PNY 8GB DDR3 Laptop Memory is a quick and relatively inexpensive upgrade for your laptop. Memory is easy to install and offers great performance. I've purchased two of this product and now my laptop has 16GB of RAM. Easy to do, quick, noticeable results. Would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their laptop.

The RAM itself was fine but it turns out my computer required low voltage memory and so this was not compatible. Still it's a great price for a simple way to improve your computer.

I purchased the PNY 1.6GHz DDR3 2x4GB to increase the memory in my Dell laptop from 4-GB to 8-GB. My laptop has two memory slots. I'm not a tech person, but customer service helped to get the best option, "do not to mix-and-match memory cards of different types". You should not combine memory of different voltages or use memory with incorrect voltage since your laptop may not even boot up.

When it comes to Laptop memory there's not much to know. Chances are you have one in your laptop already that you can't remove and you just want to add 8GB to get more umph. This module matches up with most laptops at the correct speed and timings. Be warned these are 1.5v not 1.35v (DDR3L).

I went into best buy and purchased this 8GB card from the clerks' recommendation. Unfortunately it wasn't compatible with my laptop. However, I ordered a comparable item from Amazon for much cheaper and it works like a dream. My little laptop has never been faster. I gave 4 stars because I'm sure if it is compatible with your computer it will work just as well

For the price this is a good product. Installation was super easy (RAM usually is) and I noticed an immediate speed up of my laptop. The biggest impact was in gaming. Not in quality of graphics (that's separate hardware) but rather a good boost to framerate.

I love the speed of this RAM. After looking for some other brands and websites, this is by far one of the cheapest, fastest available. The latency of this modules are lower than the rest in this price range making it the best purchase for a laptop upgrade.

Purchased two of these due to their great price and installed in some HP ElitEDesk systems (small form factor). Works great, but why wouldn't they? Systems went from 4gb to 12gb and had a marked improvement in performance. I also used this in my five year old Win7 laptop and it is running like a new system!

I wanted extra RAM to beef up my laptop, which only had 4GB installed. I saw this PNY RAM on sale, and had purchased the brand in the past with good results. Everything went great with the install, and I am enjoying the extra memory. It has given the laptop the boost I wanted for a great price.

I purchased 2 of the PNY 8Gb 204 pin laptop ram stick to upgrade my HP laptop from the standard 2 4gb sticks. I was looking around for the best deal and came across best buy's web page and found these on clearance for $25 each which was a great price considering that any other brand 8gb 204 pin ram stick goes for about $33 or more. The other reviews on PNY 8gb memory sticks were good, so I tried them. So far they have been running fantastic in my laptop, with no issue. I'd recommended these to anyone trying to upgrade their system on a budget.

This is not the first time I went with PNY for upgrading memory and again it's proved to be a reliable product. I put 16 GB in a Dell E5430 along with a 240 GB Intel SSD and my laptop just zips!

Excellent ram for a good price. I needed it for upgrading a friends HP laptop. I needed a single stick of 8GBs to pair up with the original 2GB to make 10GBs total.

Runs nice! Upgraded an 8 gig laptop to 16 gigs anf Autodesk Revit runs great now! Outlook, Excel, Revit, AutoCAD and IE running all at once without a hiccup.

Outstanding product if you want to upgrade your Mac and not pay Apple's outrageous memory price. Only problem, the first set I got and installed had bad RAM sectors - Geek Squad didn't even blink at that, just took them back. Next set, no problem, so save your receipt but still a great value - little Mac humming along.

These 8GB of RAM really made a huge difference in the functionality of my laptop. cheap and easy to install.
