The Philips Norelco Shaver 3600 is a versatile grooming companion that promises a close shave and convenient features. After using it for several days, here’s my take: It is efficient in shaving: The 3600 delivers a smooth and consistent shave. The rotary blades adapt well to facial contours, ensuring a close trim without irritation. The Pop-Up Trimmer is a plus: The built-in trimmer is handy for shaping sideburns, mustaches, and maintaining a neat appearance. It is Easy to clean,The detachable shaving head is a breeze to clean. Rinse it under running water, and you’re good to go. The Battery Life: A full charge lasts around 60 minutes, which translates to several shaves. And the LEDs indicates how well it is charged and when to recharge before it runs out of juice. As for the Skin Sensitivity,  Like any and all grooming product, individual experiences may be different. I like how it shaves and left my skin feeling soft, did not feel any discomfort at all. So, it depends on type of skin each has.  Overall: The Philips Norelco Shaver 3600 strikes a balance between performance and convenience. If you’re looking an everyday shaver that gets the job done without fuss, this one’s worth a try. Remember to tailor your choice based on your unique needs and preferences. I would have liked for the shaver to be able to stand up but that is the only thing I would want, besides this, I like it very much.

[PROS] - Long Battery/ Quick : I won't ever need 60 minutes worth of battery life from a shaver. However, I decided to put the specifications to the test. To my surprise, the groomer stayed powered on for 57 minutes before giving out. Nice! - Pop-up trimmer: The additional trimmer is a big bonus. The social events and activities prior the next haircut appointment can make for some of the roughest times. Fortunately, I'm able to do a quick touchup prior to these gathering so that pictures can come out better. - Decent precision: I wasn't amazed at the cut detail, but found myself highly satisfied with the results. I would definitely recommend doing a wet shave for the best results. - Cover and Case Inclusion: For some this is minor, but I'm happy that I'm able to conveniently store this shaver. As I get older, I find that I have a healthy accumulation of bathroom and toiletry items. It's in my best interest to organize and adequately store these items so they don't get lost or damaged. [CONS] - Proprietary Cable: I'm not a fan having to use special cables to charge up my device. It makes it a hassle when traveling because I have to pack an additional cord and ensure that I don't lose the original. - Lack of stand: A stand is not necessary, but it would make storing the groomer more convenient in some cases. I understand that accessories included for these type of products are based for price and level of features so I'm not surprised that it was unincluded. [CONCLUSION] With the Norelco 3600, it's pretty clear that this is not an entry-level, run-of-the-mill shaver. It offers a pleasant grooming experience that can be used in a pinch or as a weekly shaver.

    Saving Me Time Everyday!

The Philips Norelco 3600 is an excellent shaver and it has transformed how I shave everyday. I am saving time, money and I am enjoying my new morning routine. Adjustment period - I have been using the shaver for about a week and have used it every morning since. I have used electric shavers before and I just never really gave them the time to allow my face to adjust. It does take time to adjust and you have to be patience. The first day my face felt great, day 2 - my neck started to get irritated and this is where I have given up in the past and went back to my classic razor. My face felt fin though and I kept with it. By day 5 my neck was no longer irritated and my shave started to feel better throughout. Now I am at a week and it feels close to my razor shave. Per Philips it takes 21 days to adjust to an electric razor and after also completing some online research they state it takes 2-3 weeks. After a week of use I agree with these statements as my shave has only gotten better with time. The shaver has really saved me time every morning. Prior, I was shaving in the shower every morning with a traditional razor and shaving cream which always took me time. Now I shave right when I wake up with this electric razor and then jump in the shower. I swear it feels like it has save me 10+mins of time. Every minute counts when you have a child under 1 in the morning. Clean up is easy and especially since this shaver is water ready. I open up the top section tap out my clippings into the sink then run hot water over the top of the blades and inside. I often will close the blade lid and turn on the shaver and run under hot water to help. Once done, I make sure the top is open and let it air dry. Once I take a shower, I will feel for any missed spots because I like and need a perfect shave. If I do feel anything I will run the shaver again after the shower. Philips states you will get 20 shaves in one fully battery charge. I have shaved with it about 10 times (in 1 week) and I'm still at the 2nd battery life light (out of 3). I have a feeling I will be able to get even more shaves in than Philips suggests. Two things I wish or would change about this razor is the included travel bag. It's so cheap and thin it pretty much pointless to use. A nice form fitting leather or leatherette case would be better. I also like how they switched the charging cable to usb type A (the end for the cord is still Philips specific plug); however, I wish it came with a usb charging brick. Because so many devices don't come with their own now I have to buy and abundance of them. It is great that the cord is usb though cause when you travel you can rely on being able to plug it in to charge anywhere. I honestly love this electric shaver and to be honest I already want to upgrade to their higher models. I think this is a great model; however, so I will tell my wife as a gift idea to get me a 9000 or 7000 series model. I will also know if I still love it by the end of the year. Time is really all you need to adjust and you will start enjoying an electric shave.

The Philips Norelco Ultimate Travel Shaver 3600

Philips Norelco manufactures rechargeable electric shavers that are arguably the highest quality & produce the closest shave in the industry. Their latest offering is the Shaver 3600, a rechargeable wet & dry electric shaver with pop-up trimmer & storage pouch. i use this hand held marvel as a travel shaver because it is much lighter than previous Philips Norelco shavers, weighing a meager 0.41 pounds. Unlike the heavier models, the Shaver 3600 also includes a storage pouch, perfect to throw in your backpack or travel bag. Further, no large / heavy charger is required, as before, because the Shaver 3600 includes a USB A cable that will plug into any iOS or Android power pack that you most likely already own. A pop-up trimmer is activated with the flick of your thumb. It works great for trimming your mustache or beard when you are away; requiring no second razor to carry. A plastic guard securely fastens to the razor, protecting the blades from damage & retaining any loose trimmed hair particles away from your clothes as you travel. The Shaver 3600 gave me the identical smooth shave to which I am accustomed from my favorite razor: the Philips Norelco Shaver S9000 Prestige, and at a fraction of the price. With it's delightful-to-hold curved body, lightweight design & storage pouch, the Shaver 3600 earns my highest recommendation.

    Mature Technology for Facial Hair

The handheld electrical battery shaver market has matured to the point it’s mostly an afterthought to most. Gone are the days these things were a fabulous piece of luxury tech and cost $300 as the perfect Fathers Day present with impressive gadgets made of tin and aluminum foil and body. This 3600 shaver model features 5D pivot and flex heads that conform and glide over your face as you shave. It can also be used wet or dry with gel and shave creams, although I have been using it dry and haven’t had any irritation. After using it a few days I really have no complaints about performance and cut quality, which obviously isn’t quite as good as a disposable or straight razor. For me this is perfect for keeping in the car or even in my home office for a quick cleanup before zoom calls or while driving to work. I like to shave in the shower but now that I’m older with kids and mornings are rushed, I haven’t been showering in the morning and dry shaving with a disposable razor isn’t great feeling and doesn’t have the same results without shave cream. The 3600 does great in this regard as I can do a quick shave in the morning that is better than a dry razor can do. The only negatives and reason I took off a star is for the following: 1. Phillips provides a proprietary charging cable that still needs usb-a source or wall wart to charge. Why not just use usb-c instead? Now I have an extra cable that is orientation dependent I need to worry about losing? That’s really annoying. 2. Replacement heads sh30 cost $25, so it’s not really that much cheaper than disposable razors if you replace the heads every 12 months as recommended. 3. The body and feel of the shaver is pretty cheap feeling as mentioned, a combo of mostly rubbery plastic and a far cry from the metal body units of the past. You’re not going to impress anyone with this as a gift that’s for sure. It gets the job done but otherwise this 3600 like most electric shavers nowadays is pretty unremarkable.

Have had for about 2 months and it provides a good shave and works well in either wet or dry conditions. Cleans very easily, and only negative I can provide is that it is not a really close shave.

Philips Norelco has a cordless electric shaver that has been available for some time now - the 3600. The box includes the shaver, plastic cap for the blades area, small carrying zippable pouch, USB-to-proprietary charging cable, and quick user guide/paperwork. The shaver comes with a manufacturer's 2-year warranty and a 45-day money-back guarantee. PROS: ----------- * Good grip, hard to slip out of hand * The blades cover also covers up the button which opens the top so you don't accidentally open it and have hair going everywhere, especially in the travel pouch. * Good power for most jobs. It can cut coarse hair; however, the blades may need to be changed out more frequently than the 12-months Norelco recommends, depending on use and hair coarseness. * The sideburns shaver worked fine without any worry if cutting the skin. * It's not too loud - normal decibel range for a cordless shaver. * The battery display is easy to read. * The carrying case is really a must-have, and I'm glad one was included. CONS: ----------- * No power adapter (wall charger) is provided. Most people have a charger; however, many manufacturers are making this assumption, meaning we have to continually purchase new wall chargers for each device we have because we can't rotate a wall charger to everything. * The proprietary cable is a bit of a headache. Everything uses USB-C now... it would have been great to be able to charge the shaver with a basic USB-C connection instead of having another Norelco-only cable. This may have been done to help prevent the charging port from getting damaged by accident. The proprietary end only fits one way. I don't know why it couldn't have been made to fit either way. * No cleaning brush is provided. If you want to dump out the hair without water, a small brush would be a great tool to have. OTHER OBSERVATIONS: ----------- * The charging cord is 3 feet in length CONCLUSION: ===================== I would still love to have a shaver than can be plugged in while shaving, but those don't appear to exist much anymore. If the battery dies on you while shaving, then that's a problem if you need it done quickly. It can get a quick charge in 5 minutes; however, eventually, the battery won't give you those numbers as it deteriorates over time. This would extend the life of the shaver for the consumer if the battery isn't really needed at its "end life". The shaver overall is great. I'd want to have a power adapter and brush for cleaning too though. Then the package would be complete, especially at this price point. Good job Philips Norelco.

There's not really too much about this shaver that's "special" I don't think. It's pretty much your standard fare wet/dry shaver. There's no special cleaning stand or battery powered charging case with this one but that still doesn't mean it's not good. I've used a number of shavers in my time and this is one is pretty decent. I have a more elaborate shaver I use at home however it's not really best for travel. I can travel with it but the case for it is a bit more bulky than I'd like. This one, however, it well suited for travel as it's pretty much just the shaver. You get the shaver, charging cord as well as a small, nylon travel pouch with this set. Everything fits in pretty nicely there and it's quite light as well. As far as performance goes, it's decent. I have fairly thin facial hair and, even so, I had to do multiple passes to get all the stubble shaven away. For light, thin facial hair this works OK but if you have thicker facial hair then this might not be what you want.

My husband has shaved for years with shaving cream and a razor. Decided to get him an electric one. Not knowing much about them I did some research and decided on a mid priced shaver to start with to see if he would even like it. He absolutely loves it. It does a reasonable job on his stubble and he likes that he can walk around and accomplish simple tasks or his favorite thing, sit and watch TV. Charges quick, design is easy to hold snf handle, feels solid in the hand, not overly loud, keeps a charge quite a while. I can't imagine how the higher priced ones could do much better than this one. A happy hubby = happy wife.

Got it for my Dad, but he still liked his old 20 year old Philips Norelco shaver better. He said this one was a bit weak compared to the one he had. My dad has very thick and strong facial hair but if the user has thinner hair it may work for him.

I've been using electric shavers for 50 years and this is the BEST I've owned! It cuts without pulling; it's very quiet; it's fully charged in an hour; it cleans by running under the water; it has a built-in trimmer. I own more expensive shavers, but none of them work as well as this one.
