The card is pretty solid. It does what it is set out to do. I have it running two monitors on an office pc that I have upgrading severely. No bump in PSU needed it runs just fine. I would recommend it as lighter card and is great if you aren't heavily gaming on very demanding titles. CSGO and Minecraft run on it just fine if those are the games you play.

Works perfectly in a Dell Optiplex 3010 small form factor. Watch Netflix and YouTube just fine FHD. It also games on medium settings 1080p with decent frames per second.

Do not buy this card, even though this was released in 2018 this is a SDDR4 version and the performance to its 2017 counter part with a DDR5 is almost 80% less. Please look at the Windows Performance as attached, this card gave a Graphics score of 5.8 and the one with DDR5 memory gave 8.1. Also the snapshot for the GT 1030 with DDR5 memory on Techpowerup GPU-Z shows that it is a Samsung DDR5, you can use the same to check if you receive the right card.

This card did better then I thought it would have! On my "TV".. It worked well in 1440p its and ran at 75fps, and in 2160p on my "TV" it ran at 30fps work the best in 1080p running at 120hz but it still does really well in 1440p on a TV. Now on a gaming monitor its best in 1080p 144hz and higher.

Good budget NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030

PNY - NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 PCI graphics card is a good card for those on a budget, and limited power supply capacity. It only sink about 30 watts of power from your PCIe slot. plus it is also a half height model, which allow for smaller format case. Plus it also have a HDMI port for those who would like to connect to a big screen. I don't have any complaint on it as it is working fine, since I had it. I installed into my Lenovo 510A which have an Intel i7-9700 CPU, with 16 GB of Ram and a 512 GB SSD.

This card works fairly well for its size, it fits nicely inside my small Dell case and handles just about anything I can throw at it. I use it for work and gaming, have not had any problems with it, I can barely hear the fan when it kicks on. For those looking for a budget card this is worth it. Just for reference the games I run are World of Tanks, World of Warships, Falcon BMS, and Flight Sim X. It can run World of Tanks on ultra settings but I would not recommend it as it does drop your frame rates, I have tweaked the setting between ultra and high in the game and and it appears to average around 80 FPS. I can actually get more if I lower the settings and turn a few things off. Highly recommend if you're on a budget, I love it.

Decent card for low end of 4k60 video cards

I bought this card to drive a 4k60 display via the HDMI 2.0 port, and is does what I need it to do: I mainly do programming and video editing on Windows 10 Pro. I am not a gamer, so I cannot really comment on any game-related performance. But, since this card is priced on the low end of gaming cards and has only 2GB of RAM and 384 CUDA cores, I would expect it to perform better than most mother board (MoBo) graphics but nowhere near other cards that cost several times as much. If you are into "mining" or "folding" with a GPU, I typically pull above 59,000 points per day out of this GPU on this card when allocated Covid-19 research from Folding @ Home. On a rare occasion -- maybe once every 2 or 3 weeks-- if Windows shut the monitor off because of inactivity, when I first move the mouse or press a key the screen goes all static for a second, and then all black. I have discovered that I can press Ctrl+Alt+Del, then press Esc, and the problem fixes itself without having to reboot.

This graphics card honestly surprised me, I didn't expect to do as well as it is! My little brother in law plays Overwatch with me on the family computer and with his onboard Intel graphics he could only get 35 fps on the lowesr settings- and the game would sometimes crash. We installed this bad boy today and now he's getting 60 fps easy on Epic settings! And low temperatures. It's nice that it doesn't need an additional power connection either and worked with the basic power supply in the family computer. Easy to install, gray bang for buck.

Just installed this to my 2009 ASUS M4A78-E HTPC with its AMD Radeon HD 3300 graphics display. Windows 10 installed the NVidia software and all is very good! Better than ever before! The onboard motherboard HDMI graphics connections at the HDMI and DVI ports stopped functioning last week, although the motherboard VGA port connection still worked fine. Considering my HTPC monitors are 4k with HDMI ports, an added video card became a necessity. This card installed easily with Windows 10 recommended drivers, but updated to 4K resolutions without my intervention after Windows installed the NVidia software. All I had to do was increase the Windows 10 display settings scale and layout from 100% to 150%. This gave me excellent text sizing for easy viewing. There was also no problem with screen sizing and layout. The card just gave a perfect picture. Hopefully, this card will continue for a long time as my HTPC is a sealed box unit that looks similar to an antique radio from the 1940s - and I don't want to stop using it anytime soon. This PNY video card fan can't be heard in my HTPC case. The DDR4 memory also appears to be zero problem - but then, this computer itself uses 8GB of DDR2 RAM and runs Windows 10 effortlessly with its old AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 955 Processor at 3.20 GHz. Computer boot-up only takes a few seconds with no lag in operation at any time. I'm currently very pleased with the operation of this PNY GeForce GT1030 2GB graphics card. It's working perfectly in the motherboard #2 video card slot running at PCI-E 2.0 X16. My HTPC is used for CD, DVD, and Blu-Ray use as well as Internet browsing and movies.

I bought this GPU on sale because I needed a bit of extra oomph on my work desktop to use programs like Adobe Photoshop and add an extra monitor. This GPU allows me to work on some basic programs and have two monitors at once. However, you will need a DVI and an HDMI for multiple monitors. I did test a few games on it to test performance, and some ran well (Battlefield 4, Sims 4) at 720p and 1080p, but others would not start because it is limited by 2GB of memory (Halo Infinite). For a work computer, I'd buy this. If I was looking for a cheap gaming graphics card, I would probably go with a different one, probably one with the need for a power supply connection. PROS: No need for PSU connection, way smaller than expected, often on sale, supports two monitors CONS: Only one HDMI port, 2GB of memory (AMD side offers some competition at 4GB and this limits video game support greatly), full retail price is a bit high

I initially bought this just to get a computer going that I bought from a friend. I ended up rebuilding that into the pictures PC for a friends kid after I upgraded. For my computer, a little more oompf was necessary but in a computer that’s mostly going to play Minecraft and Fortnite or other esports games it should do well. The only time I had any issue was with large open world games like GTA V or the Witcher III but that probably could have been resolved by lowering the settings further than I had. The games were still playable, just not smooth. But it’s a 1030. I didn’t expect anything more than what I got.

GT 1030 card - decent for office and esport

This GT 1030 is a fine option for small cases and low profile 1x width options. Honestly there arent many other choices. Unique benefits of this one, are the DVI and HDMI ports. This is unlike the SFF Quadro models, which can also drive multiple monitors. Other makers using this 1030 arrangment have different output ports, so check that. It takes no power cord. My install of this nearly silent card was to replace a Quadro K620, another 2GB single width low profile card. But, the new 1030 offers DDR4 ram instead of DDR3, and a 14nm fab instead of 28nm. This means the wires are shorter, the performance higher by 30% , all with the same number of CUDA cores, 384. Power draw is down from 45W to 30W. FPS is >60 for Minecraft, Roblox, chess, video, free games. You are not going to like this for a first person shooter. Overall I am happy with this for an esports and work office machine. It is unfortunately an x8 PCIe slot, so the data path is half the Quadro. Not for modeling work. But it is a fine card with a silent fan, and a low working temp. Best wishes.

The Little Graphics Card That Could

Even in 2020, this little guy can keep up. I bought one to finish my first PC build and have no problems. My sights are still set on a 3070, but I can play pretty much any game so long as it's not graphic intensive. If it is, turning everything down can help, which might be a breaking point for many. I would not recommend this product to people who want to have good graphics or play the AAA newest games on the market, but if all you're looking for is functionality at a good price, you really can't go wrong with the 1030.

To be honest, this was the only graphics card in stock. My bosses new monitor was a 1440p, and her motherboard would not go over 1080p, so the monitor looked fuzzy. I purchased this card to replace the on board graphics as it claimed to do up to 4K, which should cover her. She is using the monitor/card for business and not gaming, but the card worked as advertised, and once the GEFORCE software was installed, it recognized the monitor by name, set itself to the monitors native resolution, and was clear and the boss was happy.

I was looking to upgrade my HP slimline Intel i3 HD530 graphics PC. My video editing software was hard to use, very choppy in the preview mode. 1st step I upgraded my 8 GB memory to 16 GB. That made no difference at all. 2nd step I replaced the i3 with an i7 processor. Now that made a nice improvement. But, still not quite good enough. Videos I produced in the MP4 format would start off pixelated and slow then after a few seconds they would play fine. This video card was the final piece and the key upgrade. I required the low profile feature due to the slimline case. In the box was the low profile bracket! Also, I needed to have the HDMI and DVI output. And finally, a reasonable price! Card installed easily and works great. Make sure you download and install the Geforce drivers.
