    Overall a nice helicopter

This one flies really well compared to the Skyline. It hovers easily, responds well to the controls, and flies really smooth. The range is pretty good. The detail on the heli is nice, and the lights are pretty cool. You can fly it at night with the built in LED lights. Some of the downsides of it are the construction. It seems a bit weak and doesn't stand up well to crash's like some others I have flown. I've had a couple of parts break pretty easily, and one motor froze after a mild crash landing. The battery doesn't last long, maybe 5 minutes. After about 30 flights the battery started to go bad. I did some research and found out that I should have followed some guidelines to break in and use the battery. Nothing in the manual says this. I would have rated this higher if parts were available from the manufacturer. They are impossible to get a hold of. They have a customer service email, and I sent 4 emails to them and they never replied. They have a couple of phone numbers listed, but if you call them they are automated systems telling you to send them an email. Whats the point in having a phone number if you aren't going to answer it, and no one can leave a message on it? I found parts from another manufacturer (actually the real manufacturer of this product), so I am able to keep it flying and working.

    Great Helicopter for a beginner

This is the first helicopter I've bought and it out-does all of my expectations. It has remarkable lift and stability. I've flown it outside and indoors and have had no issues. I've gotten more flight time per charge than listed and it has held up through multiple high altitude crashes (falling through trees, scaring my neighbors, landing on hard floors, etc.) When flying outdoors be sure there is no wind, when it climbs in altitude it'll find gusts and you'll lose control. Overall- GREAT HELICOPTER!

Bought it as a Christmas present, flew it 2 or 3 times, landed on it's nose in the grass and has not worked since. Since the person that it was bought for did not have the reciept Best Buy would not exchange it, so total waste of money and a very dissapointed 9 year old at Christmas

It’s a best toy for my kids, it flys great. It need some practice to be able to fly it. Battery holds good for a significant ride.

it was my first RF helicopter and I must say it was not the best option. It only lasted one flight and started to have problems with the helices and the charger. Do not waste your money on it

Having went through dozens of cheapo foamy 2 channel birds, I asked my wife for a 3 channel model, she saw this while standing in line at Best Buy and their impulse buy racks worked. I have now flown it through 10 cycles with no problems at all. Since it's heavier, yes it will fly differently than the lighter models as some have referenced, it's not a flaw, it's a matter of physics. That also means it hits the ground harder, but then again, RC choppers aren't meant to be flown high, I've dumped it multiple times from about 6 foot, no damage. Then again you have to know when to give up and let it auto rotate to a bouncy landing instead of recovering, most damage is going to occur when your running full throttle and hot something trying to recover. I spent the first few flights just getting used to basics, hovering turning etc, with each flight it gets easier and I'm able to do more, I'm actually surprised at how well it flys considering it's weight. The average 6-8 minute flight time advertised appears accurate, but my charge times are about an hour, nowhere near the 2 hours the manual says is needed. All in all, for what it cost, I'm certainly having fun with it. I did go ahead and order one of this companies smaller models just in case this one breaks and I needed to wait for parts, but it did come with a few spare blades etc so into the wild blue living room we fly!

Had this about a day, have flown it several times with no breakage. Except for the paint job this is the same model as an "Attop 919" which you can find a lot of replacement parts for online including battery, gears, even the receiver board. The specs for the attop says it takes about an hour to charge which is what I have found. Flies O.K. I have no real complaints about it. The complaints in some of the reviews are not really justified. If you expect something made of thin plastic that spins at a high rate speed to hit a wall or something and not break then your living in a dream world.

    Great Beginner Helicopter

My first flight lasted about 30 seconds ending with 2 wings shattered into 5 or 6 pieces. I scotched taped the wings neatly back together and reinforced both sides of the other wings with tape as well. The Helicopter works great, very easy to fly and now with scotch tape reinforced wings its a lot more durable. It takes a while to charge for only a few minutes of flight but definitely worth the wait. With practice it is very fun to fly.

Pretty fun flier but the battery does not last more than 6 minutes and needs a two hour recharge. I will be seeking an additional battery and charger. Would love to know the company that can supply spare parts.

All you need is practice. Flies better than I expected. Common sense and coordination will dictate how long it lasts. It looks alot more fragile than it realy is however. Spare parts are available from the manufacturer and the kit comes with alot of stuff for $10.00!

Great for beginners with a medium to large room/outdoors. It is not the best handling helicopter, but it is a 4 out of 5 once you get use to it. It does break easily so make sure to order the replacement parts from their website (Protocol's).

The helicopter looks cool and it is of substantial size, but the flight characteristics are terrible. Oh, IT"S LOUD! I had one of the TigerJet copters before this one and it was much more fun to fly...indoors, which is what I was looking for. This one will be returned.

If your an experienced indoor rc helicopter flyer this is a great model for you. The structure is weak and replacement parts are hard to find. I've flown this Helicopter for hours and it still fly's 100%. The battery life is around 20 minutes fully charged. I would rate this a 8/10 all around.

I crashed my helicoper shorty after I received it. Can NOT get replacement parts from Bestbuy. Found replacement parts online. Ordered them and never got them. What a JOKE!!! Would be nice if Bestbuy would sell spare parts for this product since there is a good chance of it suffering some type of damage. Very disapointed.

I got this for my son for Christmas. Christmas day went okay, no problems. The day after he was closing the antenna and the top snapped off, he wasn't being rough or handling the controller in any way that would dictate it's breaking. No problem right, he can still fly the helicopter. Wrong, on the 27th the copter had one flight, my son charged it again and she never flew more than 4 inches off the ground. These are poor made throw away helicopters that are not worth the money you pay for them.

Bought this and used several times, hit the wall, blades broke, ordered spare parts and put new blades in and the gears stripped. Get a SYMA or better go to Bannanna Hobby of x heli for a wider selection and better products.

I bought this for my two boys to play with. We went home and charged this unit. Flew it two times.......two. On the second flight, the helicopter went up and one of the propeller blades came flying off and the helicopter came down, crashing hard. Inspected the unit and the screw that holds the blade was missing. Took it back to the store and because it was "crashed" they would not take back or exchange. JUNK, JUNK, JUNK!!!
