Love the Beatles theme, solid turntable, but is a little difficult to get adjustments (skew/tracking), etc optimized

The Pro-Ject turntable is an excellent addition to my stereo system. I haven't owned a turntable in years but this one plays the vinyl's well.

Very easy set up. Sounds amazing. Much wider band than the step down model. I would highly recommend this for a first time vinyl player.

This is a great quality turntable! The plater is very heavyweight acrylic and the motor is ac standalone for low noise with a dual belt drive unit for running 33 1/2 rpm or 45 rpm or on the next size drive wheel it turns 45 rpm and 78 rpm. The unit has a grounding bide and stereo rca inputs. The main add on Best Buy.com doesn't say anything about needing a phono stage pre amp to use with standard rca inputs for modern head units also bestbuy doesn't sell a preamp so I ended up buying one online from pro-ject direct so that needs addressing Best Buy. That's why I only gave it a 3 star rating due to lack of information and lack of matching products to use it

This is not an audiophile piece of equipment. This is a "I wish I could afford audiophile equipment". Sound from this thing is based on the system you are hooking up to. It does sound a lot better than Crosley ;)

For what you get in here which is the included acrylic platter and ortofon 2m red which would cost you $230 alone made me purchased this over the audio technica 120 lp ($299 chinese made copy of Technics SL1200) and over the denon 300f ($199). This thing Sounds amazing the quality is great, company based in austria, manufactured in czech and slovakia no hum at all very smooth and quiet. if you dont need built in amplifier (built in amps are no good) again if you dont need a direct drive, pitch control and plan to use it just for home listening I would recommend this turntable you just need a amplifier and speakers and you are set.
NOTE: make sure you provide amplifier with phono input.
cartridge is very easy to replace for future stylus maintenance.
Hope this helps

I *thought* my old table & cart were a good setup but boy was I wrong. This table with the supplied 2M Red beat it handily, but upgrading the stylus to a 2M Blue took it to a whole new level. Much bigger sound stage, more natural sound with a lower noise floor. I've done direct comparisons of CD vs Vinyl and vinyl wins handily each time. I was concerned about it being a full manual but the sound clearly benefits and I adding a Q Up to it basically turned it into a Semi-automatic. Extremely pleased!

Into vinyl? Pro-Ject Debut Esprit SB fits the bill

I'm one of thole old hippies returning to vinyl and trying to build up the library I had decades ago; it's a challenge but we are fortunate to have a better selection of turntables today than back in the day.
Pro-Ject has a good rep so when the email came announcing BB's limited edition items I jumped on this with no 2nd thoughts. I am not disappointed at all. Pro-Ject hit it out of the park with this model and its features at its price-point.
I see today the price is reduced to same as the regular model. I didn't buy this for collectability but because it is a very good turntable for the money. Being the Beatles-edition is a really cool freebie.

Pro-Ject makes some of the nicest turn tables around. This is a fine piece of audio for the beginner. The tonearm is very nice and the anti-skate weight makes it very sufisitcated. I own this and a $4K Pro-Ject. German made!!!
