Customers are positive about the Loop Activity Tracker's heart rate and sleep tracking features, finding it easy to use and appreciating its waterproof design. However, customers are negative about the product's short battery life and the challenges some experienced with band sizing and syncing. The app also received mixed reviews, with some users finding it less intuitive than expected. Other features like step tracking and accuracy were generally well-received.

We love this product it works really well. Easy to read and to use. The one issue that we have with it is that you can not set goals, there are goals but they are preset and you can not change them.
Tip: The back of the tracker needs to make contact with your skin to work so make sure the band fits correctly. Some reviews talk about the button not working it is because the button only works when the back of the tracker is touching your skin.

The loop is easy to use but not very accurate on steps..It gives you way more credit than what you actually stepped...Works best with the h7 heart monitor sold separate

I jumped at this product because it said on the display at Best Buy that it tracked heart rate, which I have been wanting.
Don't fall for this. Read the product information fully. When I got the unit home, I discovered that you have to buy a separate chest band from Polar which collects the heart beat information and sends it to the Loop. Two problems with this: 1. extra cost 2. Inconvenience. I was expecting to track my heat rate by contact with my wrist. Having to wear a chest band around all day to track heart rate is just not comfortable or convenient.
Also, the software is so buggy I am amazed that they have released it. When it syncs with the iPhone, the app does not show the most recent 1-3 hours of data. When it syncs with a Mac, it always ends with a message that the synce did not complete, but gives no indication of what this means or how to fix it.
Finally, you have to charge this thing every few days. For me that is not acceptable.
Fed up and stopped using it.

I did a lot of research before making this purchase. I purchased the Loop because of its functions and design; it tells time, is water resistant and monitors my sleep, in addition to the other features. The Loop works well for me and my needs.

Great device that is easy to use. It syncs easily with my iphone and Polar H7 heart rate monitor. I find it encouraging and fascinating to see how much I actually move. It is comfortable to wear and easy to fit to your arm. My only complaint is that it's difficult to tell when your battery is low. I wish it showed battery % on the watch without having to plug it in.

first of all, I have to say that I bought this because in the description it said "measures heart rate". I wanted something that could keep track of my daily activity without having to have chest strap. well, this thing wasnt very accurate: it didnt recognize when i went jogging. for what ive read in other reviews, this thing is very accurate when you use it the chest strap; problem is, I dont want to have a chest strap 24/7 in order to record my activity.

I started out with a FitBit. I misplaced my dongle and went to Target and Best Buy for a replacement only to find out that it was only available through FitBit. While at Best Buy I came across the Polar Loop and my interest was piqued. The Polar Loop has a clasp unlike the FitBit with its difficult silicone prongs. Also, I find the Polar Loop software easier to read/manage. The price point for the Polar Loop was much cheaper compared to FitBit. I feel that you get more bang for your buck with Polar Loop.

Loved the device and concept. However, did not like the fact that you had to cut it to fit to size. It all worked out for the size, but just don't cut too much at one time. For the price, Polar needs to think about having a better strap and not have to cut it to fit. I returned this because it does not sync up in "real time". Talked to Polar and they said that is just the way it works. I took it back and got a Fitbit Flex, which does sync up in "real time". Would think about buying again, if they get their strap issues and sync time fixed. I would recommend this, but it just depends on what you are looking for in an activity tracker.

The only thing that I don't like about the loop is that it doesn't show the date.
Other then that it's great I really like the app and how it trys to give you ideas of what you could do to reach your goal and it tells you when you need to start moving to stay healthy

Polar Loop is not the best for tracking steps like Fitbit. The online site is not much use unless you get the heart monitor ($60 more). I like that it can get wet & swim with it.

But it wouldn't sync with my phone. It only syncs with a limited amount of Android devices. Was very sad because I really liked it! Would recommend to someone with an iPhone.

I absolutely love my Polar Loop. I had another activity tracker but gave it to a friend. The Polar Loop has really forced me to be more active. I pride myself on the fact that I exercise 7 days a week. However, I never realized how much sitting I did in one day. This tracker will truly motivate it's users to be more active!

Great for tracking steps and calories through the day. Syncs to your phone. And if you have the HR monitor you can link up all three. Love this thing!

I wanted an activity tracker that also had heart rate tracking for work-outs. Since I already owned an H7 bluetooth, this was the cheapest option available right now. I cut the strap in small increments to get the size I wanted (3 times). The metal part of the bracelet occasionally bothers my wrist. It has a short battery life. I have to charge it every about every three days. I expected this since I had read many reviews before buying. As for tracking activities, it does well tracking my sleep, but has a hard time telling which activity I'm doing. It will say I'm sitting when laying in bed reading or that I'm standing when I'm walking. I've haven't used any other activity trackers so I can't compare how well it works to others. It pairs quickly and works well with the H7 heart rate strap. It works well for my needs. If I didn't already have the H7 strap, I would have looked more at the other options.

Got this tracker for my wife. She likes the style and functionality. Don't like that you have to cut the band to fit it. It would also be nice if you could set it up directly with a smartphone, but you need a PC for initial setup. The step count seems more accurate than other cheaper trackers. If you want to use this for tracking heart rate, you have to purchase a chest strap. I would personally prefer an integrated pulse feature. All and all, doesn't seem too bad if you are just looking for a basic tracker with smartphone app features.

Good idea gone mediocre! The tracking is good, but the app is not as good as it should be. The price isn't justified. Should be $40 - $50 less.

So far this is a great little item works as described really helps you keep track of steps and activity. Battery life is good lasts around 3-4 days on a charge. My only gripe is that I am a 3rd shift worker and I haven`t found a good way (other than writing down my step numbers @11:59 pm every night) to keep track of my steps since it re sets at midnight. But other than that I love it bought one for my wife as well.

Shopped all options and since I am a swimmer, the Polar Loop was the best choice. It is easy to use and tracks everything I need (steps, calories, HR (with chest band - sold separately)), and automatically recharges while downloading data.
