Many appreciate the card's ease of installation and the compact size, which is suitable for smaller computer cases. Positive feedback also highlights the improved graphics quality compared to onboard graphics. While some users noted the need for an external power supply, the overall experience appears largely positive.

Had to find a quick solution after my GTX970 decided to give up on life. This little guy will help bridge that gap when I build my new rig later this year and I can upgrade to a 300/400 series GPU. It's quiet, runs everything my 970 could and even more, easy to install, and it doesn't take up as much space as the larger cards. This is the perfect card if you want to get into gaming and want to build a budget machine, you won't regret purchasing it and I had no problem doing so myself. It features two Displayport connections and one HDMI and it will support three monitors. I'm running a dual 24" monitor setup on Displayports. I do wish it had a back plate, though, even being a budget card, it's nice having that extra bit of "something" to cover the PCB and back plates do help with cooling. Not something that is a must, more of a vanity thing.

Works well for Nvidia FFmpeg NVENC/NVDEC

Used in an Ubuntu Server with a compiled version of FFMPEG with the Nvidia encoding headers. Can handle upscaling an incoming RTMP 1080p60 to 2160p60. Be sure to install the Nvidia CUDA toolkit which will simultaneously install the latest Nvidia driver before attempting to compile FFmpeg. An important flag to run is “-extra_hw_frames 8” or else ffmpeg may fail to function.

The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card is a budget-friendly GPU that punches well above its weight class. Offering an impressive blend of performance and affordability, it's an excellent choice for gamers and content creators looking to upgrade their graphics capabilities without breaking the bank. Performance (4/5): For its price point, the GTX 1650 delivers solid performance. It's capable of handling modern games at 1080p resolution with respectable frame rates on medium to high settings. While it may not be the most powerful option on the market, it's more than sufficient for casual gamers and those on a budget. Content creators will also appreciate the GPU's rendering capabilities for video editing and 3D rendering tasks. GDDR6 Memory (4/5): The inclusion of 4GB of GDDR6 memory is a significant upgrade over its GDDR5 predecessor, resulting in improved memory bandwidth and faster data transfer speeds. This boost in memory performance enhances gaming and multitasking experiences, allowing for smoother gameplay and quicker content creation workflows. PCI Express 3.0 (4/5): Although the GTX 1650 utilizes PCI Express 3.0, it still provides ample bandwidth for most applications. While it may not take full advantage of the faster PCIe 4.0 interface found in newer motherboards, it doesn't hinder the card's overall performance significantly. Cooling and Noise (4/5): Many aftermarket models of the GTX 1650 come with efficient cooling solutions, which help maintain temperatures at reasonable levels under load. While the reference design can get a bit warm and loud, opting for a model with custom cooling can mitigate these issues, making for a quieter and cooler gaming experience. Power Efficiency (5/5): One of the standout features of the GTX 1650 is its impressive power efficiency. It draws relatively little power, making it an ideal choice for systems with limited wattage capacity or for those looking to reduce their electricity bills. This efficiency also means it can run on many standard power supplies without needing any upgrades. Connectivity and Compatibility (4/5): The GTX 1650 offers a good selection of connectivity options, including HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, which can handle multiple monitors and 4K displays. It's also a compact card, making it suitable for smaller PC cases. Conclusion: In summary, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 4GB GDDR6 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card is a budget-friendly powerhouse that delivers solid performance for the price. It's an excellent choice for gamers on a budget, content creators, and anyone looking to upgrade their graphics capabilities without breaking the bank. While it may not compete with the highest-end GPUs on the market, it strikes a balance between performance and affordability that makes it an attractive option for many users.

    Perfect for a remote-work desktop

It all started when I noticed my 4K monitor was running at only 30 Hz, sadness. It became clear that I needed to upgrade my graphics card in order to run 4K at 60 Hz. This card is relatively great. It runs 4K at 60 Hz and it’s 5-7 times faster than my built-in graphics (Intel 630), and it’s very affordable relative to top tier cards. Perfect for a remote-work desktop. Super easy to install too.

only play world of warcraft classic/retail and wanted the 1660 super but it was out of stock and needed a card today. had 30$ in discounts to use so applied them and got a good deal on this 1650 that was already on sale. Once installed have been playing wow lich king exp on full ultra settings at 60fps +/- avg. I'm happy as i usually buy more high dollar cards in the 300-400 range that were overkill just to play wow.

Just picked this up for my Dell XPS and what a difference. I have a LG Ultra Gear 32" monitor and it is a perfect match for it. Was having a red box appear on the desktop on login and slow start up time running windows 11, after installing this card no more red box and startup is super fast, oh and graphics are great too... worth the money!!!

Needed to update my grandson's i5 HP computer so he could play the newer games. If you've never replaced or upgraded your computer you could easily miss a step here. After going to NV website to find the newer drivers the card is up and running, seems to work well, and worth the price.

No problems with the graphics card or purchase. Can play League of Legends no problem. If I remember correctly it can run Diablo 4 as well. The Nvidia software is pretty good too, whether you run the full on Nvidia experience, or even just the barebones no extra software download or anything. I don’t know a ton about graphics cards so you might need to buy a more current one to stay up to date with all the new games and programs being released and all of that. But ya definitely happy with my purchase overall.

It works fine. Not as fast as my old card but it fits in the case better. My only complaint is that it is jerky when I scroll through a document. For the money it does the job I needed. This is not a gaming computer, so can't comment on its usefulness for that application.
