I have owned several hair trimmers and this one has really impressed me. My routine has been changed and it's for the better; It comes with a variety of attachments that are very helpful such as the two attachments with dials that make them an all in one attachment. From trimming your nose hairs to getting yourself a quick hair cut, this trimmer comes with all the attachments you will need to have a clean cut at all the time. It's definitely a complete set and very great investment that will last you several years. The trimmer has a nice slick design, stainless steel and a good grip. It's also waterproof so if you need a little trim while you shower this is the one for you! Doesn't feel too heavy in my hand and its easy to maneuver around. You can stand it upright in the counter or store it in the bag it comes with. All the attachments fit nicely in the bag and it can be store anywhere without taking up to much space. I've been using it for a week and I've only charged it once so I can say the battery does last a long time. Great trimmer for all your hair/trimming needs and the price is right on point. Definitely reccomend this trimmer.

The Most Comprehensive Trimming System Available.

I've spent the last week testing the Philips Multigroom 7000. Overall I think this is the most comprehensive multi-purpose hair trimmer I have ever used.
The first thing I love about this trimmer series is that the shaver feels very premium. The size and shape are very ergonomic which makes handling the shaver in different hand positions very comfortable. Also, the battery lasts a long time. In my week of use I still haven’t had to charge it. in addition, it works in both wet and dry conditions. As for the accessories, it came with the standard square head, nose trimmer, T outliner and a precision edger. which are great for getting straight lines and cutting in hard to get to crevices. It also came with multiple hair guards to include two adjustable hair guards. All of which ensure I get the exact hair length I need in all face, head or body hair trimming situations. The only thing missing is an attachment for smooth shaving.
With all that said I love this shaver and I recommend it for anyone that wants a comprehensive trimming solution and doesn't need to do any smooth shaving.

So, this will be needing to be charged.. doesn’t have to be fully but expect at least maybe a half hour to try it out for a brief amount of time. Nonetheless I’d charge overnight once. I didn’t see an included 2-3 prong usb adapter so you’ll have to use your own or if your power strip has a usb - a port.
I do find the accessory bag to hold everything ok but seems just about common; though I wish they had something more of a padded case to store all the blade trimmers and a blade cover guard; so most likely I’ll keep the plastic molding and the box that has the placement for the blades.
Tried on the wide attachment trimmer; not too loud of a buzzing just perfect and trimmed my beard and doesn’t cut too close at all. The blade trimmers come off easy with ease.
The default main attachment trimmer does have plastic comb attachments that have adjustable dials adjust the depth of cut level, then you have fixed combs color coded gray to also use.
Slight issue though, is you can’t easily snap off the comb but the blade trimmer along with it. Then you can separate them but I don’t have long enough fingernails at the time so, I had a plastic spudger tool (for removing / detaching stuff like cables on a motherboard inside a computer) and was easily able to remove it.
So that may be a caveat and I’m actually going to have to trim down my beard sometime soon and will have to do this again.

I have different Personal Care products from Philips for a good reason; they are well made and very useful products including this all in one trimmer. Right out of the box it comes with a nice soft pouch to put everything away as well as the trimmer and all other accessories including the brush to clean it with. It did not come charged, the LED indicator was red so I just plugged it to the USB on my computer and the LED light in front flashes white while it charges and when it is fully charged the light is steady white.
I really like that I do not need anything else for trimming since it does beard, hair and body trim, so now I have a perfect goatee. Attachments also included are the ear and nose, the eyebrow guard, 2 body guards as well as fading hair guards. Best of all it is adjustable to the desired length.
It is easy to maintain, no oil required and the cleaning brush is useful to fully clean the trimmer and accessories and best of all it is shower proof so I can rinse it every time.
I like the grip of the trimmer; it is easy to use as well as the accessories.
The battery lasts a long time, five hours is plenty and the LED indicator lets me know when it is time to charge before it runs out.
I really like that the trimmer looks elegant and masculine and also that it can stand, so it takes less space while I keep the pouch in the cabinet with all the accessories so they are available when I need them. The six year warranty is a plus.
I like how quiet it is while it is working great and smoothly.
The one thing I would like is the charging to be like my Philips Sonicare toothbrush, a base that I can place it so it can charge and if it is the same one it would be even better but that is just something I would like that is all. I would like to know if I can fast charge it or not since it does not come with the adapter.
Overall it is amazing, it works great and I am happy with it.

So many applications, great battery life

The Philips Norelco 7000 series multi-groomer comes with 16 different attachments that seemingly do it all, and then some. In the box is the waterproof trimmer, USB-A charging cord (does not include wall adaptor), with 19 accessories including cleaning brush and carrying pouch. Charge is quick, the first time out of the box, it took 30 minutes to charge fully and has been used every day for the past ~10 days and still has plenty of battery.
Things that stand out about this trimmer are the easy grip handle, its comfortable to hold and maneuver for precision lines, yet grippy enough that it doesn't get dropped in the shower. The various attachments let my husband get through his thick beard but still trim crisp edges. The low battery indicator is nice, and if needed, the trimmer can charge enough in 5 minutes to get through a quick trim. When done, my husband rinses it off, puts it aside to dry, and that's all the maintenance required.
I'm not sure my husband will ever use all of the attachments, but his favorite ones are the adjustable guards that go from 1 to 3 mm (0.2 mm increments), the eye brow trimmer, and the multiple guard lengths, giving him options from 0.5 up to 16mm length. The body trim guards are 3 mm and 5 mm, and quickly cut through hair without getting bogged down or tangled. For thick beards the trimmer does a great job of having enough power to cut through thick beards without pulling or having to slow way down.
Overall, this is a great trimmer, it has more attachments and trim options than most will ever need.

Best bang for your dollar. It's quiet, comes with a ton of Combs, comfortable in your hand, holds a charge for a long time and most of all it cuts great. This fit all my criteria and exceeded my expectations. It even worked well on sensitive body areas. Of course don't expect a razor smooth finish as that doesn't happen with any of these. But it does get close.
I have thick, course and stubborn facial hair that alot of electric razors struggle with. This one actually cut it down and close quick without irritation. The only negative is the lack of power supply. Not a big issue since most of us have extra USB bricks but I despise this new thing companies are doing by not including them.

This Norelco 7000 is a perfect multi-groom device for the face, head, and body. It has a dual-cut blade that is great for maximum precision grooming and functions as a self-sharpening. The stainless steel handle feels good on your hand, with rubber on the grip end. The primary metal trimmer attachment works for face and body trimming needs. For head trimming, it comes with an extra wide trimming attachment to help capture more hair for each stroke. The kit has a quarter-inch steel precision trimmer attachment for detailed styles and type laces. All the plastic guards are strong and don’t bend easily to ensure safety and even trim every time. I like cleaning this multi-groom because the trimmer and all the attachments are faucet washable. Additional accessories include the nose and ear trimmer, a small cleaning brush, a storage bag, and a USB-A charging cable. The kit does not include the charging adapter, but most homes have at least one from other devices or mobile phones. The lithium-ion battery is good since it gives about five (5) hours of cordless use. The trimmer can’t be used while it is plugged in (charging). This Norelco multi-groom is impressive, with premium quality and precision trimming. The blades are sharp, and I can feel them because it trims smoothly. Overall, this multi-groom is simple to use, quality made, and does a great job at trimming.

Great Solid Shaver for various Grooming.

I have always wanted to buy a similar product. But just never took the plunge.
I am glad I got this product.
I have been a Norelco products since a teen. I still have my original plug in close shaver that I have used it during COVID because my battery Norelco died and I was too lazy to buy another one.
Anyway enough about Norelco's long standing workmanship. Back to this product.
Super easy to use. Plug directly into the outlet no DC special converter and let it charge up for a few hours and I was up and running...
Feel of the shaver is balanced. It has a nice weight to it.
Stainless still is nice ... The fact that you can get this thing wet is even better. No need to worry about frying it. Also no need to oil it either.
It comes with TONs of spacers. For face and other body parts. Which is great. Nose hair/ear hair. T blade. Small blade. Super easy to change out the blade options...
I use straight down to the blade for my mustache and chin beard.
Not bad. It took it down nice and close. So pretty good.
I am not going to describe other body area shaving. It does the job....
Clean up was a cinch. Run water and done.
Storage is easy. Comes with pouch.
Base on all the pros and zero cons. I would highly recommend this grooming product.
Nice Job Norelco.

As someone who is completely new to the Philips Norelco Multigroom line, I must say I'm impressed with the overall feel and construction of the product and its accessories.
The MG7910/49 7000 series model is a great sweet spot between performance and value.
You get:
- A hair clipping plate with 4 hair combs + 2 fade combs.
- A standard trimmer plate + 3mm and 5mm comb for body hair.
- Multiple attachments for beard, eyebrows, and a dedicated nose/ear hair trimmer.
The only thing really missing from the upgraded 9000 series is the standard shave bar, and precision body blade/comb in terms of attachments.
I personally do not need the standard shave trimmer as I use a safety blade for most of my face shaving needs.
Other than that, the 7000 series has a 5 hour battery and a carrying pouch opposed to a 6 hour battery and hard-shell case on the 9000 series.
In use:
I spent a good amount of time messing with all the attachments I could use. I don't really grow a beard so that's more or less excluded for me.
The body trimmer/guards work better than expected, but the hair has a tendency to get stuck in the motor area and is really difficult to clean out. The product advertises "maintenance free", but this isn't entirely true.. I personally wouldn't dare to let the shaver clog up after long use.
I also touched up my my hair with a 9mm guard and hair plate, which is the closest thing to a size #3 (9.5mm). Pretty amazed how well it did, considering the longevity and wireless factor.
Overall.. It's a very solid product and I would certainly recommend it to family and friends who need a tool beyond a standard razor blade.

Reviewing an electric razor isn’t the easiest thing to do as across the board, folks have different uses for their razor. Note that for the following review, I’ll focus on facial hair as I wasn’t about to shave my head for this and my use a separate tool for body grooming.
Currently I use a Philips Norelco 3000 that I’ve had since 2018 and am using as a comparison point for this review.
Overall, this Philips Norelco Multigroom left a bit to be desired in the facial hair department, as it’s very frustrating to get a close shave.
Currently, I’m in my 30s and grow my hair at a moderate pace, but consider myself a bit of a metrosexual, so upkeep is key. I trim my hair once a week, and have a short beard/stubble for days before trimming again.
As for the new trimmer, out of the box, the packaging is baseline, nothing that sticks out one way or the other. You get the trimmer, a charging cord, a carrying bag and many attachments. The trimmer, out of the box, isn’t charged so I had to charge a bit before use. Not the end of the world, nor am I saying it’s the norm, but that’s what I experienced. The carrying bag is quite smooth, I like the texture of it but it seemed very thin, so I speculate on what it will be like in the long run, but as of now, it’s no issue.
They color code the attachments based upon what they’re used for (body, hair, and facial hair) which I like. The actual electric razor itself is very lite, while seemingly sturdy, and I liked the grip.
I used the thin, detailing attachment to ensure that I don’t have a unibrow and carefully sculpt my sideburns. This was a great feature and attachment that I’ll plan to use in the future.
I also have continued to use the nose/ear hair trimmer, and plan to do so as this has been the most comfortable and well designed nose hair trimmer I’ve come across. Others don’t cut at the right length and leave your nose itchy. While this does shorten the hairs (obviously), I’ve never had an issue with how I feel afterwards.
As for the facial hair trimmer, you’re able to pick your settings on a dial from 1-5 based upon how much you want trimmed. On my prior shaver, I usually use a 1 as it’s the closest shave, so I was delighted to see I’d have the same option with this new razor. Upon starting to shave, I didn’t feel like I was getting as close as normal. Due to that issue, I found myself tracing back over my beard in many different patters to get a closer shave, but barely made a dent. Either way, since the measurements should be the same, I thought that I maybe didn’t recall how close my normal shave was an moved on.
Coincidentally shaving came up at work and I shared with colleagues about my frustrations with my new razor. My coworker shared a similar issue, that he’d got a new razor and struggled to get a close shave, even on the lowest setting. After some dialogue, and comparing pictures, we found out that he uses the same razor! So… I felt a bit more at peace knowing this was not my issue at all, and a major problem with this razor for those who are looking for a tight five o’clock shadow look.
The next week, I shaved half my face on a “1” with this new razor and a “1” on my old razor, both Philips Norelco, and could even clearer see the difference in cut. Unfortunately no matter how I slice it, I can’t get a close enough shave with this.
Pictures are attached of my results but in closing, know that they’re off to a good start with many attachments, a light weight, quick charging razor with many attachments, but unfortunately for those (like many) who like a quick, close shave to stubble, this is a big miss.

Well made, compact for a fine, quick grooming

Not having a beard, I wasn't able to fully test out the myriad of applications of this compact, rechargeable groomer. However, having previously used prior appliances, I can definitely say that this is a definite notch above of the former contenders that I have used.
This is quite well constructed, has a premium feel to it. It is recharged using a USB cable (included) without burdening you with yet one more outlet charging brick, which I already have a drawer full. I applaud manufacturers for not including wall outlet chargers, that just add a bit more electronic waste to the landfill. There is a fabric drawstring stowage bag included that groups all the accessories together for travel or stowage in the cabinet.
This model (the middle level of the 3 that Philips is offering) comes with a variety of attachments that is a bit daunting at first glance, but once you use it a time or two, you gain a familiarity with them, and there is some color coding (black, dark grey, light grey) that groups them to the clipper head that goes with the guards. Three clipper heads (extra wide, normal, and precision) are easily interchanged with a secure, but not stiff or difficult to exchange, finger lift. Even if you had a degree of hand arthritis, it should be easily accomplished.
My biggest complaint was that the markings for the series of guards is almost impossible to read. It is stamped on the base of the guard (see photos) that requires the right angle of light reflecting off the matte versus shiny surface to read it. And magnification is a big help, but using in the shower (which is actually encouraged in the instructions) means that probably you don't have your glasses on, and no magnifying glass there in the shower stall with you. My simple solution was to use a Sharpie to mark the size or usage on the bottom of the guard. That works very well for the grey guards, and luckily there are only a few black guards, where the Sharpie would be invisible on the black plastic.
In the past, using (for example) a nose hair trimmer that ran on a single AA cell was a one-trick device that was certainly better (and safer) than trying to use pointy tipped scissors. But even the Panasonic, "wet/dry" model really sat in the drawer, until the alkaline battery leaked and ruined it.
There are eyebrow trimmer guards, which decreases the bush-iness without giving you the scalped spots, which is a perfect result, in about 10 seconds. This is far superior to using the “sideburn trimmers” that are a common addition to electric razors, which excel only at a straight vertically aimed margin, not the desired effect for one’s eyebrows.
The body hair trimmers worked fine, not a particularly difficult task, for who really sees the margins. But avoiding the prickly stubble is a definite plus.
All in all, a fine addition at a reasonable price to one’s grooming armamentarium.
