Better than Pikachu?

Bought both games, kept Pikachu and have Eevee to my bro. Sounds Eevee is better for combat than Pikachu but I’ll survive. Great game and worth reliving my childhood but too easy is the only drawback. Highly recommend getting the pokeball though, was totally worth it.

For anybody who played the original pokemon blue and/or red on the Gameboy, you'll love this game. It's basically the same game with the updated graphics and some other new things like pokemon, characters, items, etc. I love it, my kids love it, and it can even be played with 2 players at once so we can enjoy the fun together. I recommend also getting the pokeball plus as a compliment ot this game, it just makes it more fun to have the pokeball controller and the colors/sounds it makes.

Pokemon Go, both Eevee and Pikachu edition, take the world from the first series of Pokemon Game boy games, update the graphics, and replace the repetitive wild Pokemon battles with the refined Pokemon Go mobile game controls. This gives a breath of fresh air to a beloved classic game while adding a layer of complexity and depth that the Pokemon Go mobile game lacked.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow for a blast from the past and to the Go fan-base who always hoped for more game-play than the app could offer.

This game is truly the resurrection of the original Pokémon generation. Anyone that loves the nostalgia of the original series with a little modern gameplay, I recommend this game.

I played Pokémon Yellow when I was a kid and I’ve been playing Pokémon ever since. This game took me back, but isn’t quite what I was expecting. Let’s Go Eevee is too easy for someone like me (a 20 year old adult, haha). I think that the younger generation or newcomers to the Pokémon franchise might have a more fun time with this game than I’m having. That being said, I’ve only invested 20 hours and received only 3 of the 8 gym badges so I still have a long ways to go before fully deciding if it was a ‘worth it’ purchase or not.
Overall, if you’re an avid Pokémon fan and looking for a game to unwind and relax with, this is it; you won’t get frustrated like other games from the series. If you’re looking for a challenge, wait until next year for the next “real” Pokémon installment.
If you’re a kid or you’re planning on buying this game for someone under the age of 15 they’ll probably enjoy it.

Great game overall, enjoyed the old storyline with the updated graphics. There are some gameplay features that have been put in to make the game easier to play but I wish they would've been left out to make the game more challenging, such as the party-share exp.

This is a pretty simple game that keeps the difficulty down so people unfamiliar with the series can dive in and have fun. It is relaxing to run around and catch pokemon and their are plenty of trainers in the game to battle with. Overall, an easy relaxing game.

My son is over the moon about this game. It was a little difficult for him on the first day, but now he’s playing like a pro. I love that the levels are difficult because he will be able to play this for months before beating the game. There’s nothing worse than a game the kids love, but are able to beat every level the first week of playing. I will likely get him the poke ball so he can use it playing this game and playing on my phone. At bestbuy I even got a beautiful silver case for the game with eevee and pikachu on it.

Guys, please do some research before buying this game. It's more of a casual game that's meant to catch pokemon, especially shiny types. You don't really battle other pokemon or trainers like sword and shield, but you do, do some battles. This game is not meant for everyone. But, if you enjoy catching pokemon and want to hunt for shiniest, give this game a shot.

The game is over all good with it's graphics and story. However, it's not like the traditional Pokemon versions I have played since day one. It's a mixture of both Pokemon yellow and Pokemon go. And that's not bad at all; it's just not that great for me.

The Let's Go! series seemed cute but not my cup of tea at first. After a few weeks of playing it, I have to say that it definitely grew on me. The enhanced graphics, slight adaptation to the story line and outfits between you and eevee/pikachu have truly been fun to experience. With the addition of having overworld pokemon and being able to see their models be shiny was a big selling point for me, personally. Definitely loving it more than I ever thought I would!

Awesome game and great time passer. Trying to catch shiny Pokémon is a full days work if you're LUCKY. If you aren't lucky, be prepared to dedicate a few days to this. I like the fact that Pokémon no longer have to learn HMs. In this case Eevee learns them as techniques and can still learn four battle moves. I chose this one over Pikachu to experience a different starter and because I want an alolan vulpix. Hope this helps. Also, it sucks that you can't trade from Pokémon Let's go to Go. You can only trade from Go to Let's go.

This game is a way for any new players to get into Pokémon. It’s not very hardcore and better suited for casual players. But it is a great experience nonetheless. The motion controls are a little buggy and delayed. It is still a fun game.

This is a nicely done, and graphically updated version of Pokemon Yellow. My 6 year old already has 2 gym badges and can't even read what is going on in the game... lol. I was afraid it would be too complex for her, but she's having fun, especially playing and interacting with Eevee. I personally rushed to get to the GO Park to be able to trade with the Pokemon Go app, and it didn't take too long, did it in a weekend. Now I'm going back to the beginning to take my time and hunt for shiny pokemon.

My 7 year-old son and I bought this to play together. He has watched the show but never played the games. We are loving the easy transition and introduction to the Pokémon world.
The only negative is that it is a really easy game so far.
