Great card for converting VGA to HDMI on Desk top

My new 4 K TV did not have a PC connection. I bought this PNY - Nvidia GeForce GT 730 2GB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card to make my computers output HDMI and plugged into HDMI 2 and it works like a charm. It saved me the price of a new desk top computer so if you have a issue like mine I strongly recommend this product. You also gain the ability to play games as well.

Affordable Upgrade for Windows 10

Upon being forced to upgrade the video card after the free Win 10 (which once again is not backwards compatible with everything) I was looking for a card which would not bankrupt me or forcing me to buy a whole new computer. This card filled the bill, not only because of the price but because of the on board memory. It was recognized by Win 10 and corrected the ills that Win 10 created when upgraded. Would probably be a good gaming card if I played games. Nvidia cards seem to always have a good product although I am not sure I care for the their GForce Experience interface...sort of confusing on how it really helps.

My son bought this 2 GB video card, for $80, which has been great - he was able to easily install in his older PC running Windows 7 32-bit, on an Intel Core2Duo, with 4 GB of RAM - this video card installed drivers immediately (we did go out to the nVidia website afterwards to update to the most current) - but it greatly improved the gaming ability on his somewhat lower-end PC, for a relatively inexpensive price - he is now able to play a number of Steam games that he was unable to play before

Not bad for mid-level graphics card

I needed a mid-level graphics card that would work on an older computer that I recently upgraded to Windows 10. The older graphics card didn't have an updated driver. This card works with Win 10 and it's great for large monitors with higher resolution.

Our computer video card 'bit the dust' one evening and I had to fix it for an important event the following day. I had no time to do an online comparison but had worked with PNY - Nvidia GeForce video cards in the past so I chose this as my replacement. It was easy to install and provided resolution to the issue I was having. The bonus is that I'm also very pleased with its performance!

Great card for running two monitors

I have an HP Pavillion 500 and picked up a second monitor to make it easier to work with multiple files and screens. The built in graphics card could not handle high resolution so I needed a quality graphics card with a reasonable price point. This did the trick. Installation was very easy and Windows 10 recognized it and auto configured the new monitor perfectly. If you are a heavy gamer, I would consider a heavier duty card but for basic work and simple games, this works well.

Old HP computer GPU failed. Best GPU for my MB, has 2GB memory 1GB more than my old card and just made the power supply minimum requirement of my PS unit. Simple install, works well, had it for a few months. Not for hard core gaming.

Good for slim profile pc. Will run games you would not think it would be able to handle. Requires less power than specs state.

We're not gamers so I can't comment on that, but for regular graphics work and standard office app's, it works just fine and it's ActiveX12 compatible and solved our resolution problems with our old graphics card and Win10 Pro. It works, what more can you say?

Thus far card has worked flawlessly. And at a good price. Ran BF3 without any problems. Of course can't set the in game res up to what one would like due to lack of PC power, but the card out performed the original XFX GT9800.

I play PC games now and then not a hard core gamer. I put this card in a Asus - Desktop - AMD A10-Series - 8GB Memory (maxed memory to 16GB) - 1TB Hard Drive (bought from BestBuy) with a HP - 25" LED HD Monitor (also from BestBuy).
I've played Fallout 3, Wow, Rome Totalwar, The Long Dark and max settings and it's been great! I typically play them in windowed mode because I like to play music in the background and like to switch back and forth between the game and what ever software I'm using. And the card has been fine.
I also do some home video editing with Camtasia and no problems with the card handling it.
If you just want something better than the on board graphics chip but only are a casual PC game player this card won't disappoint you!

Bought this as replacement for my NVIDIA Geforce 7950 GT,(512 MB) which in turn replaced my default NVIDIA Quadro (256 MB. I beat Crysis on it. Im serious.) Very good videocard if you're on budget. It even fit my motherboard in DELL Precision 390, which surprised me very much. Now Im able to play Fallout New Vegas on medium and Skyrim on medium/high on my 4 GB RAM and Core 2 Duo 1.86 ghz Windows XP SP3 computer. Also able to play Command and Conquer 3 on high graphics. HD Mammoth tanks! Aside from occasional "nv4_disp display driver has stopped working" error during gaming, which Im blaming on my operating system, I had no problem. (Go to NVIDIA control panel>PhysX and select your video card, instead of "auto-select". Should fix this error). Stays at 36-37C, even after several hours of intense gaming. No strain on my power supply that I noticed. Best 80$ me and my mom spent, actually.

Good Video Card for the money

The video card instructions were a little difficult to navigate, and I was not sure how the card was really going to seat in a PCI Express slot that was clearly larger than the card connection, but the card connected up fine and works well for beginning gaming.
