Initially purchased this for my camera gear to shoot landscape. Fits my Sony a6000, 2 lenses, LEE filter setup, and other small necessities. Also use as a school bag since it fits my 9.7 inch iPad pro with the smart keyboard.

This is a great little bag. High quality, it’s on the small side, but that’s what I got it for. This is not a dedicated travel bag for all your gear. This is a walk around bag. I can fit my a7r and a 24-105 with some batteries.

I wanted a bag I could take with me for impromptu shoots while exploring around town. Something that I could take with me on foot and into a bar without screaming “This is a camera.” This fulfilled that requirement. Took it on a stroll downtown before sunset and met a friend for dinner and it wasn’t too cumbersome. You do have to pack light - it holds a DSLR body, and maybe two smallish lenses. Zipper pocket inside holds SD cards, cables, cloths, pens, keys. Internal organizer is customizable so you can arrange it to your liking. Haven’t really found a use for the external pocket, but there is one. Adjustable strap is comfy. Would feel fine riding my bike with this. Only thing I really miss is a water bottle pocket. Pricey but I find this so worth it.

I am blown away with the quality found in Peak Design’s products! This was my second purchase and I’m now looking at a backpack. Love the size of this but really ideal for 2 small lenses and camera with one shelf. My long distance lens, wide angle, 18-55 lens fit with camera but it’s super tight and not ideal for use, just transport. I’m buying 6L to determine how much more space one extra liter provides.

I was looking for a camera bag that would not be obtrusive when I was traveling or on a shoot, but I needed it to fit a Canon 80d with at least lenses. I took my gear to best buy and tried fitting it and to my surprise I was able to fit my 80d with an 18-135mm on and a 50 1.8 while still having a small space left. Great bag, peak design makes some seriously high quality stuff, worth the money. Looks great too!

I got this bag because I needed something smaller than their 10L sling. It’s just what I needed. Fits my a6000, rx100, one extra lens, batteries, external battery, wallet, keys. I did have to exchange a few as some examples had chalk marks during manufacturing or some had stitching issues that would become a problem down the line. I would do a thorough check before the return period expires. Great bag if you find a good example.

I bought this for my wife after quite a bit of searching. Since it wasn't carried in our store we took a chance on this one. It is versatile and just the right size for her Canon M50 and lenses and has a good assortment of smaller compartments for organizing extras. I know Peak Design makes high quality gear, I have several of their accessories/straps for my camera, and this bag is definitely a winner as well. The materials, zippers and strap are first rate, it is well constructed and the customizable dividers are a great design. Some folks might balk at the higher price than similarly sized bags but, as with most things, I say "buy nice or buy twice."

I use this as a day bag for running errands. It has many pockets. I just did realize I would dislike the tan color on the inside. I wish the bag was more flexible but it’s well designed on the outside. My favorite about this bag is the shoulder strap release.

I purchased this 5L bag as a small carry bag. I have the 10L and it is great, but this 5L lets me just carry the camera and an extra lens. Very compact!

I bought this bag for a trip to Washington D.C. and it was small enough to fit in my tote bag. It holds my Nikon z6 with lens attached and if I move the removable dividers to the bottom, the lens hood. It also holds an extra battery and has a place for a small tablet or iPhone. If you are looking for something light that you can use like a waist pack (I usually carried it over my shoulder) that only holds a small amount of equipment this would work but it is rather expensive for that purpose. I would have given it 5 stars except for the price for a bag with limited usefulness. I needed a bag that was large enough to carry a camera, my phone and my keys and it does do that.

I always love this brand , I also have the bigger size of this bag it is very comfortable carrying this camera bag I just wish they have another attachment to hold the phone near the strap, the only con is sometimes the shorten strap area does not buckle tight and it the strap would slide a little, bit over all I’m very happy.P.S. To this company I also wish they have a long lens bag attachment

I won't snore you with the details about Peak's design and build chops. I'm assuming if you are looking at this bag you know what you are looking at. My biggest assessment here is of the size. I have owned the 30L backpack, 15L messenger, 10L messenger, 10L sling, and the field pouches. Throughout this time I've been on the quest for an every day purse/bag for my wife, well the sling 5L is it. Literally the perfect size for her, her stuff, and an a6500. Well done Peak.

I bought this bag to hold a full frame DSLR and zoom lens so I could carry around my camera without having to bring a backpack with all my other gear. This bag is very well constructed and is comfortable to wear, but it’s a very tight fit getting my Nikon D750 with 24-120mm zoom lens in and out easily, especially if I have the Peak Design Sling strap attached. However, I do like that this bag has a piece of fabric so you can easily attach a Capture clip to hold your camera on the outside of the bag and keep it ready. Although the build quality is excellent and I love the compact size, I think this bag is best suited to a smaller DSLR or a mirrorless camera system.

I already had the Peak Design backpack - and absolutely love it - so this was a no brainer when I needed something for those video shoots that require more mobility and less gear. Can fit my LUMIX G85 (in its cage), plus 4 lenses in this bag! Must be said that 2 of the lenses are smaller, but still, perfect size for a small shoulder sling camera bag. Love the design. Super durable. Excellent features. You go buy now.

Was a little apprehensive at first especially with the price. But after using it for a month now and on a couple of road trips I am sold! Perfect size for my Sony A6500 and a pair of Sigma lenses. And there is plenty of room left for other accessories like batteries, changer, etc. The quality is excellent and I expect o get many years of use.

I was initially worried about the size of this bag, thinking it was going to be too small, but I'm able to fit my A7RIII, the tamron 28-75 f2.8, and the sony 85mm 1.8 lens along with a spare battery and few other gadgets. Highly recommend for people that need something that doesn't scream, "I"M A PHOTOGRAPHER, LOOK AT ME!".
