This sprinkler system brain is phenomenal. It does exactly as it describes. Install and wiring were super simple. My only gripe is that you can't input 2 types of sprinkler heads per zone when setting the system up. I have 1 zone that half of it is drip irrigation, and it would be nice if the system recognized that. It would probably increase the length of watering for that particular zone. That's the only reason it doesn't have five stars; in fact if It would let me I would give It 5.5 stars This system will save you water with the intelligent weather skips.

This is a very good product. It was easy to install, and right after installing the Rachio the water cycle recommendation for my yard, will allow me to start saving right away on my water bill. The app is very helpful and having the power to monitor and control my sprinkler unit from anywhere is awesome...

I had been looking for a wifi enabled irrigation controller for some time so I could monitor and control my lawn watering, as well as to upgrade from the old Watermaster irrigation controller that was in the house before we bought it. The replacement to the Rachio 8 zone controller was very easy, including the wiring and setup in the app. Using the app I can easily turn on and off any of my 6 zones, as well as set up custom watering schedules. When the schedule starts and stops, I get a notification. It also tracks weather for the set zip code, and knew not to water at 6am a couple weeks back when the temperature was close to 32 degrees. I bought a second unit for our Florida home along with a separate rain sensor that should connect very easily. Highly recommended.

I've had mine for over a month now and it was easy to use, setup pretty easy, and good at using the rain forecast predictions to determine when to turn your irrigation off to save water.

The 2nd Generation Rachio is an excellent addition to any home, but especially a home that love automation. The installation was easy and the setup within the app was well guided and got me running in minutes. There are plenty of deep lawn options that if someone really knows the details about their lawn and soil they could create a very detailed, automated watering plan. I love the weather look ahead. Better than a rain sensor because it's proactive rather than reactive. Integration with Wink is awesome and this product has really saved me time and water!

I couldn't be any happier with my purchase of the Rachio smart sprinkler controller. The setup was fairly easy. I made sure that I wrote down all the settings from the old controller before ripping it out. Once the setup was done, it took me some time to fully understand the app. You have to play around a bit to get a hang of the various program profiles. Now the entire system works like a charm. I also got the rachio linked to my nest thermostat. It's a supposed to turn off the sprinklers in case of a fire.

I got this in an effort to make my home more efficient and utilize "smart" accessories for my home. The unit was very easy to install and the app setup was very user friendly. I was able to quickly setup my zones and adjust for the slope, sprinkler type, and plants in my zone. I hope to see some water savings, but even if I don't I really like the control that this gives me over my irrigation.

My old, dumb sprinkler controller died, and I figured for a little more than a new, dumb controller I could get the Rachio smart controller. I'm really happy with this product. Easy to setup. I don't have to think about whether the yard needs water or if a watering should be skipped. I would definitely recommend!

This product is not only convenient, but it is also easy to use. Being able to adjust the functionality with my phone is great from anywhere.

Unlike most internet of things tech, this smart sprinkler just works and it works well! The iPhone app has a great design and is easy to use. You can easily have this installed and configured in minutes. It also has many settings to get as granular as you want. Plus no monthly subscription fees. Highly recommended

Easy to install and replace my previous sprinkler controller. so far it has saved me from running sprinkler June 18 until July 11, 2017, due to forecast of rain.I do not even bother with trying to configure the sprinkler to follow the city allowed 2 days per week(Tues and Friday) schedule.

Make sure you tell it every detail of your zones. If you do not, it could grossly overwater. You will know more about your yard then ever before if you set it up correctly. Now that it is fine tuned, my yard is greener than before and I am clearly using less water. My old controller was hard to setup skip days based on city rules, this made it easy. The estimates on how much water you use are all based on what you give it for information, so don't take them as gospel. My neighbor liked mine so much, he purchased one as well.

Very easy to install and download with very explicit instructions. Some challenges fall more on the sprinkler than the system. You are able to program each zone according to its landscape. SO far i am very happy with my sprinkler system.

The water savings and top-notch control are great. The ability to input all details of your yard is really neat as well and something I will be researching more. It really is a great controller that can't be beat.

As the internet of things continues to expand in our lives I feel obliged to argue this is an absolute must. I took advantage of the water efficiency program in my Area and actually was reimbursed for the price of the unit. I would have bought it anyway though, as this is a very cool controller. Swapping out my old controller was very easy and the unit connected to my wifi effortlessly. The app lets you add pictures of your zones for reference and is very intuitive. It tracks water usage (estimated) and shows when you last watered. It even works with your Amazon Echo. Just ask Alexa to water zone X. I love this thing. If you don't have it yet, what are you waiting for? Oh... and it's made in America!

I love my new water controller. It not only adjusts the amount of water used depending on the weather but I can do everything from the App. And best of all my water company had a rebate making this FREE!!!

Finally a controller that works flawlessly with my setup. The water for my lawn irrigation system is supplied by a 1.5 hp 220v pump. With my previous controller, it would take multiple attempts before the pump would actually turn on, and there was a long delay before it went on and off. With my Rachio, traction time for on/off is nearly instant. As far as the software, it takes into account so many types of conditions in your lawn to determine the ideal watering schedule. Since I installed my new Rachio, it actually only watered my lawn 4 times and breaks up the major zones watering on separate days, something I never considered when thinking of saving water. Overall I'm very satisfied with my new Rachio.
