Customers appreciate the graphics and gameplay of WWE 2K15, frequently praising the realism and career mode. However, some found the controls challenging and the roster smaller than expected. Other criticisms included a perceived lack of features and match types compared to previous versions.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing WWE 2K15 and with the upcoming release of WWE 2K16 I figured I would share my thoughts on this previous version. 2K15 was a little too barebones but this is no different then what 2K did with NBA2K14, and so far NBA2K15 has stepped up as well as whats about to happen to NBA2K16. Early looks at WWE 2K16 says that 2K15 was a step in the right direction as 2K figures out how to add back feature from previous gen (PS3/XBOX360) and how to expand on and utilize this current gens hardware (PS4/XBOX1)... I would recommend 2K15 for those that just want a quick game to play or want to relive the Cena/Punk and HHH/HBK stories but with it being so close to the release of 2K16 in October I would not recommend getting additional DLC... if you don't have the game at this point and time and want more out of your wrestling game then wait til October for 2K16

WWE 2K15 is overall a great game, especially for the first wrestling game on a next-gen system. I have it for PS4, and it plays very well. The graphics are insanely realistic, I've never seen a wrestling game with characters and entrances that look so unbelievably similar to what you see on TV. Great game, worth the money.

It's a little difficult at first but once the gamer gets use to it then its the best WWE game that they have created.

The game looks amazing for starters. All the 2k story modes are fun and the real cut scenes they go to are great. The soundtrack is lacking as there are only a few songs that get catchy after listening a few times, but it all gets old soon. A ton of people you can use. The create a character is extensive and can be real time consuming if you want to really get detailed. One thing I don't like is some of the moves need to be updated. Overall if you like WWE then you will most likely enjoy this game. I give it a solid 4/5.

I will say that I recently started getting back into wrestling, WWE 2K14 was awesome, WWE 2K15 is good in a lot of ways. Especially the fact that the wrestlers have stamina now which makes the matches in the game more interesting than in the past. However, the lack of CAW features and match types and the fact there are 2 versions of several different wrestlers could have been replaced by passed wrestlers or even legends. It is a fun game if you're not trying to nit pick everything about this game, the story mode however is not that great, showcase mode is alright nothing amazing there. Online play is fun whenever you can actually get a match going, even though matchmaking in this game, and this is putting it lightly, is TERRIBLE. Let's just hope that 2K can do something with 2K16 this year. Also the graphics are amazing in this game. So IMO, Game play is fun since they added the stamina meter, graphics are awesome, and online play is really fun (when you can get a game going). Game is not worth full retail IMO, If I were to price range this, if this review is something that you would like, $30 would be worth the price of this game brand new $25 used. You would get your monies worth. Hopefully this review helped.

A Good Game that Everyone Says is Bad

Don't believe the hype, this game is not as bad as everyone claims it to be. Consider this game a reboot in the series. A start from the ground up. The foundation has been laid for something special in years to come. But you're not reading this to hear about what has yet to come...so let's get to it. Graphics are a stunning! The best jump I've ever noticed from an old-gen to next-gen console. The gameplay, while certainly slower, is by far more realistic and actually adds to the drama of the match. You literally feel like you are watching a WWE match! The sound is ok. Then again, I think commentary in general for whether it be sports titles or WWE games are often far too repetitive, but what the heck...we CONSTANTLY REPLAY THESE GAMES OVER AND OVER! So what's just ok...for one, the roster is a bit small but with some upcoming DLC on the way, we'll get an expansion of some legends and current superstars who didn't make the initial cut. Some people will also complain about the elimination of several game modes and match modes, this hasn't taken away from the game being enjoyable for me. So what's not good...My biggest pet peeve is the inconsistency of the WWE brand. This game is plastered with the new logo and attitude era logo everywhere. You're telling me 2K couldn't swap the attitude era logo for the new WWE logo? Another think that urks me is the WWE Heavyweight Title, again old logo, but what's worse is wrestlers come to the ring with it on their waste...soon as the ref gets ready to show the belt off prior to a tiltle match, all of the sudden the World Heavyweight Title and WWE title are raised and shown to the crowd...uhhhh where was the Heavyweight Title when the champ made his way down to the ring? So all in all, a good solid start out of the gate. Not a perfect game, but most certainly a fun game! If you are a true WWE fan, don't believe the hype, this game on PS4 is good! You'll play for hours and have a blast! Now it would just be nice if Best Buy would email me my Sting Preorder Code (4 days waiting, 1 call to BB and still no code!)

I expected very little of this game from all the reviews I've heard from it from IGN and other gaming sites but playing it myself, I am very pleased with this game. The game was hard at first but after a few matches, you get the hang of the fighting system and then the game is a piece of cake and very fun. I am very happy with the career mode where you start in NXT then move up to Superstars/Main Event then to Smackdown or Raw. I fully enjoy this game, don't knock it unless you try it. I'm playing this right now actually.

I really enjoyed this new entry in the WWE 2K series. The gameplay has changed quite a bit and will take some getting use to, but it presents a fun challenge for me because the opening grapple system can be tough and it gives you a real back and fourth match up, rather than the usual one sided match. The Showcase mode is fun but can be a little annoying with the number of in match cut scenes. MyCareer mode is awesome! If you play this game, first thing you should do is go into MyCareer because it's the perfect tutorial of the new mechanics. To be fair I purchased this for about $30 at Best Buy, and it's worth $30, but it's not worth $60. For $30 I really enjoy the game.

Disappointing that you have to unlock all the WWE Stars; I wish they were all available at original download. Fun game. Visuals are good. Good mix of old WWE and current.

WWE 2K15 shares some nice, smooth graphics much like its NBA 2k neighbor. I like the graphics, and gameplay very much. It's tough even on easy difficulty.

Great gameplay, different from old WWE games. Wish the Roster had more legends and the story were like the old smackdown vs raw games, then it would be a 5

This is the first time I've purchased a wrestling game. It was a deal of the day sale recently at BestBuy for $17, so I thought why not. Graphics are decent, but not quite what I was expecting for the PS4. Gameplay is very difficult for a new gamer to this line. Looks like it might provide some fun time for my son and I to play against each other, but if the game were more than $20, I wouldn't recommend it. For the price though, I'm fine recommending it.

I have been playing the wwe games for over ten years and I must say that this one is by far one of my favorites. The graphics are amazing and the game play is challenging and fun. I really love my career mode and wwe universe has some what improved. I could spend hours playing it.

The controls are a little different. My only complaint is that the grappling system is a little too slow and glitchy. And I wish that there was an alternate story mode, other than creating your own wrestler. I got this game on sale, and I'm glad that I did because I don't think this game is worth $59.99. Overall, great game though. Definitely recommend it to a wrestling fan. Fun to play with friends.

I really feel like this year was held back by developers making sure games ran on current and last gen systems and it shows on this game. Don't get me wrong it's by far the best and most fun year of wrestling thus far but it really doesn't feel like current gen.
