No configuration needed. Charge it up and your flying. No need to trim for stability. The wheels make it a great mini quad copter for indoors. Durable and easy to find replacement parts and extra batteries. Also a great practice tool for the Bebop Drone. If I could add anything, it would be a forward camera.

It's very easy to use and a lot of fun. The only down side I see is it is a bit fragile. I lost control and it flew very high and then free fell to the ground damaging one of the motors.

This little sucker is really fun to fly, but you MUST get extra batteries. I was able to get three plus a charger from Amazon for a reasonable price. I'm on my second one now (beat the heck out of my first one), but be prepared to buy extra motors. I tried to be careful with the second, but still managed to warp one of the motors. I think anyone who wants to play with drones needs to understand that this just comes with the territory unfortunately. All in all, it's a fun drone, has lots of cool features and won't break the bank for the amount of functionality you get. If you're looking for a drone that can get the kind of aerial footage you see on YouTube, this isn't it. This camera has the resolution of an early 2000 cell phone I'd say.

Awesome price! Very fun to play with works well. Syncs to phone over Bluetooth. Flys smoothly haven't had any malfunctions so far. But an extra battery. Battery life is about 8 minutes. Really fun to play with. Better without the wheels on.

I bought this for my son. He controls it from his iPhone and loves it. My only complaint is the battery life is extremely short. When he first got it, he could fly for approximately 10 minutes. After a couple weeks, that time has gone down to maybe 2 minutes per flight. Unfortunately, the recharge time is significantly longer, so he doesn't play with it all that much. If the battery had a longer life, he would fly it constantly, though.

The mini drone is very easy to operate from the app. It cooperates with the child's instructions going high into the air. It has a soft landing. One complaint though is that the battery dies after about 7 minutes. Then needs to recharge. My son played with it constantly during Christmas holidays and it was his favorite gift.

Bought it for my son. Flew it for the first time and it was fun. After flying it a few times and recharging it, battery would be fully charged and then instantly drain to 8% after it would take off. And the axle for the wheels broke on the first crash. Returned it and got a new one. Battery lasted this time and had no problems other than the cheap flimsy wheels and axle broke after 3rd crash landing. Finally took it outside (after doing it before with no issue) with my son and all of a sudden it took off vertically until we could no longer see it. Lost it in less than 30 seconds. I thought this thing was supposed to cut off when it got out of range and was supposed to not go higher than a specified height. Plus the cutoff button didn't work. It was kind of annoying seeing $100 take off and not be seen again without some kind of explosion or something making losing $100 worth it.

Lots of great features for the price. easy to use and control via the bluetooth/ phone interface. The one-touch "stunt" buttons are great and it can take a bit of a beating.

Fairly easy to learn to fly. This is a good option for someone who is wanting to eventually get into more sophisticated drones. Controls easily with a smart phone. Only real downside is the short (10 min or so) battery life.

This was my first drone I have purchased and it was nothing less than what I expected. Pros: Removable wheels for crash support and maneuverability. Connects to your phone so no need to tote around a controller. Cons: The battery life leads more to be desired, but if you are not wanting to spend multiple hundreds on a drone for a good battery, then it is not terrible. The box says that the batteries get 6-8 minutes of use but I have had it go 10-15 minutes normally from fully charged. While connecting to your phone is very cool, the controls can be difficult to get used to. Overall this is an enjoyable drone and if you are not looking for anything serious then its a decent buy for the price. A beginner can pick it up easy enough. The pictures are sometimes unclear but for a $100 drone, its definitely not the worst. I would recommend if you are just looking for some small fun thing to occupy your time for about 10 minutes.

pros . super stable and agile . flips and takes pictures. dogs love it i saw a few cats take interest in it . cons needs a second battery which you can only buy at brookstone or online . and noone sells props you have to order them online . i recommend buying the insurance

Very easy to fly. Battery drain needs to be fixed. Buggy at times. Make sure to grab extra batteries so you get more than 5 minutes of flight.

This was so easy to set up and tons of fun. The reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it doesn't have long battery life at all. It had to be recharged after a very short time. Other than that, it's a great purchase.

its just sweet in a few days I'm going up walls playing with it like a car on the floor doing flips while flying just so much fun. The battery is only 8 min so when your done you want more so extra battery's are great! And it's great that it's stability is just something else. You can let go and it will just huver that's what makes it great while it hovers you can practice hights turning and after a few hours it's just VERRY fun and kool

Worked well, our son enjoyed it. Wished the battery life lasted longer but most this size and price are the same. Easy to fly with the app, would recommend this.

This drone is flown from your phone it was easy to set up. I was flying the Drone with in a hour. It would have been sooner but had to wait on battery to charge

This is a great little drone for the first timers. The iPhone controls are easy to learn quickly. Battery only lasts about 15min though. Recommended to get a second.

This mini drone has wonderful control and is easy to fly. It's very good. Only issue is it runs for 8 mins or less on a battery charge. Then it takes 90 minutes to recharge.. Mother wise actually outstanding!!!

Flies great even after a couple of bumps and crashes. The flight time is not enough to enjoy drone. Either have another batter on standby or have another helicopter available. The charge time is too long for the limited flight time for this drone. When Airborne it's great!

Plugged it in, charged it up, and was flying within the hour. I will admit, like other reviewers, it takes a long time to charge and has a relatively short flight time. Also, I have not been able to get pictures off of it via bluetooth. I have not tried the direct connection to a computer but, I will eventually. Other than that, it has been lots of fun.
