Great Tag-team Fighting Game

As the developers have mentioned this game has nothing to do with the mobile version. This is a tag-team fighting game at it’s core and was developed with the help of known fighting game pros Clockwork and Justin Wong for example.
It’s similar to Marvel vs Capcom and Dragon Ball FighterZ in terms of gameplay.
It does support Crossplay between Switch, PC, and Xbox (very few fighting games do this). This is BIG as I rarely have difficulty finding matches online due to the larger player pool versus the PS4 version.
Gameplay controls are great for newcomers and pros. I like the approach taken with the control scheme. Non-fighting game players can get in on the fun and more experience players can make use of the more advanced combos/techniques.
It does support player invite. So you can play against your friends online.
Has a story mode and arcade mode as well as a basic tutorial.
My only gripe for the physical is that it is true that the Kimberly Skin and Drakkon V2 Skin are not on the disc as stated (contacted Nway and they are supposedly going to send those codes out)
All DLC is either for characters or skins. So there is no pay to win. This comes with Season One only. Wished it had Season Two on the cart. But I knew how many characters were available going in.
Overall, I do enjoy this game as a power ranger and fighting game fan. It has become my top played fighting game at the moment. With crossplay and player invite being the two biggest wins.

Very expensive character skins missing from cart

This game is a fun love-letter to Power Rangers that reminds me of Marvel vs Capcom with it's 3v3 fights.
However, this version is missing the advertised character skins for Kimberly Hart (the Pink Ranger) and Evo 2 Lord Drakkon. This is of particular note, since these skins cannot be downloaded individually thus requiring you to purchase and download the entire Collector's Edition digital bundle of the game to unlock them.
These skins ARE present on the physical PS4 version (though that version is also missing content in the form of an entire character, The Gold Zeo Ranger, who at least is present on Switch).

I was very excited for this game since they were taking a fun p2w mobile game and making it a console game. I hoped they'd remove the p2w aspects but they didn't. It's still bloated with DLC and additional payments. This box is supposed to include a lot of that but it won't matter. Even with the best characters the game is EXTREMELY UNFUN to play. The controls are rigid, characters are very limited and boring, the pick 3 and a megazord thing doesn't work out to improve gameplay at all. It's a really bad boring game of rock paper scissors. It's not even that it's overly simplistic it's poorly designed and implemented. I'm a huge lifelong Power Rangers fan. Skip this game.
