Bought this item because I wanted a little more Bass. Not knowing the brand Pyle was a little skeptical how ever price was good and the RMS ratings sounded good!!! At first the unit wasn't putting out much but I was using the Bluetooth stream and it does the unit no justice how ever I created a CD / DVD with MP3's at the highest quality and boy was I surprised how much bass it out out!!! I love it and would recommend it to any one!

Hi level inputs didn't work and had to buy the RCA converter. The sound is ok but not great. This is a fine subwoofer for low quality entry level but will disappoint the audiophile.

I have a 2013 Honda Accord with a Pioneer AVIC 8100NEX head unit. I wasn't looking for a thumping subwoofer that shakes the car next to me; just a boost to the lower end. I liked that I could mount it under the passenger seat and not take up room in my trunk. I was quite surprised at how good this thing really is. It has good clean bass (I use the Pioneer for crossover adjustment) and can easily provide more than enough thumping bass inside the car (but not make the mirrors shake on the car next to me). Even my 26 year old son, who has two 12 Subwoofers and amp in his car, was impressed with the sound as he played his bass heavy music to test it out (while I went inside the house, but could still hear it). I couldn't be happier with the Pyle Subwoofer and I would recommend it for anybody that wants low to upper-moderate subwoofer sound. It probably won't satisfy those looking to rattle surrounding cars, but for anybody else, it is a great buy.
