My wife and I watched the movie last week and thought it was good, but it had something missing. It was kind of like watching Men in Black 2, except with undead instead of aliens. I would recommend this to a friend, but only if they had nothing else to do that night.

I have seen and heard good reviews about RIPD and had to buy it. I was pleased to see a different level of time-machine related movie with some great characters but the movie loses momentum towards the later half. But who knows, you might like it more than me.

This movie is one that you have to say to watch it through. There are several twist in it but the plot is easy to figure out what is going on. Wish the plot had a different twist than what they used but it is entertaining. It is a movie that I would watch again.

Good Movie. Bought the first week out, so the price was lower. I would recommend doing that with any movie. It saves you $ when you do, especially when you know you are going to buy it at some point. Why pay and extra $5 + for something when you don't have to

This was what I would call an OK movie. I might be annoyed if I had paid full retail on it but I didn't since it was on sale. There's enough here to keep me interested but there was some padding that would not be missed were it left out..

it is a fun and entertaining movie, but lacks and real depth to the story. it is cut outs of movie archetypes with depth-less 1 liners. But it still manages to be entertaining, i would recommend it for someone looking for a less thought evoking movie night.

I always wanted to get this movie, but did not want to pay the full price. So when i found it at a good price i bought it and loved every minute of it. I made a mistake and not buying this sooner. Well i hope they make a sequel for this fun movie.

I personally liked the movie, but my wife was less than thrilled. There is no real deep plot, some areas are pretty predictable, and there are slow points in this film, but there is also some humor as well. It reminds me of a movie like Men in Black.

I thought tgis movie was good overall. Not a movie that you can't wait to see. Plot was ok. I think it's a movie t I at doesn't take it to serious although it should have. I can't Go into details without spoiler alerts. Just watch it for yourself.

You mostly get the plot from the trailer, and as a comedy, there are not really any surprises. The movie does not have a deep plot but is good for a laugh and has a few quotable lines. Spoiler alert, but not really, Kevin Bacon is the bad guy.

I read the comics 10+ years ago. I don't remember them word for word, but I do remember enjoying them. This movie was an excellent blend of action and comedy. If you're into sci-fi, or the dead, I would definitely recommend watching it.

We've seen RI.P.D, twice both in hd, and then 3D, must say a great movie to watch in 3D. In many way it's like Men in Black, People arent what they seems to be, only instead of monster from outer space, it's the dead, pretending to be alive unless they get a hold of a spice then they turn into all kinds of dead like creatures, humans degrading. I'm hoping they make a 2nd one. Jeff Bridges is great in this as a cowboy cop from the gold rush , but his image that people see if a cop that should be a model. The 3D just makes it more fun. It's a great movie for teens to adults. Mild language

This is a guilty pleasure. It is not a great, or even an especially good film, but I still really enjoy it. The acting is good, the special effects acceptable. The thing I like most is the concept of undead cops monitoring supernatural activity on Earth. Really enjoyed Kevin Bacon and Jeff Bridges. Ryan Reynolds is...well, every other Ryan Reynolds character. That's not a complaint since I enjoy the actor in everything he does, he just doesn't really add much to the film. A fun film worth a watch if you like the concept, otherwise it won't be something you would probably enjoy.

An interesting movie. Not the greatest but for the right price, it's a good way to pass some time. Ryan Reynolds makes it worth it.

The film is more enjoyable than what I've heard from the critics. It's computer generated graphics seem a few years older than the movie really is but it's a fun movie not meant to be serious.

This movie really got dumped on when it was released, and I am certainly not saying it is perfect or entirely original, but I found myself enjoying it enough that I purchased it for repeated viewings.

If you are looking for character development or plot depth, this is not the movie for you. If you like a different spin on reluctant hero saves the world and a dash of FX thrown in, you like RIPD.

A great cop show that turns so strange that I woke me from a preprepared snooze on the couch. I wasn't told the title or allowed to see anything before the very begining of the film. It looked just like a regular cop show. Then, <SPOILER!> Yup! Big surprises in ways I could never have guessed. It was so strange that it is bound to make a place for itself in the Hall of Cult Classics. It's been a while now and many of those who have seen it, are still quoting lines from it. "Be the Better Man"

This movie is enjoyable without a four letter word every two minutes. Older kids can watch and enjoy without their parents worrying. Some scenes may not be appropriate for kids under eight.

Great cast. Jeff Bridges, Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon. Story effects make this a movie worth watching.
