Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the fun and engaging gameplay in Project X Zone 2, praising its enjoyable and addictive nature, while keeping a similar style to its predecessor. However, some find the storyline lacking in coherence and others feel the game is too easy. The turn-based strategy elements are also a point of discussion among players.

Very much like the 1st game with a few additions to mechanics. I only recommend if you like turn based strategy games, though it does mix an element of action during battle scenes. a very long game, will take at least 60 hours to finish.

Really fun game. Combat is improved from the first game. The plot is still nonsense, but it's worth a buy for the character interactions alone.

PXZ2 is an overall improvement over the first game. The enemies don't have as much HP, the turn order is now your whole team followed by the whole enemy team, you can now buy equipment and items, you get points to level up the attacks of each character or pair as well as buy abilities for them, there's now a difference between skill points for single units and the overall team, and the combo system has been changed to make it a bit harder to juggle enemies perfectly and get them locked in a cross attack. The plot remains overall silly and fun, and he game is still pretty easy overall although there is a hard mode to unlock like with the first game.

No need to play the first game to have fun with this second entry. Fun, ridiculous story, and team building sets that let you conquer the ai. We have first project x zone and cannot seem to put this new version down. Life on pause, to get to the end.

Combining all my favorite game characters I grew up with into a Strategy RPG, which is my favorite genre, really made me happy. I'm a big Yakuza series fan so the addition of Kiryu and Majima was extra special. It's a really unique and awesome experience in gaming if you have the time for it.

Not very far into the game yet but I will say that it so far much better than the first one, they have added a ton more characters, and I am actually liking the story so far, but it seems some people don't. If you enjoyed the first one, then i'm positive that you will enjoy this as well.

Lots of fun. If you played the first Project X Zone and enjoyed it, you'll like this one too. If you haven't played either and like tactical RPG games, you should buy the first one. I originally just picked it up because I like .hack haha... but it ended up being a great game!

This game is very fun to play...but don't look for an exciting story....its almost as if you are playing this only for the beautiful fighting scenes....not really that far into this game, but so far.....not into the story...at all....but great fighting scenes

Another fun SRPG for the 3DS. Project X Zone 2 continues the tradition of combining various characters from across several video game franchises in an action packed game with awesome visual effects.

Project X Zone 2 improves a lot upon the first one, and is very fun to play. It tells a funny story in between battles. A good pick up and play a mission or two a day when you have the time.

If you loved the first Project X Zone, you'll love this one, It's basically the same game, a lot of fan service, introducing new characters and keeps the same gameplay with minor tweaks.

Characters from 4 big gaming companies, youll never get boring of seeing them interacting all across the main story, pretty fun gameplay mechanics and beatiful sprite animations for the combos and supercombos. I will not give it 5 stars because for takimg on the classic strategy rpg game formula there is no really strategy needed for this one, which is no difficult by any means. Easy to beat

Very good, feels like a overhauled Project X Zone 1 which is what you want in a sequel. You get lot's of info about various characters from various games and get to see fun team dynamics. While the roster might be a little too big give some nice character development, it does lead to a lot of funny jokes here and there. It's on the easier side of turn based tactics rpg, but again, it's still fun.
