I got this amplifer to power two 12inch apline type rs which are rated 1200w rms together and 3600w max total. they sound great and are so loud it blurs your vision makes you sick dizzy and hard to breath( when it is only about half way up because my alternator puts out only 80 amps and the car takes some so im guessing only 60 amp are left for the amplifier to use and the fuse in the amplifier is 120 amps so you can do the math.) the power wattage of this amplifer is probaly alittle over rated in its wattage but i expected it would since it is not name brand like the subs. the amplifer is rated at 1700w rms at 2 ohms and my type rs are rated only 1200w together so the amplifeir is rated too strong compared to the subs but they sound fine and ive hooked them up at 1ohm before giving them 2200rms and they still sound good. so either the amplifer is over rated or the subs are under rated . im sure both are true. overall they match up really good and im happy i bought this amplifer.exspecially since i got it on sale for 175 or something around there.

BAMF 2600 review followed by BAMF4000:
"as an installer, I can recommend this amp with confidence given that it's connected properly and matches the specs of your subs.
I ran it HARD for about 3 years on two cvr124's that's 400 watts RMS each. With a strong car battery and alternator, I'm confident that you'll be able to hit loud clean lows just as you would on many more expensive amps. (match subwoofer rms to amp rms power and wire at correct impedance)
In addition, this has all the features power that many more expensive amps would have such as a subsonic filter, full range capability, thermal and under-volt protection, and a pass-through RCA setup.
The only reason the amp finally failed is a result of running it with the cover off because it had cracked. I was in the process of fabricating one out of lexan and a few days later I absent mindedly opened my trunk in the rain...you can guess what happened
I've just recently moved up to the bamf 4000 series (1100-1500 watts rms) and will post a review after running it for several months//so far so good"
I've had my BAMF4000 for a few weeks now and so far it's holding up great. I've metered it's rms wattage at 760 watts (running at 12.8 volts and metered with a constant 45hz tone). I feel if input voltage was upped, it may output 1000-1100 watts, but that can't be achieved without modifying my car a bit more extensively. It provides good clean bass even if wired at 1 ohm( not necessary of course).///will post further updates

I have 2 l7 kickers rated at 750 rms watts a piece. I had a rockford t1000bd with double remote bass knob but i blew it after 6 hours of use.
This amp has lots of power but not alot of sound quality, I like the fact that I dont have to worry about it blowing because its 1 ohm stable!
I am not crazy about this amp but it gets the job done!
overall I may look into a t2000bd rockford and re-wire my subs to 2 ohms just to get that great quality!!!
