I like that it is small - like the old Nintendo controller that you use with the WiiU

This is a great controller and the battery lasts quite a while. Definitely enough to get through multiple play sessions. If you're used to an Xbox controller like me, than your hands will feel right at home, since it is very similar in feel, size and shape. But it is lighter, which doesn't really bother me. The only issue I had was the odd button placement where the B and A/X and Y were switched but I got used to it though and it works great.

Being able to move around the room without tripping on wires or wires that are too short to sit where you want makes it a perfect controller. Feels great in the hands, controls are easy to use and battery life is awesome. You will wonder why you didn't buy them sooner.

I prefer this to the gamepad

This is one of the best controllers I have ever used. I have used the Xbox 360 controller on my PC and a Dual Shock 3 for several games, but this one beats them all in terms of comfort. I have average sized hands and it fits perfectly. It is also light-weight compared to the Xbox controller and can easily be held with one hand comfortably if you want to be very lazy during travel sections of games. The battery life on this thing is unreal. I believe it says up to 80 hours, but it may very well be more. This is the only controller I have ever just set down when I'm done and never feared it being dead when I decide to play again days later. I now only use the gamepad when the game requires it for mechanics that use the screen or the gyro.

Perfect ergonomics and controls. Battery life is outstanding. Glossy finish in front leaves handprints though. But absolutely worth the money.

This controller is your number one tool when you are playing in the heat of battle. Unfortunately, not all games are compatible with it, and while many are, a few of those sacrifice a small amount of functionality versus the Gamepad. However, unlike the Gamepad, the battery lasts FOREVER. You will probably lose the included charging cable because you forgot where you left it, but it's OK, because any mini USB cable will do. The top of it is a little fingerprint prone, but a very minor complaint.

    A Solid Wii U Accessory

Durable, lightweight, days of battery life and a long usb cable for charging make this the pinnacle of controllers across any system, note I am just comparing to other systems you can only use this with the Wii U. The only thing that is a bit disappointing is how it is not overly useful for the system. because most games rely on the tablet controller for AR (augmented reality) features this controller can see a lack of use. I recommended two of the best games to use this controller with below.

This controller is lightweight, yet very sturdy and durable. The battery holds a charge for a very long time (I've had mine for about a month at the time of this review, and haven't had to recharge it yet). It's a very comfortable controller and has a nice d-pad that feels great for anyone playing retro games from the virtual console. I consider it a must have for all games that don't require the use of the wii-motes or the touch screen controller.

I almost didnt buy this, I am so glad I did! Everything about this controller is perfect. The size, button placement, even the texture and feel. My only gripe about the Wii U pro controller would be that not all games are able to use it. This isnt the controller fault I wouldnt say, but it is a bummer when you look forward to playing a game and find out it cant be used and you have to go grab that big gamepad :)

I'm always willing to give the cheaper option a chance but once again, the authentic Nintendo controller is worth the price. The Wii U Pro controller is comfortable, well designed, lightweight, and has excellent battery life. A friend of mine bought a generic brand and the difference is obvious. Nintendo also has a long history of well built reliable controllers and this one is no exception.

We have two of these controllers and they have a great feel to them with quite a long charge to them. I'd say about 15-20 hours worth of game play which is much appreciated. The controller seems to be mimicked after the Xbox 360 controller, arguably the most comfortable controller of modern gaming. So needless to say, this is quite a comfortable controller to play with.

This controller is great. I normally play on xbox, so I like the fact that it's about the same size/feel as the xbox controller. It helps when trying to play games that don't require the little touch pad to play them, and it's about the same price as the stupid nunchuk controller but gives you extra buttons to play a wider variety of games with.

This isn't a must have for anyone by any means. It is, however, something I'm very glad to have. Quality-wise. its battery life seems solid (It's lasted me through some pretty long Monster Hunter sessions) and it feels great in my hands. The Wii U gamepad can get cumbersome in long play sessions and a Wii-mote is a rather sad excuse for a standard controller. If you play games in any sizable quantity (and they aren't just ones that force you to use the other controller types) I would definitely suggest you pick one of these bad boys up.

Playing a game which needs a second or third player? Toss them this comfortable-in-your-hand remote and commence with great times. My wife and I play together often. She isn't a regular gamer, but she does enjoy using this controller over the many she's played with over the years.

Some of you may be attached to the gamecube controller like I was, and I still am, but I simply love the pro controller. It's super comfortable, easy to grip and play with. It's amazing 80 battery life is most impressive.

Sure it's fun playing the Wii U with the Wii U game pad, but for some games you just gotta have a pro controller. Doesn't make your hand hurt after long periods of time how some funkily shaped controllers sometimes can (boy does the controller cramps suck!)

Bought this controller with the 3d Mario World bundle. First one I bought didn't work - simply turned on and had one of the knobs permanently stuck in one direction (a common problem for controllers after extensive use). Took it back and explained the problem, got it replaced straightaway. Love it when things are this easy. Bravo Best Buy. The controller itself is great. It fits well into my hands and is super light weight. Feels sturdy enough to hurl through your TV or wall if you put some oomph into it, yet light enough that you don't have to worry about it breaking if you just drop it on the floor. Another plus is that it is rechargeable, so you don't have to put batteries in it constantly if you play a lot of games. The charge lasts a long time, but if it starts to run out of juice you just plug the USB charger it came with into the Wii and keep going.

Excellent battery life... D-pad feels great; very responsive. I just wish that the positions of the buttons and right analog stick would have swapped, similar to the Xbox controller. The current layout feels a little unnatural, but easy to adapt to.

Battery just keeps going. Only problem I have is when the battery does decide to need a charge, i have no clue where i put the cable. Otherwise great controller, not a fan of the gloss but that's just me being picky, it truly is a great controller.
