Great GPU for 4k gaming and AI. Finally was able to get 4090 after GPU drought. I have PNY GPU for workstations and trust them as brand overall. Make sure your case enclosure is a little wider to accommodate the PSU connector without over bending. This GPU is also 3+ slots thick(the PNY Verto without RGB is exactly 3 slots like the Founders Edition 4090. Founders Edition is about 10 degrees warmer and objectively louder than this PNY RTX4090.

No issues. Runs at 54c using it to its maximum. Only thing that can get it hotter is abusing the RTX cores. I vertically mounted it and the leds look amazing.

It's a 4090 and doesn't disappoint. This PNY version runs super quiet and looks very nice in person. Best GPU for space and flight sims.

I bought this PNY card because it was the only one available, everything else was sold out. Overall happy with the purchase, pretty big jump in performance over my 3090 and stays much cooler. One thing to note, I looked up 4090 measurements in general online and this card is bigger than the "general" measurements I found, I'm sure it varies a little between manufacturers. The 3090 was 11.5" long so it barely fit in my ATX-mid case. The measurements of this card are 14x5x3 so I had to move my front fan bays around to get this thing in the case!

Gpu works great. I am able to game in 4k at max settings no problem (upgrading from a 1080 ti). This is one of the only cards small enough to fit in my case without some serious modifications. I also purchased a cable mod 90 degree adapter to try and avoid any cable bending issues and it worked out great. The only issue i had was the condition of the product. I purchased a new product but when i went to pick it up at Best Buy, there were two outside box seals cut open on top of one another. I then checked the esd packaging and the seal was still intact so i didnt think too much of it. Once i went to install the new gpu in my pc i noticed that there were a lot of fine scratches over the glossy plastic parts of the gpu and also the pcie connector pads and the metal mounting bracket showed wear marks like it had been used previously. Would have been nice if i could get some kind of open box discount but im still going to keep it.

Mixed Feelings - PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

I recently purchased the PNY NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card with great excitement, only to return it shortly after. While I regret my decision to part ways with it, I must admit that it was undeniably one of the best GPUs I have ever had. The sheer power and performance of the RTX 4090 were truly exceptional. It effortlessly handled demanding games and resource-intensive tasks, delivering stunning visuals and smooth gameplay. The ray tracing capabilities were a game-changer, providing breathtaking lighting effects that added a new level of immersion to my gaming experience. Unfortunately, my experience with the PNY RTX 4090 was not without its drawbacks. One significant concern was its exorbitant price which had me thinking too much to the point I returned it, otherwise, it's amazing and works like a charm, Silent and super fast.

Way overpriced but price has not changed in a year. Runs cooler than my 6gb old cards. But still the best for performance. It is huge so make sure your case fits it. Pretty reliable after 1.5 years.

PNY in my opinion fills the gap that EVGA has left. PNY is better known for the professional GPUs such as Quadros. The PNY cards use the OEM specification for the PCB design so you can't overclock past the default power limit of 450W (I think that's the max TDP) but for 99% of users, this is more than enough. There isn't a difference in performance that would justify paying the $200 more for a Strix card or etc. Me personally, I cap the power limit at 80-85% for efficiency reasons, and I notice zero differences in 4K max settings with a 165Hz panel. I overclocked the card's core by 45Mhz which is what the OC version of the XLR8 card is clocked at. The card can boost under these conditions and stays cool, so I never notice the fans. Yes, I highly recommend this card.

I mist preface this by sayig im not one of those gamers that needs to know the exact performance numbers and all of that. I purchased this GPU due to the fact that its one of the smaller 4090s around. Its powerful and truly runs my games in 4k qnd a high refresh rate, i have absolutely no coil whine and no cooling issues what so ever while gaming. I never purchased a PNY GPU wbfore this purchase (usualy get founders) but this card has been a treat so far, great performance, great price and not as flashy as the rest of the 4090. Worth the money by a longshot.

This card is Amazing.I was a big Evga fan and only bought their cards so after i heard the news they wasn't doing graphics cards anymore i was saddened and left looking for a new brand when the 4090s became i stock on a regular basis i decided to read the reviews on all and do some research which led me to buy the PNY xlr8 4090.I always thought PNY was a generic company turns out they make all the Quatro cards and the warranty was good but rma process was hit or miss. This card only has a 100%power limit ut this thing runs cool and quiet no coil whine at all as far as temps 4k 120hrtz max settings card only gets 63°c also overclocking so far ive been able to get well over 3000mhz and over 1100 on the memory id definitely recommend this card very nicely designed hopefully PNY will release a vbios that will unlock the piwer slider

The PNY RTX 4090 is a beast of a card. It does not overclock like some other cards dince it is limited to 450W TDP, but the 4090 wasn’t meant to be overclocked. 150 more watts will net you roughly 5% more performance. What you will get is a rock solid card that is well built and very quiet with great thermals. Make sure you download PNY’s VelocityX to control the RGB, but otherwise this thing is plug and play. If you happen to have a Corsair PSU, I highly revommend licking up their 12VHPWR cable for a clean power cable solution that wont require any adapters. Lastly, enjoy having one of the most powerful pieces of computer hardware money can buy! If you can afford it and want the best 4K gpu money can buy, this is a no brainer.

Never owned any PNY GPUs before but so far it has been great. Ran cooler and quieter than my EVGA 3090 with same settings for all the games I played. It is a chonker. Be sure to install anti-sag bracket. Highly recommended. Cheers!!
