Finally after many years I got a projector for Video gaming and Creative Photography. So how does it stack up? First off I'm glad I made sure the Native Resolution minimum was 720p. This really has always been my minimum on TV quality these days and glad I did because the projectors clarity is awesome! How's the brightness? Actually really good! I was skeptical it would be able to handle even a semi-lit room but it can handle a semi-lit room even! Of course a dark room is ideal. Fan is loud in the unit but won't over power speakers at all. Internal speakers definitely loud enough to be used as is if you are in a pinch and don't have any external speakers. Unit has good Focus and tilt rings that work very nicely! Inputs on the unit are very good. Doesn't have any direct RCA plug in without some form of conversion. Will have to use a conversion item like Retrotink if you want to play retro games on here. So where's the flaws? Well only a few and not major considering at the sale price i paid. I legit cannot complain at all from how many pros this thing has. Power cord is short. Like you will need a extension cord for sure. Aux 3.5mm jacks are really shallow and don't like to grab onto what you plug into it very easily. May recommend a cable extension for the jack some how to make it easier to plug stuff in. All in all. Highly recommended unit.

At least the picture is decent.

The good: The 720p picture is clear and (fairly color accurate) when projected straight on, the startup and shutdown times are fast, the amount of input options are useful, the stiff focus wheel keeps the projector focused. The bad: The audio lag is pretty bad, the audio randomly drops every 10 minutes or so for no reason (you'll have to turn it back up via the remote), the keystone is completely useless if you want anything to be in focus (you'll have to keep it completely parallel to the wall), the speaker quality is pretty poor, the fan is very loud but does keep the unit cool (it will also heat your room), known issues that could be easily fixed with firmware updates go untouched, you can only change the volume by remote (no volume buttons on the unit). All things considered, you can still enjoy a video game or movie with a decent picture (if you can tolerate the audio lag) for a fairly low price.

    Amazing projector

This projector is amazing for the price. It has outstanding brightness and is simple to set up and adjust. The instructions are simple diagrams with no narrative. A few explanatory paragraphs would really help. I love that it mirrors content from my phone and has the capability to connect to a Bluetooth speaker. I plug my Amazon Fire stick into one of the hdmi plugs and instantly enjoy programming on a 120 inch screen. The built in sound is a bit tinny, but after awhile I become accustomed to it. I need to figure a way to connect it to my older surround sound system. I am pleased with the product and recommend it as a first time purchase, or as a replacement for an older unit.

I was pleasantly surprised by this projector. Picture quality is really good however must be pretty dark. Great features such as Bluetooth, Wi-fi, and can stream directly from your phone to the projector but for best performance its better to directly connect. Sound is not bad but recommend external speakers. Bought it on sale, so price point was great at only $100.

This NeoPix Prime is a little bigger than NeoPix Easy, but it has smart/mirror compatibility. A little bit noisy.

Happy with my purchase, this retro projector is perfect for a bedroom. I paired it with a portable speaker to have a louder sound because the basic sound is a real weak. However not suitable for a living room because loss of sharpness of the image if the retro is moved too far from the wall. Very happy with my purchase for my use

First one we ordered had a bad internal speaker (little to no sound) but picture was sharp and clear during testing. Returned and ordered a replacement. Now the speaker works great (louder than expected) but the picture doesn’t seem to be quite as clear and sharp as the first unit’s. At least as I am testing it indoors. Not bad but from what I recall the first unit was ultra clear even for a projector. But for the money this is a decent buy.

Spent almost 2 months & countless hours researching projectors specifically with mirroring & wireless capability & accurate Lumens. Almost every current projector claims to have these capabilities but after reading countless consumer reviews I learned it is a hit or a miss + after returning 2 different units I purchased on the website that starts with an A & ends with a Zon I almost gave up. I saw this on their website & here on BestBuy's site - so I took another stab at this an bought it. It works as described - crisp picture (720P) resolution at best - easy to mirror with iPhone8 & Galaxy note 8. Sound is decent but you can add a wireless BT speaker & you are set! Just follow the instructions. iPhone is a little tricky to set up mirroring but I figured it out in about 15 mins - no wires or connectors needed. Screen throw is about 100'', with good resolution.

I looked at reviews on many LCD projectors and this one was the best value for a brand name.It was the discounted cost that made me purchase .It does what it says it can do but I found the resolution a bit out...otherwise great product.

Compact, great quality. Giving it a 4/5 stars since the sound on the speakers was not too loud for everyone to listen in the backyard. I would recommend it for movie and a picnic for sure.

    Sound Issues

Though this is a pretty good projector—good sound, more than fair image quality, not crappy, I’ve had some strange problems with it. Magically and randomly, the sound automatically lowers if the sound isn’t turned up to 30 or so. It just goes down and I have to turn it up louder than I want so it doesn’t do that. And for whatever, the sound cuts out and won’t kick back in unless I turn off the projector and wait a few second and then turn it back on. Sometimes that’s all it needs for the sound to go back to normal but I’ve experienced cutting out a handful in times within 30 mins making anything I’m watching a huge hassle. Granted I have had this projector for a year but still, it’s rather annoying. I would hope that some like a projector that’s not priced super cheaply would last more than a year. I don’t understand the cause of the sound completely going out and it’s pretty frustrating.

Good for the price but a 120inch screen looked pixelated. I also own a 1080p native version of the same which looks very good at 120inch
