I got this item on sale and for the price the quality is absolutely top-notch. The base is full and deep and the highs are crisp and clear. Vocal audio is also so much better with this new system than the TV audio I was using before and I like that I can adjust the vocal volume independently from the other types. I know some people complain about the remote but I have no issues so far. My futon is about 6-7 feet away from the system for reference.

This Polk soundbar is problematic when listening to broadcast TV stations. I purchased to enhance the sound from my TV's poor quality speakers. The sound is great when it works, but sometimes the sound stops completely. Nothing! The only remedy is to unplug it and listen on the poor TV speakers! Very frustrating! I have not noticed this problem when watching DVDs. For what this cost ($500) you'd think it would reliably work.

My husband was having trouble hearing VOICES on TV shows and movies. The Polk Audio - Magnifi Sound System was recommended to us by Best Buy and now hubby can hear all the voices and does not have to ask "what did they say" anymore. Great sound all around but especially draws out the voice sounds very clearly.

The product is mediocre but the worst part is after 5 years i have had an issue with the remote where it will only turn sound up but not down. Even though you can link it to another remote - the same happens so there is something wrong with the sound bar. Contacted Polk and essentially they said we don't support this product anymore.

I returned 2 soundbars because the subwoofer lacked bass. This Polk Audio does not disappoint for the price $179 it’s a steal. 3.2 speakers, center speaker makes it loud. I just wish it could be turned off for music. Kind of get an echo effect! I knocked off 1 star because it doesn’t have arc, HDMI hook up, just optical. The remote is also very small. The original price is $399 so it’s a keeper at the sale price . I wouldn’t pay full price for this sound bar though. I am a bass person and I have the subwoofer turned down. So if you like bass and it’s still on sale purchase this, you won’t be sorry.

Purchased this SoundBar to go along with my new LG Ultra HD 4K TV ... It's sound is awesome... The remote allows control of sound volume, voice volume and bass volume... Also a button for movie and one for music... This device also has Bluetooth ... My only complaint is that the remote is very picky meaning you have to be almost directly in front of the SoundBar when using it...

Easy setup, and allows for a variety of room configurations. Significant bass, and decent mid range sounds. Could use a little more high range/tweeter sound, but no complaints on this product. Fills our large living room with great sound

My wife and I have had the Polk Audio MagniFi for a little over a month now and are very happy with it. I had intended to purchase one of the many sound bar-with-subwoofers available at about half the price of the Polk, but after repeated listening tests, there was just no comparison. Wall-shaking bass, crisp highs, and excellent vocal clarity easily put this unit far above the cheaper competition. It sounds so good, I now want to upgrade our LED TV to match the audio! Set up was quick and easy, and it learned our TV's remote code for volume, which is quite convenient. My only nitpick is that it's not available in black, which would better match our flat panel and entertainment center. I bought it on sale for $100 off the regular price, making it a very good value. Glad I spent the extra $$!

Love my Polk Audio Soundbar. Very easy to connect to TV and to Bluetooth. Music and TV sound great especially with the sub-woofer that comes with the soundbar. This unit fills the room with sound. Also looks very nice on TV stand. You can also wall mount the soundbar. One small drawback is that you CANNOT connect this to a stereo receiver. It connects only to a TV with an optical input cable that is included. NO HDMI connection is available. Also, the optical cable that come with the soundbar is cheap and thin. Consider buying a better optical cable for far better performance as I did.

What can I say? I'm loving this soundbar. Setup was really easy and you can boost the center channel sound for voices so that the sound isn't all explosions and such when you're watching action movies. In short, you can tune the sound to fit the experience you're going for. Also, hooking your phone up via Bluetooth to play music is easy and sounds great. I have always loved 5.1 surround sound, but this simply gets it done and it's much easier to set up and manage. Finally, programming any remote to this is simple. We are using the Wii U remote to control it and the TV and it works like a snap. If you need a killer soundbar, Polk delivers.

After lot of research,I bought this sound bar. Polk didn't disappointed me. I used this 100% with TV I don't use Bluetooth at all, I gave 4 points because I am not 100% satisfied with remote. Polk should have given/added little more features to it. I have to try with universal remote. As far as sound goes .. this is the best product

Overall we are happy with this soundbar purchase. Music, movies and sports all have a nice full sound. The subwoofer makes a big difference. The blue tooth is very convenient for Pandora listening through your phone. Having this is a big upgrade from TV speakers, but the quality doesn't blow you away. I think we would have to go up to the next price range tier to get impressive sound.

From the start it was easy to hookup and use within 30 mins. I would say the style isn’t that great as it looks very plastic. That aside I would say the sound is great and having the feature of a wireless sub with the option to make wired was nice. Also a great little gimmick was the addition of a voice button that essentially turns the treble up so you can hear voices better. Overall I am satisfied and have not had any problems yet.

I got this on sale for $250. Much better sound than Samsung Airwave that I also have (got it for $150). Bass is more powerful and really fills the room. Pros: Sound is great for a soundbar and wireless sub. Bass can really rumble the room. Comes with an optical cable which can be a pain to go find (or if you forget it). Setup is pretty much instant out of the box. Plug it in and go. Looks sleek. Cons: So far I think the voice speaker thing is gimmicky and haven't figured out how to get it to sound better by adjusting. Just kind of takes the rest of the sound out of balance. Bluetooth range is shorter than the Samsung I have. Remote sensor seems to be embedded behind the speaker cover so the signal gets blocked easily if you are not aligned well. Kind of frustrating at times. Switching to Bluetooth mode is always indicated by a LOUD beep notification which doesn't seem to go down even if I turn the volume all the way down first. For the ease of setup and sound you get for the money I would recommend if you can catch it on sale.
