I had this Pioneer unit and a backup camera (Pioneer ND-BC8, SKU 4583927) installed by the Geek Squad staff on a 2006 Toyota RAV4 with Base Audio and no steering wheel radio controls. Installation went smoothly and it took about 3.5 hours. In order to install this Pioneer unit, I had to purchase a wiring harness (SKU: 677379) and the dash kit (SKU: 5997241). The radio works great, CDs and m3s play flawlessly, and Bluetooth connectivity is good; I have noticed that it does not connect automatically (I leave my cell phone's Bluetooth on) when I start the car. For safety reasons, DVDs only play when the car is parked. The only reason I took away one star is because the unit does not have the parking assist lines (see the pictures). Lastly, I purchased this unit in "Open-Box Excellent" condition, which saved me about $25.

I was looking for a touch screen radio that had hands free phone and supports a backup camera. This radio does a good job of both. I have a large amount of music on a flash drive. This radio identifies the song & artist when using the flash drive.

When paired with the PAC RP4-FD11 Interface and Harness this was a super easy install. Just connect the head unit harness to the RP4-FD11 harness, set the interface switch to 7 (for Pioneer) and swap the radios... it was that easy.

This head unit has everything one could want in a head unit! You'd expect an $800-$900 price tag but nope!

This stereo sounds great and the Bluetooth hookup is outstanding. Easy to use controls, a remote control comes with it which I don’t use but I am assuming there could be a time when you may want to?? Purchased this to replace a Ford Factory stereo in my F-250 and it fit almost perfectly.

I was extremely hesitant at buying this radio for the simple fact of how cheap the price was. But after using it for the last couple of months I'm more than satisfied with it. There's way for features and adjustments on it than I would have imagined. Actually sounds better than the 7 year old Alpine it replaced. The back up cam feature works as great as my factory cam does on my other vehicles. The Bluetooth Mic works awesome and is clearer than I would have expected.

The Radio was much better than expected for its price.. Sound quality is excellent and I have my amp hooked to it now and even better.. Also the backup camera works nice with a large viewing area and bluetooth works excellent with my Iphone X Im totally happy with this unit..

This stereo rocks. It plays all of my music files whether that's android, usb, or bluetooth and I can stream my Google Play Music through bluetooth. It has a builtin crossover and delivers 14 rms. It sounds incredible and I self-installed it and the speakers in a single evening. If you're in it for the dvd player you may want to upgrade some. The box says 800x440 res but the best I've gotten it to do was 720x400. Still a decent picture though and it'll slideshow your jpg's.

This is the 2nd purchase of this exact model Pioneer Stereo. I bought one for my son for graduation along with a subwoofer. My daughter told me that her Factory Stereo wouldn't play very loud in her car. It was her birthday so I decided to have this Pioneer Stereo installed in her car. What a difference. Her stereo is very loud now and she's more than happy. It comes with all the features you would expect from a higher end car stereo. Good to see that Pioneer is making a come back in their audio products. I highly recommend this stereo as an entry level stereo. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

Good clear sound, works with my steering wheel controls. Sounds great! EQ makes custom sound great. Bluetooth works great, hands free telephone sounds great. It's just an Awesome Receiver.

What an excellent stereo! Too many good things to say about it as this has probably been the best stereo that I have ever had in any of my rides. I would definitely recommend as the sound quality range ad output is excellent and the goodies and preloaded features it comes with are great. Try it out for yourself as you will not be disappointed.

No issues with this unit. Added a backup camera too. Love how it auto connects to my phone. Very happy with this purchase. I should have put one just like it in our other vehicle. Pioneer is a far better product than the Kenwood we got at Car Toys. Stick with Best Buy and Best Buy installers.

Nice radio great quality would have given 5 stars but it doesn’t have voice command option so that button on my steering wheel doesn’t work nobody told me until it was installed. Also had many problems with Best Buy connecting me to the geek squad installer to the point where I told three people to have managers call me because it was so ridiculous and not one did. I recommend the installer and I recommend the radio but I don’t recommend dealing with Best Buy because one hand doesn’t know what the other is doing.

We were having a problem working the old stereo that was in our Mustang convertible. After talking to and installer whom helped pick out the best one for us that was easy to work and it worked with a backup camera so it made us all very happy.

Pioneer has always been the go to brand for me. This unit is no exception. It has plenty of features for the price and sounds great. It matched up well with the Kicker hideaway.

Everything works great and is easy to use. Bluetooth is problem free. Remote is great to prevent distraction.

Once I got it, worked well and was east to set up. Mounted camera just above rear license plate and can see trailer ball when backing up to my boat. Love the Blue tooth for phone calls and podcasts. Great upgrade
