    Great upgrade to stock strap

Installed on Canon 70d, greatly improved comfort over the stock strap, works great if your multitasking you can sling the camera out of the way behind you. Strap length adjusted quickly and easily as needed. Remove the strap off camera in seconds if your connecting it to a tripod for long exposure to reduce camera shake from wind. I'm 6'2" I found the strap to be plenty lengthy for my stature. The price made me hesitate, but after seeing some good video reviews on line I took the plunge and purchased it. No regrets. On my overseas trip the camera was attached to me hours at a time while hiking at no point did I feel fatigue even with a somewhat heavy 70d camera body with a larger zoom lens. After a week of heavy use checked the attach loops everything is holding up so far. At no point does this item feel cheap and or flimsy. Highly recommend.

After reading a lot of reviews and trying other brands, I decided to try the Peak Design Slide strap. It's extremely well designed, well made, looks great and so convenient to use! I love that I can switch the strap from one camera body to the other in less than 30 seconds. I also love that I can have the included adapter in the tripod mount screw on the bottom of my camera with the strap on, and not need to remove the strap to slide the mount into my tripod. So, is it comfortable? Absolutely! I wore it for several hours with my Nikon D3s (full frame, pro body) and a 70-200mm lens on with no discomfort. Using the same setup & my older Black Rapid strap, I'd be sore after an hour. The design of this strap lets you easily adjust length in just a quick second, wearing it around your neck, over the shoulder or sling-style. It is, by far, my favorite strap design yet!

This is a very good strap system. My two complaints are that the part that sits on your neck is too stiff. If the "rigid" part of the strap was just the center 6" it would be fine, but it is more like 12" and that is excessive and makes it hard to roll up and stuff in a camera bag. My other complaint is that the attachments are hard to do one handed, which I usually do a lot, it is a super strong attachment and it works really well, I would just like to see it tweaked for one handed attaching/detaching. Overall the quality is very good and it is easy to slide up and down, it doesn't have quite as much range as I would really like, so for someone who is much smaller might not like this strap as it won't "shrink" up enough for a smaller frame.

I've had seat belt type straps before, that one was a speed strap. While it worked well, it wasn't comfortable for longer use. I had my concerns on this one also. The padding inserted inside the strap looked thin. It gave a look that it was no better than putting on gym socks and running down a gravel road. Thankfully I was wrong in perceiving that way. I used this on a Nikon D600 with the Nikkor 70-300mm VR lens (a hefty pairing for longer walks), for a ~5hr trek through the woods. I had no problems with this setup, no pain, no switching back a forth on the shoulders, and no holding the camera lifted slightly to lesson the weight on the shoulders. Most importantly, no giving it to the wife to carry for a bit. If not obvious, yes I'm older with not the best back on the planet. I develop upper back pain very easily. Too many years of not listening to the people that try to warn you all your life to mind your back. Anyway, I wish I bought this strap 5 straps ago, it would have saved me a nice chuck of change... The rest of the features worked as advertised if not slightly better. This is the closest I've been to that elusive 'perfect strap'. I will add before I shut-up, that straps are very personal (much like a bike seat). While this works great for me, it may not you. Such is the case for every strap on the market. For now, (other than color choices), I've nothing I would change to make it better.

Strong, light and easy to re-configure describes this strap. Every time I buy a new camera, I get one of these fantastic straps. I have had several before. They are comfortable and don't advertise the brand and model of your expensive DSLR to potential thieves. Easy to change to various bases as well

    Comfort and Ease of Use

I was looking for a aftermarket durable yet comfortable strap for my new Nikon D750 after seeing so many reviews regarding the uncomfortable Nikon straps that come with the cameras. I set out and searched every conceivable strap out there and it came down to either Peak Design or Black Rapid. I wanted something strong, light, easy adjusting, looks, versatile and ergonomically good for walking, hiking or running with. After much debate I decided on Peak Design and let me tell you that this strap has met and exceeded my expectations with one caveat. Breathability. Do to the materials used, on hot days this thing will make you sweat around your neck and shoulders. The trade off is you get a high quality seat belt tough strap that you can trust to have your expensive gear on. Unlike the Black Rapid your gear doesn't bounce around on your side or back when worn as a sling either. Ultimately if I had to choose over and over again, I would not hesitate to choose PD over Black Rapid even with the breathability issue. Hopefully they come out with a more breathable version in the future!

I've never been a fan of the camera straps that come with DSLRs… they aren't comfortable and I'm not really big on advertising what kind of gear I'm carrying. I'd gotten a Black Rapid sling strap a few months ago, and while it was an improvement over what I'd had, it still wasn't quite the right fit. So I saw this strap and decided to give it a go. What an excellent design! The strap is durable, and yet comfortable. The sliding clips make adjusting the length of the strap while you're wearing it so easy! And if for some reason you need to remove the strap, the quick release system is very easy to master. Peak Design has even incorporated a "warning" system into the cords that are attached to each side of the camera body — if they start to wear through, you will see them change from black to yellow to red. I really like that, and the fact that you can get replacements at a reasonable price. Peak Design includes four with the strap — so you already have two spare. I'd definitely recommend this strap to anyone wanting to replace the standard strap.

I really love this camera strap. It's a little expensive but but worth it. Being able to adjust it quickly and easily on the fly was the main reason I went with this one. The adjustability and quality exactly what I wanted. It looks nice too.

the camera straps that come with the camera are really basic and just do the minimal job. These feel good, I have a full frame camera and often attach a 70-200 lens. With the original straps I have to hold the camera while carrying otherwise my neck would be sore in 30min. This new strap I’ve carried my camera for a whole day and no issues. The width slows down the pressure points, also the soft and stiff padding is great, the ability to adjust the length is the best because I can move the camera around and that helps to release any pressure points which might build up. Also really cool is the quick release I don’t always want the strap on it and the ability to quickly remove it is very handy. The strap material feels nice and looks moves but I think the adjustment hooks might be plastic so I guess we’ll see over time of the hook will break easy or not. If you get sore neck or shoulders from carrying your camera then I recommend you try this strap.

This camera strap is thick and sturdy (in a good way) and feels almost like wearing a small seat belt around your neck. The clip system allows for quick transitions such as taking the strap off when needing to use a stabilization device such as a glidecam or gimbal or when needing to reposition the strap either around your neck or torso for increased comfort and/or stability.

The strap is smooth and sturdy. Used as a cross body sling, the strap easily slides along the shoulder and chest without catching your shirt. It does have silicone on one side if you use it as a shoulder sling which secures the strap from sliding off your shoulder if it was slung on one side.

I can use the strap and switch different camera bodies quickly. Easy to adjust the length. The strap is heavy duty and durable, also since it thicker strap it doesn't hurt your neck and shoulder from carrying it around all day.

The strap is excellent. I like the long length to carry over coats, or for a large body type. It is easily adjusted and seems to hold the spot quite well. It doesn't roll up on the edges like cheaper quality straps might. I also found I enjoy having several ways to attach a camera for easier carry. Having a secure yet quick detach strap with a push of a button is definately a 5 star rating for me.

I bought it for the length and size of the strap. I have a number of long straps but they are padded and bulky. this one is made of soft material fits my need for length, is easily adjusted and packs easily. I used in on my small mirrorless camera. I ended up giving to my daughter who has a larger canon and bought another one for my mirrorless and then another for my canon.
