This sub is clean... within limits. My house has an upstairs landing where two of the "walls" are non existent and overlook the downstairs. With that, this sub does not get the benefit of reflection. A lot of the bass waves get lost to the great abyss that is my two story living room. So after some trial and error, I did find a place to put the sub where I do get some bass response for movies and music. It is clean bass, but not altogether as present as I would prefer. Partly because of the open layout of my small house, but I will definitely need to get a more powerful sub in the future. At least for this room. Technical babble aside, I've been watching some older movies like the original Top Gun, Saving Private Ryan, and Jurassic Park. The bass that is present is clean and accurate. This sub definitely gives me some much needed depth I've been missing from my smaller Definitive Technologies bookshelf speakers. It helps to really tie in the audio side of the experience from watching movies. On the music side, I am able to set up my newer receiver to play music to the sub as well as the speakers and it fills in nicely. But there is definitely a limit to the bass here. Anything more than half way on the volume knob of the sub and it starts getting blatty and muddy in response. It doesn't seem to want to keep up as well with music as it does with movies. I am thankful for this sub. It is good, it is clean, and I do enjoy it much more than it might sound like in this review. It has filled in a void I've been missing for a long time, especially living in apartments where I've been apprehensive about making neighbors angry. But since I have my own house now, and a lot of time to do the upgrades I want to, I will be investing in a much more powerful sub in the future and likely promoting this sub to an office or bedroom where it won't need to be turned up as loud. Maybe I need dual SVS subs for this space. We'll see. I'll need to bribe my neighbors with grilled and smoked meats before making that kind of jump in bass.

I started looking for a 12-in subwoofer to my home theatre setup. I have had my 8 inch downward firing Cerwin Vega for years. It was great for watching regular television, and movies, but when I moved my home theatre to my living during COVID, It didn't have the capacity to sufficiently fill my 20 x 18 room. I've been contemplating picking up about 12-in for a while, and boy what is it the right decision. Not only does this beast fill the room, but really provides an immersive environment. I have a 7.2 receiver, so I decided to experiment with pairing the 8 inch and 12 in together. I was fearful of it being too much and that the wife would file them papers. I was wrong. It sound way more dope than I anticipated. Watching movies Maverick and Dr. Strange and TV shows like Rings of Power was incredible. It really creates the sound envelope. If you only want or need one subwoofer, this one is a great choice. One last note is that explains well into the living room decor. It It is pretty big but, looks just like a regular piece of furniture.

This Woofer is excellent, I have 2 others that are 400 watts and 12. My Polk is 460 watts and this woofer jumps right in to be heard at just 100 watts For this sale price and you can run 2 big speakers through the amp that is built right in I feel this a real good addition!

I’d give it 5 stars, but Best buy was a horrible experience. No so-called experts, just normal people trying to get by. So when i went to ask about the “Everything needed online, and all that was needed. I still had to come back to the store multiple times, and spend more money to get what was required! The bundled items online gave me mismatched brands which can cause delays, and not even the required front speakers were associated with the “everything needed”. At the store I specifically asked for an audio expert, so they can confirm I was purchasing everything i needed, he answered every thing I said with a yes! I got home did my install, and my new receiver said I was missing required Front speakers, so I had to Back to the store, luckily black friday had bookshelf speakers, same brand great price! But the sub hits great during movies, and video games, music too! Makes you really feel like you set up your own mini theater. Happy with product, glad i did my own research.

Seems to be really good bang for buck. Noticeably more bass than smaller PSW110, well worth the money. A side note… wattage rating seems to be rather worthless when it comes to subs. Dont be concerned with the 100 watts here, the output on this is big

1st time buying this product and brand. Works wonderfully. Sound is clear, easy initial set up, looks sleek, and after full connection got my neighbors hating me. Lol. Good price and I applied the warranty. We did call geek squad, which assisted us in set up of controls and other speakers. Overall very satisfied and worth mentioning as a referral.

Mt first Sub so I don't have related experience. But I was amazed. When I stood in front of a front speaker it was the best bass I'd ever heard from the KEFs, and they're around 50 yrs old. When I stood in front of the Sub hardly noticed the bass. But when I disconnected the Sub all the new bass out of the KEFs disappeared. It was coming from the Sub. I knew this should be expected but still amazed me.

This subwoofer is decently priced and has a nice low end. There is a low frequency control and gain and power. It sounds very good on songs with deep bass. You cant beat the price. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Perfect sound. I mostly 'set and forget' the crossover dial. The 100W class A/B low noise amp does the job. I barely need any volume to fill out the room. I use the RCA inputs. I use a 3.5mm male/splitter to connect it alongside a set of Bose desktop monitors. Pretty sweet. The body is bigger than I originally expected but it works in my room. This is a keeper.

This is my honest review from somewhat an audiophile and bass head *been having subs in my cars since I started driving* lol for movies this will definitely shake and vibrate your house and floors and sometimes you can feel it in your chest depending on the placement *I got mine in a corner which is recommended for heaviest bass* For music it is kind of lack luster, can easily hear the distortion kicking in on newer bass heavy songs especially rap/hip-hop and it honestly sounds terrible when the distortion hits, but that’s only if you turn it up enough, I find myself having to constantly turn it up or down depending on if I wanna listen to music or watch movies in my home with this sub, if you’re not really a bass head or a big speaker guy it definitely gets the job done but is it worth $400? To be honest no. you’re wayyy better off with the klipsch R-112SW going for $429 at the moment *not sold at Best Buy unfortunately* don’t go for the $600 R-121-SW-II sold at Best Buy because the $429 R-112SW hits harder, has more power output and also won Crutchfield’s 2023 top selling subwoofer for a reason. Just giving my advise because I’ve been looking for a good subwoofer on a budget and it’s not easy. I do like all the adjustments on the back of the subwoofer though is defined useful. Final conclusion: gets the job done and sounds good with movies when there isn’t distortion, but when there is distortion especially with music it’s definitely annoying and doesn’t sound pleasing at all. If I got this on sale for $299 or under it wouldn’t be too bad of a deal then. Hope this review helps others.
