I purchased these on sale for less than 500$ a pair! Got them hooked up and what a great set of speakers! I'm still breaking them in,but I love what I'm hearing.

The overall design and packaging is the best I have owned. The look of the unit goes well with our furniture. The sound is the best I have owned, and I have had Bose and other top speakers.

I was not able to demo these before purchasing. I had it narrowed down to these and Klipsch. I read until my eyes crossed and the one thing that came up over and over was the Klipsch are bright and harsh on the ears. I cannot verify this first hand but I will say I am more than thrilled with the Polk towers!! First impressions upon unpacking is that they are gorgeous. They look great with or without the grills. They have nice weight to them. I have 3 toddlers and I was afraid they would knock them over but they seem pretty stable. The magnetic grill lines itself up and just clicks into place with zero effort. I kept the jumpers in place and just had the 2 towers and my sub hooked up. I started playing around at lower to mid levels and said I want to hear what these sound like without the sub and went to turn the sub off......but it already was off!! I couldn’t believe the sound that these produce!! Don’t get me wrong, they weren’t shaking the walls but they have such a smooth deep sound and I still cannot believe that these are not in a much higher price range. The highs are so mello and not harsh for a second. When I get my new receiver I will have the option for bi wiring and will update then. If you are in question of should you purchase these, you don’t have to hesitate. Just. Do. It.

Great sounding speakers. Plenty of bass....perfect front speakers in a 5.1 system.

Sounds amazing! Added these to my system and not only do they look good, I now feel like I’m at a movie theater in my own living room.

Bought 2 of these on sale before Christmas at a great price. Placed 2 at front stage flanking 2 Polk PSW-108's Subwoofers, Polk S35 Center Channel, Polk S10's Height Channels, & Polk S50's L&R Rear Channels which are complimented by 2 Polk PSW-108's Subwoofers. What an amazing sound these speakers produce working in unison with one another (crisp, clear, & thunderous). Completely satisfied with my purchase. Thanks Bestbuy, keep up the good work!!!

I enjoy listening to these speakers more than the Polk Rti A7 I used to own. The buttery smooth sound that these speakers produce is pleasing to the ear. They also produce bass with ease and can be enjoyed with or without a subwoofer for music. Very surprising sound quality at this price point for these speakers. The A7s cost more and are commendable speakers but these are better when listening to music and outstanding for home theater too. They produce a big sound stage with ease paired with a Str dn1080.

These speakers are beautiful looking and sounding. Highs are clean and open and lows are tight and defined. They have a great soundstage as well. Would recommend these to anyone.

Purchased 2 of these to use as main speakers for our TV and Music listening, they rock! currently using them in a 3.1 setup for TV and movies, sound phenomenal! And use them for streaming music and setup in Straight mode on my receiver, equally as phenomenal. Can't go wrong with Polk speakers, great value and performance for your money!

I purchased this as part of a 5.1 system consisting of the two S55s, two S20s, and one s30 center channel, as well as a 12'' polk sub I already owned. So far they have not disappointed. This configuration is well balanced, with clear voices. I do recommend adding a sub if you buy. The bass is great as is, but the sub rounds out deeper tones and rumbles during action scenes. Music is clear and has that warmness Polk is known for. This is great for a mid level setup that won't break the bank while still holding the standard high for audio quality.

For the price you can't beat the sound quality. Recently upgraded to all Polk surround sound. Great bang for the buck.

I’m a huge Polk speaker fan due to the quality and customer service. If you purchase a pair you will become a Polk fan too! The bass is punchy even with the room expanding Denon 950. They have a very good High range and I can hear separation of all musical instruments with each song that’s played. Overall Imdo believe they were a great choice.

Polk audio has long been the standard in speakers and with good reason. The sleek look and superior sound that fills the room with clear highs and thumping bottom are just what the doctor ordered

I've been wanting to add some Polk speakers to my home theatre collection for a while, I am happy I made this choice. Polk's manual explains how to set up your receiver for the best performance. There is no distortion between the highs and lows, while watching 'Dredd' I was amazed at the clarity when the bass was rocking and the highs were coming through magically. I debated endlessly between the S60's/S55's/S50's. For the price, I am extremely happy with my choice. The 5-way dual posts are excellent and you can remove the covers for banana plugs. I've never installed the grills as the speakers are work of art that shouldn't be covered up.

Great sounding speakers and they look great too. I am glad and happy I bought these.
