Not a bad starter R/C helicopter

Not bad for a starter R/C helicopter. I'm surprised how durable it is, as the first few flights I had getting used to the controls, I crashed it multiple times into the ground and a wooden fence. I did fracture a little bit of the body cover, it has stood up to the crashes so far. I've gotten about 20 or so flights total in, and crashed most of them, but yet its still very much in tact and working great. So, it has my seal of approval for durability. Battery life isn't great, but other than that, it really is worth the money. So, for a intro into the R/C helicopter venue, this is the one I'd recommend. Hope this helps.

We bought this for my son for his 11th birthday. He loves it but is still having challenges perfecting the controls. It does bounce nicely though!! It is still flying fine after falling on the roof, getting stuck in a tree and hitting the bricks on the house. Probably a little too advanced for a beginner, but definitely a nice helicopter!

for the price it is quick, agile, responsive. it took a while to trim out the side to side motion because the controls weren't enough. I had to adjust it by hand but the instructions were very clear. overall I'd definetely recommend

I relied heavily on previous ratings to purchase the Predator. I am very happy with it. It is fun to fly, durable and works great. I have not had any major crashes (yet) but have landed pretty hard on grass with no issues. As stated by others, it needs to be wind free to experience controlled flight. Flight time is about 8 minutes, charge time 80 minutes. It would be nice if the battery was quickly removeable to just swap batteries once one lost its charge. I had a much smaller indoor helicopter previous to this one, so was surprised to see this one is double in size. You will need a big space to fly this indoors.

Fun Toy, Not for Beginners

I would recommend starting with a much smaller model before moving up to this big guy. If you've flown one before this is a pretty safe buy. If you expect to crash a few times start with a cheaper model. After just a minor run in with a tree the tail is slightly bent which of course throws the whole helicopter out of whack when you are trying to steer.

Helicopter is well constructed - actual metal framework ! Quick learning curve , the instructions could be a little more informative .
Only downside so far is the 80 minute charge time for 8-10 minutes of flight

I bought one for my 12yr old son. It's a little hard to try to get fine tuned in order to hover, but once you tune it, it flys really well. Just wish there is more battery power then 9 minutes. 12 year old waiting almost to 2 hours for full charge, and then only get 9 minutes of flight... But still, overall pretty satisfied.

I was eagerly anticipating flying this helicopter but first, I took it out if the box and it was nearly dead. Fine; I charged it. Then when I tried to fly it, all it did was spin. It seems very complicated and has too many buttons and levers. I did not return it because it didn't seem worth the effort.

My 10 year old son purchased this and is having a blast flying it. The only thing I would like to see would be a replacement battery so you could have one charging while you fly.

It responds quick the RC, easy to handle it but I would like the battery lasted more. It lasts about 6 minutes and the recharge takes more than 60 minutes. For Beginners it's ok.

Fun helicopter pretty simple to use didn't like the way the control felt a lot of plastic. Also pretty strong had a few hard landings and still all in one piece

A variety of control features to fine tune flight. Good looking unit and sturdy. Because of size, this should be used outside in calm weather!

I bought this for my "big kid" (husband). He kept saying he wanted one so I bought this for Christmas thinking if he enjoyed a small one that I will get a bigger one for him this summer. It's a good little chopper to start with and I expect he will get many hours of fun with it.

I bought this Helicopter about a month ago. I thought it was awesome. The only problem was and still is, is that I am too scared to fly it. It is sitting at my house fully charged and ready to go but has never seen a second of flight time. Maybe one day I will fly it but until then it will just sit. You should buy it.
