We setup & moved into the new program finding it easy to learn new features and improve our ability to watch our finances after retirement and track them for better decision making to stay debt-free while enjoying our new status and travel.

Needed to get organized so purchased this program. Was able to navigate basics, took some time to get it right but it’s very useful. Only thing is within a month was advised “newest & improviest” version (my words not there’s ;-))) was available.

This is the third or fourth copy of Quicken that I have had and like an old friend the similarities make it very easy to work with, If you haven''t tried a program to keep your accounts straight, this might be the one for you.

I had to buy the New Quicken because the older version was no longer working on my computer. I like the new version and I need to explore the program to update my financial status.

This is my 4th upgrade for Quicken. I like the program but this upgrade took away some common key strokes that made entries easier in past versions. Still a great account program!

Initially, it takes some time to get up, if you want information electronically downloaded from your credit cards and financial institutions. Then you need to teach it what the expenses are, and once it "learns" your transactions, its pretty much a now braininer

Overall the product is good. The new screen colors are all pale with not enough contrast for me. This may be adjustable, I haven't solved in deep enough to find out. Had some serious connection problems with Regions Bank, but I believe most of that was on Regions end as they had just upgraded their package and it had several bugs.

Have always used Quicken, but needed to upgrade. The new version is so easy, it sets itself up and incorporates everything from the old version. Super easy to use.

Like the updated app. No problems converting from older version. Some quirks but resolvable.

This is a great way for anyone to track there spending, base a budget off of, and have everything you need for the tax man!

This has really helped me get my finances organized and lined out. It has also put me on the right track to setting a budget and getting some of my debt paid off and getting my credit score going back in the positive direction.

Good basic accounting program for non-accountants.

Earlier this year, 3/3/2017, at my local Best Buy store, I had purchased a new HP notebook PC. It has an Intel I5 processor, 8gb of ram, 1 TB of hard drive space, a 17" display and Windows 10. This was a replacement for an older HP notebook pc that had and Intel I3 processor, 4gb of ram, 500gb of hard drive space, a 17 " display and Windows 7. On the older notebook pc I was using Quicken Deluxe 2016. Both the old pc itself and Quicken Deluxe 2016 were slowing down. And now the actual review of Quicken Deluxe 2017...I recently purchased Quicken Deluxe 2017 to install on my new Windows 10 notebook pc. The installation of Quicken Deluxe 2017 was fast and easy. Converting the data file from my previous version of Quicken to the new Quicken was fast and easy too. All you have to do is follow the included printed instructions included inside the Quicken box. Okay, so this new version of Quicken is fast, but, that could be because I am using it on a new notebook pc. It looks and acts a lot like the earlier version of Quicken, On the surface, there appear to be only cosmetic changes to its appearance. Quicken for a desktop pc or notebook pc is still the best software for monitoring your personal financial data. The companion app for a smartphone/tablet pc needs some work. I downloaded and tested the companion ipad app. I suppose if all you want to do is enter financial transactions at the store when they happen, it might be useful. But, if you are looking for the same functionality that Quicken for pc offers, you will not find it in the companion mobile app. Enough said about the mobile app. Bottom line: Is it worth getting Quicken Deluxe 2017? Well if you have never used Quicken and want to organize/monitor your finances by using a PC, then yes it is worth getting Quicken Deluxe 2017 and learning how to use it. Is it worth upgrading from an earlier version of Quicken? Yes, if you have upgraded your pc.

I have been using Quicken Deluxe for many years and I find it to be very useful, helpful and easy to use as financial management software. I have been updating this software every year even though there were no significant changes or improvements made. My disappointment has been that Intuit has been slow to accept recommendations of improvement I proposed over time. Now that the company has been bought out, time will tell what happens. Regardless I like the Quicken Deluxe software and would recommend it to anyone.

Have used this program for almost 30 years. Enjoyed its simplicity when I first worked with it. It has been continually upgraded and, for the most part, upgrades have been easily adopted and beneficial, but like all upgrades it has bells and whistles which one personally doesn't need. I'm quite certain that there are others who do, and they'll find it excellent. It is, however, quite easy to configure the system to one's own needs, and online and phone support is available.

Useful in tracking income and expenses via bank account and credit card downloads. But it is labor intensive if your accounts are not compatible and require manual input.

We have used Quicken Deluxe for several years as our household finance software. I have found it easy to use throughout several software release years. Quicken makes entry of checking and other account information relatively painless. An added benefit is the report-making and printing feature. You can save report formats, which makes it convenient to print the same report(s) monthly, quarterly, or annually. You can also setup a tax report, which makes annual tax data entry in their TurboTax software a lot easier. The investment download features allow secure download of financial information.

I have been using Quicken for a number of years and this is another fine produce. Being able to keep my accounts all in one place is what makes this a must have for me.

I have been using Quicken Deluxe for many years. It was easy to transition from an earlier version, Quicken Deluxe 2016, to this one. I am not planning to go to the new one. I usually do this about every two years. I update my Quicken data about every two weeks. I make sure that I do a backup when I am finished. I backup both on the computer and to a stick, putting the date with each. I don't use the Quicken online backup service.

I've stuck with Quicken through the years because I like to download my transactions to a central location, and I haven't found another product that does it better. That said, I'm so irritated that I have to re-purchase the product every other year or my downloads quit working! Even though I purchased a different version (Small Business) I still had to purchase the copy for home because the software isn't aware enough to easily work with two files and keep the data separate. Also, if anything goes wrong, you're pretty much on your own! The best support is through forums, where you count on other users who have pushed their way through issues. It's not ALL negative though, I do like how I can consolidate my financial view and see everything on one screen. And I have my transactions back to 1994. I'll keep using Quicken until I can find something that works as well with fewer headaches.
