of the home button on the remote it is right next to the right arrow button and I accidently hit it sometime which takes me back to the begging screen and causes me to have to start the process over. Otherwise great blu-ray player! Would definitely recommend it for the price point.

This BluRay DVD player is so easy to use and has great quality picture!! Even the kids can use it with ease!! They way it holds music, photo's, and external memory for anything is great! And easy accessibility to Netflix doesn't hurt either!!! A+ grade in my book!!

Highly recommended machine. If you're looking for a Wi-Fi built-in Blu-Ray player, stop the search and just get this little baby. Simple set-up, light, doesn't take up much space, great features and great picture quality. It just all around rocks.

The picture is great, easy to use and set up. Right away I was able to watch a movie with very little delay from set up. Loads quickly, most Blues take time this one didn't for the price it is a great unit.

This blu-ray player is great! Love the picture and love that it is so small. Fits right in with my black glass tv stand. It is very easy to use and very sleek! Love this product and definitely recommend it to anyone. You will love the picture!

Replaced an old DVD player and the new pitcher was a lot better with the new one, have not tried a blu ray disc yet do not know how much better it is. It was easy to setup and having the internet available is going to be great because I will not have to run back to my family room every time I want to get on it. The slim design takes up a lot less space than my old player. It was very easy to set up with the HDMI input and the remote was really easy to learn how to use. I have only run into one problem and I am not sure why but one my DVD's always starts from the beginning instead of where I stop at. I have not yet downloaded anything from the internet yet so I cannot say for sure how that works. I have recommended this to my family.

Great picture. Easy set up. I have two other DVD players and this is the best yet. Very compact and easy to use.

Great Blue Ray player. Owned JVC and Sony. Prefer Panasonic. My second unit! Reliable, great picture, easy set up, and wireless....

I picked this Blu-ray player because it was on sale and had good reviews on line. I was not disappointed. very user friendly. As I mentioned above the only disappointment is that it does not connect to amazon for their video service.
