This has been a fantastic case for my daughter's DSi XL. There aren't too many cases to fit the larger DSi and so I was thrilled when I found this one. It has storage for 6 games, the DSi, the large pen and a place for a spare small pen. The only downside of this case is that my daughter (6 years old) has trouble working the latch as you have to push down on it pretty hard. The upside of this is that it helps us control how much she plays on it since she can't open it herself. Excellent protection for the DSi. It's been dropped several times and no worries to the electronics inside. It's really nice having the games storage right there as well since both kids use it to store their games. Very convenient. Would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a hard case type storage and can stand the bit of extra bulk that the case adds.

Can't beat this case for the price. It keeps everything protected and has room for my games.

I bought this for my 7 year old, it has room for a few games and the system so that he take it with us and it will not get damage if/when dropped. It would have been ice if they could design it so that it can charge while in the case, or else you have to pull it out while charging.

The case offers great protection for travel and is very durable. However our 3DS XL has the clear protective case on there just to protect the graphics on the console and it will not fit inside the box with it on it.

This case is great. I was looking for a hard case and this fits perfectly. It even has slots to hold games, saving me having to buy another case for them. The case is a little large, but considering it is a hard case that was expected. Overall a very good option if you're in the market for a hard case for a 3DS XL.

Got this for my grandson for Christmas. He got the 3DS XL for Christmas, and this is a great way to protect it!! It also holds 5 games in the lid. Very handy!!

I bought this case for my daughter, It seemed to be sturdy and good for protecting her device. But it is very tricky to open. It is constantly getting stuck. So we no longer use it for her DS, afraid it would fly out when we struggled to get the darn thing open.. She just stores misc. items in it now. I would recommend buying a case that zips instead.

My son does ok at taking care of stuff, but this helps if it is dropped to protect the Nintendo ds. It has room for other games as well.

This is a great case that provides good protection. Size is a little tight on the new 3ds

Case is great! Cover is hard so I know it will protect my 3DS and it has slots for games which also helps when traveling.

used it as a christmas gift for my nephew.... good thing he can store all his games and protects if he drops it.

This case is perfect. It holds the console tightly and each game (it holds up to 6) fits snugly. The packaging said that it was good for the other DS versions as well - I'm not sure how well they would work with this. It seems that the compartment that holds the console fits perfectly with my son's 3DS XL, so I'm not sure if the other versions would fit as snugly as his does. With it holding up to 7 games (with one in the console), it's perfect for traveling.

I like the fact that the game with the games can be stored. However if your looking for protecting the game while its being handled and played, you should look for another case. This is to transport the systems safely. Not very effective for small hands while playing.

This case is a little bulky, but it has already saved the unit from a slight fall from the boy's hand. Need to create your own tab for easy removal on gaming unit. A piece of ribbon works well under the unit before you put it back into storage. So as to pull it back out when your ready to play again.

Other reviewers state that this doesn't fit the New 3DS, but you can use it - you just need to turn the console upside down before closing the case. It is actually tight for the original 3DS XL also. It is quite heavy and rugged.

This is a good case for the price. It protects the system well. I wish they would have made it a little larger to accommodate the charger.

I got the red version to match my son's new, red 3DS XL. The 3DS XL and 6 game cartridges fit inside safely and securely. This case is a definite must have for safely storing and transporting the 3DS XL. The case also has adapters to fit prior, smaller Nintendo units. My 7 year old son initially had problems pushing the release button to open the case. After repeated use, the case is easier to open, and the security has not been compromised.
