I simply bought this as an impulse buy for the grip controllers as well as the cover to carry around my Switch when I need to. Not bad, but it wouldn't be a purchase I would make in store. Saw it online, and snagged the deal. It is very convenient and will keep your Switch safe during travel.

I got this mainly for the purpose of the screen protector and the case for the tablet/slate. Overall I like the case. Holds 12 Switch games total, the tablet with joycons and has a small pocket to hold small accessories or AC adaptor. The screen protector is just that and serves its purpose. The included headphone may look nice with the Sheikah accents but the quality of them is not impressive in the slightest. Very tinny sounding and weak with little bass. The thumb grip caps are visibly nice but offer little grip. They are plastic and honestly I will not be using them. The armor guards for the joycons are sadly a let down. They are hard plastic and despite the way the packaging shows them, the accents are barely visible outside of a very well lit area. The packaging shows the accents to almost be colored in dark. This is shown in the pictures. Another issue is if you plan to use the comfort grip that comes default with the Switch or the charging joycon grip, the joycons with the armor guard cannot be on and slide into either grip and must be taken off. This not an issue however for using it in portable mode. The extra plastic does slightly interfere with the kickstand however and it sits a different way as with without. As I previously stated, I bought this for the case and I do very much enjoy it. I cannot recommend this at the current price point however. If it drops below $20 it is a good case and the screen protector is always nice to have.

Good, but not perfect

-Screen protector fits perfectly, unlike reviews I've seen for PDP's standalone screen protector. Keep this in mind while lining up all sides. The plastic included to smooth out any air bubbles is a worthlessly hard, thin piece of plastic. It will likely cut through the top layer of application-film and damage the screen protector. I would recommend using a credit card, or a rubber one if you happen to have one from ArmorSuit lying around.
I've also seen reviews indicating this bundle, and the standalone screen protector, including a cleaning cloth that deposits more dust than it leaves. I can attest to this. I used canned air to clean out the cloth, and applied the protector while in a very humid room (like a bathroom after taking a shower - keeps the dust and dander down).
All in, not as good as a wet-application screen protector, but a darn fine static cling.
-The thumbcaps are hard plastic. Different kind of traction than the normal rubber ones. I'll be holding onto them, but not likely to use them.
-The joy-con 'grips' are a hard the same plastic as the thumbcaps. While that works fine for the grips, the detail indicated on the packaging is non-existent. This detail has been pressed by a mold into the plastic, and is not dual-toned. Additionally, they're the same thickness as the depth for the R and L buttons, meaning you will be more than likely to hit the plastic bumper than the buttons, until you're used to it.
-The case is sturdy, not hard, but not padded. It will be sufficient for storing everything in, but not for drops. If you're gravity-prone, this is not the best case for you. Otherwise, looks nice, the design is raised rubber on one side, painted on the other. Worried it may tear away with excessive use, but not mad at it, for now. there's a divider that protects the front of the Switch while in transit, with games storage on its opposite side, and a storage pouch that's more than adequate for a spare Motorola USB-C charger.
-Headphones are cheap, dollar-store type, and tinny as heck. Come on, PDP: it's 2017. You can pack in affordable headphones, already.
All in all, this is something that I wouldn't balk at $20, but at $30, it's only a value due to its availability. If you can, spring for the special edition of zelda and a standalone screen protector. If you can't, this isn't a terrible backup plan.
EDIT: Used a bit of silver Rub-N-Buff along with some 99% rubbing alcohol, and a lot of patience to fix what PDP couldn't be bothered with on the Joy-Con Grips. Some matte sealer, and they actually feel a bit better than they did originally.
Also, without the controller protectors on there, there's about a half inch in any direction for the system to jiggle about inside the case. 3/5 star review stands as I already addressed this isn't *THE* case for everyone, but it's a bit disappointing all the same.

When I got this, it was for the novelty of being able to carry around my switch safely with all of its components, and store any games I purchase, while announcing to the world that I love this franchise. The case has plenty of space to store games, but as for traveling, the design of the case forgot to think about the unit's two hour battery life, and can't fit the charger. It also can't fit the switch's game controller, so I learned really quickly how to play using the switch controllers and screen as one piece. I would still recommend getting it, because it keeps the switch, on its own, nice and safe when traveling, so mine doesn't have any scratches or dents. There's also a screen protector and joystick covers to add a bit more protection (and color).

If you're a Zelda fan who maybe passed on the BoTW special edition, this is the perfect companion for your Nintendo Switch. The design and colors are soft and looks great within your game area. It's got a soft inner liner so your system, games, and accessories won't scratch. The only downside for me personally came from the blue joycon armor grips which didn't have the etched design seen in the photo, as well as the left one being slightly loose on the controlller. The analog nubs are great, but as per any often used controller, they get a little dirty. Neither of these accessory issues should dissuade you from purchasing this case, it is superb in every way. It definitely does its job at protecting your Nintendo Switch.

Originally looking for one of the simple Switch branded cases, I settled on this due to stock availability. However, despite it's in-your-face decor (which may not bother you if you're a Zelda superfan), you get a solid case, with storage for both the console, a bunch of games as well as some storage for smaller accessories in the netting pocket. It comes with a screen protector as well, so now you have scratch protection, and some grips and joystick pads if you're looking to trick-out your joy-cons. Overall, it gets you the portable protection you need if you plan on taking your system out of the dock ever.

The case is really nice, and it gives me a place to put my games (for when I have more than just Zelda)
The joycon grips were kind of lame, because they don't work with the joycon grip. You have to remove the grips to put them in the controller grip...
Screen protector was kind of lame, but VERY needed until I got a replacement so that my screen didn't get scratched in the poorly-designed switch dock...

I actually bought this just based on how cool the case looked online. Receiving it in person, it exceeded my expectations. It has an awesome golden Sheikah eye zipper pull. It came with a screen protector, thumb grips to match the case, and even a set of LoZ themed earbuds! It also holds a fair amount of games (more than is even coming out this year lol).

Case is sturdy build, great zipper, cool design, holds games, protects console, and has room for headphones and extras! Plus, the handle is well built for carrying. I have owned for several months and its still looks like new. I will update if anything changes.

This kit was definitely a great buy when I first got my switch. It comes with a screen protector which is awesome since most cases don't. The interior is nice and soft with an easy way to organize your games (a lot of game/memory card storage) and a nice netted pocket to hold the included earbuds and cleaning cloth. The switch itself fits in nicely and has a nice Velcro stretchy band that holds it in place. The Joy-Con guards and the thumb caps are easy to put on - and take off when I need to put the Joy-Cons in my steering wheel controllers. The case itself is pretty sturdy and the price is awesome! The only downside I would say is that the charger doesn't fit in with it, but that's because the charger is big and clunky....

My husband and I purchased this on a whim, after standing in line for the release of the Nintendo Switch. We are so glad we did--not only is it Zelda-themed, but it immediately provided us with a way to protect and carry around our new Nintendo Switch (including a screen protector, which we found out was crucial because of reports of Switch screens getting scratched by its own dock). It includes all the essentials anyone would need for their new console--a carrying case with slots for game cartridges, a screen protector, Joy-con protector sleeves and joystick protectors, and headphones. I would definitely recommend this for any Zelda (or even non-Zelda) fans looking for a carrying case set!

Case is good quality, the earbuds and screen cleaner are a nice addition. The casing for the joycons is very stiff however; it is difficult to press the button in the back of the joycons when the plastic casing is on.

Great product, bigger than the basic model but still a lot of fun. The zipper is golden so it contrast with the blue, maybe too much white for a kids toy but does the job. The screen protection fits perfectly

I was very happy with my purchase of this case. Not only does it support one of my favorite games and series of all time, but it is actually quite well made. It may not be the most rugged case that you could buy, but its sturdy enough to the point where it would be difficult to damage the console by dropping it on accident. It looks really cool and is a convenient size and shape. My only problem with it would be that it is white and can get dirty very easily, but I knew that I was committing to that by buying, so its my problem.
As for the different parts that came with the case, I was quite happy with them as well.
The screen protector certainly isn't as good as a tempered glass screen protector, but since I was getting this mainly for the case, it was nice to have one included that I could use first before I buy some better ones. The cleaning cloth was pretty nice as well.
The JoyCon plastic protectors were pretty cool as well. I wish that the designs on them were etched in a little deeper, because you have to look pretty closely to make out the patterns. Of course, they are plastic as well, so they will help protect against accidental damage, but they aren't going to provide THAT much protection. Regardless, for being included with the case, they were a nice bonus. They look really cool and give my gray Switch a little more color. The thing I love most about the controller protectors, though, is that they make the controller a little bulkier and give them a bit more weight. The controllers are pretty small to begin with, but with the protectors on they feel a lot more comfortable to use. The control stick covers were also a nice bonus. Again, they are plastic, so if you like having the friction of the rubber control sticks, I wouldn't use them. For me, they were a nice addition to the style of my Switch, and I like the way they feel.
Overall, a great product! Definitely worth the price.

I purchased this for my wife's Switch after I was very pleased with the similar one that came with the Breath of the Wild collector's edition. This case is the same quality and form factor. The difference is only the decoration. The case is firm without being hard, provides great storage for headphones, cleaning cloth & game cartridges while the elastic/velcro strap keeps the switch securely in place. Pictures don't do the quality justice. We love it!

I recently purchased this for use with my nintendo switch, and I have to say it has been awesome! It has a great handle for easy carrying, it holds more games than what I currently have, the joy-con protectors feel nice, the system fits snugly and the screen protector and earbuds are all great. Definitely worth the money!
