just recently used this on my downstairs area. Prior to this I was very cautious of every razor/clipper I’ve used. This, however, managed to gain my trust when I see I’m getting no nicks or bumps, especially on the *extra fragile* parts of skin

Ditch the Nicks & Cuts with this Intimate Groomer

I’m sure you’ve heard of an intimate groomer in the past couple of years in either an advertisement or you might have even seen these in the store. Philips Norelco has introduced an affordable, portable, lightweight intimate groomer that does the job without the annoying nicks or cuts that you can pick up with regular trimmers. They have covered all the necessities such as portability, the ability to shave in the shower (fully waterproof), and a brush guard that gives you one more length option. I’ve tested this groomer out down south, also in the armpits, and even shaved some unsightly hair growing on the outside of my arms. My verdict: It gets the job done much better than any traditional electric razor and protects your skin at the same time. It’s quick and easy to use, clean, and charge. I always get a little nervous shaving those intimate areas and although I was careful with it during shaving, I felt like they designed this shaver with that in mind. I can also tell you I didn’t know I needed this groomer until I tried it. What’s in the Box: It comes with the intimate groomer, a comb guard if you don’t want a close shave, a USB-A charging cable, and a blade protector to place on it when it’s not in use. Note: You will need a USB-A charging block or a USB-A input to plug into for charging. The instructions are very good. In this day and age, we typically don’t get many instructions and find ourselves watching Youtube videos or searching for more information. The instructions for the Philips Intimate groomer are detailed and provide just about everything you need to know. Build: This trimmer is built to be portable. It’s surprisingly light with a hard plastic build. It’s about 5 ounces in weight and around 8 inches in length. The blade is stainless steel, and it can be easily rinsed with water to clean. The manufacturer recommends a new blade every 4 months if used twice a week. I see myself only using this unit about once a week so maybe I can get a full 8 months of use, unless my wife decides she’s using it too : ) Even though blades eventually need to be replaced, I think it’s well worth the cost considering you should have a sharp blade for shaving these areas. Performance: I shaved the armpits in less than 5 minutes. The shave was close and easy. I shaved the intimate area in about 15 minutes cautiously, without any cuts, nicks or razor burn. If you have really fine hair you might have to slow down to make sure you’re getting a clean shave. There’s a comb you can attach if you want to leave a little hair. I can tell you with confidence that even with the exposed blade, it’s a safe shave. This unit is fully waterproof so you can use it in the shower. Run time is about 30 minutes so you will have to plug it in after a couple of shaves. I would recommend this groomer to anyone due to its portability, affordability, and solid performance. It does its job and I believe it’s a necessary tool for everyone’s bathroom. In my opinion, it makes those bathroom tasks a lot more convenient. You will find yourself shaving more when it’s this easy. I’m giving it 4 stars because it does the job but I would like a couple more features, such as a battery indicator, shorter charge time, and maybe a couple more brush guard sizes. Pros: *Lightweight *Clean and safe shave, much better than a traditional electric *Waterproof for the shower *Easy to clean *Brush guard to leave hair *Instructions are very detailed and thorough Cons: *8 Hour charge time (You probably won't be using more than once or twice a week so this isn't really a problem for me) *Fine hair needs a little more work (I had to make a couple passes on the really fine hair) *Blade needs to be replaced about every 4 months (depending on use) and blades are about half the price of the shaver *No battery charge indicator (I would recommend using it twice and then plugging it in to keep it charged, approximately 30 minutes of use)

Perfect waterproof trimmer for intimate areas!

Quick Overview ================================= Philips released a OneBlade for shaving and stubble a few years ago and now this OneBlade Intimate is more focused on just the *ahem* intimate areas. It looks pretty much the same as the well-reviewed OneBlade 360 shaver, but with just a few less accessories. Overall build ================================= This is a slim, sleek, white gadget that's just a bit shorter than an electric toothbrush and about as big around. It comes with a proprietary USB-A charging cable that connects to the bottom of the OneBlade and does a full charge in about 8 hours. As it's charging, it was easy to follow the pictorial setup instructions which included snapping in the blade/head, popping off the skin guard, and snapping on the 3mm guard. Clearly labeled on the box, this is for your intimiate or "pubic" regions. Some diagrams also show the ideal shaving method including holding the shaver parallel to your skin when using the 3mm guard, or perpendicular, with the blade flat against your skin when using it with just the slim skin protector. Lastly, the instructions show that you can easily rinse it off with water. Performance ================================= Without getting too detailed, this is a great trimmer. What most people might attempt with an actual razor blade or scissors, is much easier and safer to do with this OneBlade Intimate! There's no tugging or pulling since the blades cut quickly and effectively. If hairs are going multiple directions, it may require another pass, but there was no doubt that this is much easier to use and trims just as closely as most people would need. Note - it's not a shaver for close/clean shaves. For that, you will need a razor. But for a really short shave for sensitive areas, it's perfect. It's completely waterproof and rinsing it out to clean it couldn't be easier. Want to use it to trim your beard or sideburns as well? Sure, go ahead! The Philips OneBlade 360 (their face/body focused product) was really well-reviewed and is basically the same thing with multiple guards for different trim lengths. Conclusion ================================= It's not often you come across products that actually save you time and hassle at an affordable price, but this is definitely one of them. It makes your intimate shaving routine quick, easy, and safe with no worries and no messy clean up. If you're using razor blades or scissors "down there", definitely check this thing out!

Handy trimmer for grass that grows in the shadows

The OneBlade Intimate trimmer is a convenient and safe tool for pruning the shrubs, if you get my meaning. It’s not really for the face, the legs or the typical areas, but will work just fine there, too. The main things it has going for it are an easy to rechargeable battery via USB, it’s comfortable and safe to use on sensitive areas, and has a great warranty. Highlights: * Thin and comfortable to hold. * Charges via standard USB-A. * Includes a Body Comb and Blade Cover. * Not rubberized so is easier to clean and will last longer before getting gummy. * 100% waterproof. * Uses standard OneBlade blades. Room for Improvement: * NiMH battery is not as powerful and light as the more common Lithium Ion. * Needs a proprietary charging cable. * Recharging takes up to 8 hours for 30 minutes of use. * Body Comb is one fixed length. Setup: This trimmer charges via standard USB. It comes with a proprietary cable - one end plugs into the end of the trimmer and the other end into a standard USB-A charger. There’s a light on the handle when the trimmer is plugged in correctly, but this light does not indicate charging status- just that it’s plugged in. The instructions say to leave it plugged in for about 8 hours and the light will remain on but it will be done charging. That 8 hours of power will give you up to 30 minutes of use. The OneBlade included in the box needs to be snapped on top of the trimmer before use. It has the Skinshield (white part) pre-installed. Note that if you want to use the provided Body Comb or Blade Cover, you have to pop off that white Skinshield first. Usage: For trimming the more sensitive areas, this trimmer does the job quickly and easily. It’s comfortable to hold and navigate around, and the textured handle is easy to grip with wet hands. I’d prefer that it had a light at the end to see in the deep dark crevices, but that’s nothing that a well-lit room couldn’t help. Just tap the power button, slide it around the garden and then tap the power button when done. The main thing to keep in mind is that whatever area you’re trimming, that the skin is pulled tight. Do that and you shouldn’t get nicked. The instructions get into gory detail about what to hold and how to hold it, but the gist is there. When you’re done trimming, you can blow out the clippings and rinse the whole thing in the sink if necessary. They do ask that you don’t tap the blade on the sink, though, as it could damage the OneBlade. Similar products have a rubberized coating that may seem nice, but they inevitably turn gooey after a while. That, and the rubberized coatings are more difficult to keep clean. I much prefer the harder textured plastic of this trimmer. Plus, it uses standard OneBlade blade refills. Overall: A pretty good value for the price. It works well and is less messy than a razor and cream. I’m not completely sold on the proprietary USB cable, but at least you can use a standard USB brick to charge it up (not provided). There’s also a great 2-year warranty if anything goes wrong.

--- SETUP --- The Oneblad Intimate Groomer is a single unit with an attachable blade guard. It comes with a USB-A type charger (no block included). Mine arrived with enough charge for immediate use. --- FEATURES --- IPX7 certification (waterproof for 1m deep for 30 min), 30 minutes on a single charge, blade replacement every 4 months, dual direction shave. --- EXPECTATIONS and PERFORMANCE --- I have attempted a cleaner look down south, but most certainly didn’t look forward to the next shave. I honestly was skeptical about this blade, but Oneblade truly is the painless experience that you are looking for to shave in sensitive areas. The recommendation is to lay the blade with guard flat and you can shave up and down, as either side of the blade is sharp enough to cut. The more I realized that it was a painless experience, the more comfortable I felt shaving. At one point, I accidentally pressed a bit too hard and dug into my own skin. Even doing that, I experience no cuts and no pain. My first shaving experience with this groomer was foam and creamless. It was also a dry shave, as I wanted to make sure it was truly painless without any elements. It passed that test with flying colors. Cleaning after a dry shave was a breeze. I just rinsed it with water and blew some air and it was good as new. However, seeing as how this groomer is waterproof, I continue to use it now in the shower. As long as your shower use is less than 30 minutes, your groomer will be fine and your shaving needs will be met with less cleanup. I like using the comb guard to leave a little hair. This prevents the scratchy feeling of a close shave and makes for a more comfortable feeling while walking. The two things about this purchase that you should be aware of is that it doesn’t include a travel case. This isn’t something I will knock it down for, but I thought I would mention it, as its size is great for portability. Additionally, a block for the charging cable isn’t included either. Most of us have plenty of USB-A connectors in our home by now, but if you don’t, then you might have to make an additional purchase. --- APPROVAL --- The Oneblade Intimate Groomer is a truly painless experience no matter where you are shaving. Being unisex, anyone seeking to shave intimate areas of their body should definitely get one.

As a regular user of Philips Norelco OneBlade trimmers, I found the OneBlade Trim and Shave for grooming sensitive areas to be an excellent addition. The SkinProtect blade, with its rounded edges and tip protector, is specifically designed for safety and comfort, ensuring a close shave without the risk of nicks and cuts in sensitive areas like the groin and armpits. It also includes a 3mm body comb for trimming without shaving too closely, which helps prevent irritation. What I particularly appreciate is how effectively it handles both short and long hair, typically needing just one pass. The blades allowed me to maintain my grooming routine efficiently, without concerns about skin damage. It's great for both wet and dry use. The trimmer's battery lasts about 30 minutes, sufficient for multiple grooming sessions, and it took about 8 hours to fully recharge. Based on my experience with the OneBlade, I expect this SkinProtect blade to last at least four months with two shaves or trims per week Given the safety and comfort it offers at a low cost, owning it is a no-brainer.

    One blade for sensitive areas

Trying out the one blade system when it first came out, I was hopeful but skeptical. Now, many years later, the one blade system is the only way I shave my face. When I saw they had a new addition for body hair and sensitive areas, I knew I had to get it. Like the face shavers it uses the same blade system that Philips says will last up to four months. And I can say without a doubt if comes pretty close to that claim. I know with my one blade face shavers that 3 months might be the earliest I replace them and even then I could probably go longer. The body trimmer comes with one blade, two different guards and a charge cable. Using it in sensitive areas even with the smallest guard, I never got any nicks or cuts. Phillips says the battery will last about 30 minutes and is fully waterproof. I used to exclusively use regular razors when I shaved as I never really cared for electric ones. The Phillips one blade changed all that as it’s been my go to for my face ever since using it. If you’re on the fence about electric shavers, try the one blade system.

Intimate shaver that is made well, and small.

I’m a big fan of the OneBlade products from Philips. I currently use a OneBlade beard trimmer/shaver as my go to for my beard and facial hair. As long as they never re-invent the wheel I will probably keep purchasing them until my trip on this floating space rock is over. This Intimate OneBlade electric shaver is designed for pubic grooming. It’s a nice addition to your grooming product arsenal. Personally, I will give this to my wife to use, and I will explain why shortly. First, let’s talk about the shaver and all the pros and cons. The shaver comes with a shaver body, USB charging cable, SkinProtect blade, and body comb. It does not come with a charging adapter, but honestly, who doesn’t have one of those in every room of their house? It boasts a 30 minute run time but I have not used it enough to know if that’s accurate. It is 100% waterproof, notice I didn’t say water-resistant. That is an awesome feature. In fact that’s one thing I love about my other One Blade shaver, although not waterproof, I can rinse off the blade and comb. This intimate shaver comes with a comb in case you don't want to shave too close. You have to remove the white plastic blade protector to get the comb on the blade, which can be cumbersome for people with bigger fingers. This shaver works great but here’s my hangup and why I’m reserving this for my wife to use. It’s small, I dropped it 3 times when using it. Feels like it would be better suited for smaller hands. The only difference between this shaver and my OneBlade beard shaver is the little white skinprotect blade covering. (see photo). I tried the skin protectector plastic piece on my beard shaver and it fits just fine. After all it is the exact same blade system. I can essentially put it on my beard shaver and have the same thing only bigger. Every time I dropped the intimate shaver, this white plastic blade guard popped off. I’m going to research and see if Philips sells this blade guard separate. If you’re the type of person that would do your pubic grooming in the shower, then stick with the Intimate OneBlade as it’s fully waterproof. Philips makes a great product here and I would recommend it as it works great for what it’s designed for. Just not for me.

Works very good. Wife is not super impressed and I find it leaves a painful texture in intimate areas when the clothes rub against it. It works much better for touching up my neck and face, I get a very bare skin shave on the face with the razor. YOU WILL NEED TO CHANGE THE BLADE.. just not often
