This receiver is very good in that it allows me to have very good surround with my new TV and Blue Ray. The set up was very difficult to figure out initially, but when I did it was easy make corrections like the lip sync issues that are common with TV's and Blue Rays via HDMI. Once I did figure out the settings you can set each device's sync etc.

it took a few days of messing around with the different settings to get it just how i like it, but after that it is good. the control app for android is really nice and it allows me to stream any music saved on the phone to the receiver although using airplay from my computer seems to have a little better sound quality.

This receiver was very easy to operate. the multi-zone feature allows me to play music on my patio while barbecuing.

This was the final piece to my living room entertainment setup, bringing together an led smart tv and a surround sound system. I did my due diligence before purchasing, and the feedback I got for this receiver was overwhelming positive. It's fairly easy to setup if you know what you're doing. The remote control can be a little confusing at times, but overall, as the hub of my cinema film watching setup, I couldn't be happier with this receiver.

i upgraded my surround sound while this product was on sale and it was a great purchase. i play video games and watch plenty of movies. i hooked up the front height speakers to start with and i eventually will run a 6.1 rear surround as well i love that you can do both and pretty quickly switch between the 2. i doubt ill ever use the 2 zones but using the 2nd zone speakers for height is great. this system really rocks... thanks pioneer!

This system does exactly what I was looking for. It is multi zone without breaking the bank. Wife can listen to her music I can listen to my music in the pool and the kids can watch TV its a win win situation it is a little difficult to navigate at first but once you get used to it it is fine.zone 2 is analog only do not use any digital feed for zone 2.that seems to be the only drawback I see.for the price its a perfect receiver.

This replaced an old Yamaha receiver, it has all that my old receiver had and more. I had a little bit of a hard time getting it hooked up because I am not using it as a surround sound with my TV its just for audio.

Powerful sound!! The receiver has a ton of options that give the user versatility when it comes to perfecting the sound. I look forward to exploring and discovering all that this beast of equipment can accomplish.

So many options on this receiver! Still have it almost 2 years later with no problems. We have a 5 channel surround sound inside and then I ran 2 channels out to the patio to some outdoor speakers. Only issue is you are limited on what which input you can use for the outside speakers.

Got the whole system right before Thanksgiving including the Samsung 65" along with Bowers and Wilkens speakers and sub. This amp seems to drive everything quite well and the sound is amazing.

The receiver is awesome. I utilize this for my outside patio and it is a dependable solution.

I had a few issues with this receiver to begin with, but in the end, found out it wasn't the receiver at all. It was my source that was going into the receiver. Easy enough to set up. Plugged in the microphone and let it run the audio adjustment program. Easy peasy. No issues thus far.

Pioneer is a very reliable old school brand. This unit is no surprise. New receivers are loaded with video technology, but not a good mix with older components (line level in/out). This is the same case with all brands. Purchased this model on sale, making it priced right. The front USB port is the best feature added in 20 years. For the rest of you old guys (like me), get a small USB flash drive, load ALL of your favorite music on it (mp3 format). Just plug it in the front of the receiver for non stop music playback ( no more discs).

For the price, no receiver beats it in the market. i would have loved more HDMI outlets but again, for the price its great. Pioneer Elite surpasses all other receivers in my opinion.

This is a fantastic unit that has every setting and hookup I could imagine. All the HDMI in ports make it super easy to connect all the inputs you have. The built in Pandora is awesome as well. I got this on an incredible sale before Christmas which made this receiver a slam dunk.
