Want a refund camera dosent hom up well wifi it distorted and stops I the middle of recording dosent record long

Could not get the camera to hold a connection for more than a few seconds. Returned for a refund.

Works great with my Rand McNally! Really Clear and Wireless!

Camera supply cord was too short for my application terrible description disappointed.

After purchasing I found out from the installer at the geek squad that it doesn't work without have a complete rand system

Kept scanning for camera and never connected. Threw it in the trash.

Really cheap product the small pin connectors are so small and fragile that if you are not really careful which I was you will end up braking these small pins off.

Cliff Notes: Easy install, good pucture quality but can sometimes lag 5 - 10 seconds when turned on, short wiring harness for larger vehicles and there is NO extention cable available by manufacturer, Must be on docking station AND plugged into a 12V power source, transmitter MUST be installed in an area where environment will not get to it (it's not weatherproof). Easy to install and picture is good for a wireless camera. The major draw back is the Rand McNally screen MUST be on the docking station AND it MUST be plugged into the 12V power source. I had it on the docking station but didn't have it plugged into a 12V source. I had the auto-camera select so the image should have been displayed when the truck went into reverse. That never happened and I had to manually set the screen to wireless camera. I called their support number and they stated it must be plugged in to a 12V source while on the docking station. Also the main wiring harness to the transmitter is extremely short for larger vehicles (SUV, Truck). When I asked the support person how to remedy the shortness of the length, they stated the company DOES NOT have any longer harnesses and they DO NOT make any kind of extender for the harness. Also the camera image can lag a bit. Sometimes it takes anywhere between 5 -10 seconds for the image to appear on the screen.

It worked great! ONCE. Can't get it to connect to its app anymore. Booooooo.

Would not work with stereo i purchased. Technician said it wound only work with Rand McNally products.

Laggy horrible quality not good as a back up cam at all.

I have a dodge 2500 truck. Install is simple when you connect it to your reverse light which was great! Bad news is that the camera is only recognized by the tablet like 1 out of every 10 tries. Does not matter how close or far to the transmitter the tablet is. I updated the software to the latest version, moved he transmitter everywhere that it would reach and put the antenna in every position that it would bend with no better results. I even exchanged the whole system for a new one! The camera cable is too short to mount the receiver in a dry location and the tablet is plastic and poor quality. Who tests this stuff? Or do the even test it? Returning it tomorrow. Really bad product.

Spent all day at Best Buy getting it installed. Ran into a problem when the 3' cord wont reach from license plate to front of my of my f-250 . And the receiver has to be mounted inside. Still looking for extension ,and help desk at rand McNally says I need to go to third party to get the extension. And they can't tell me which extension I need. Hopefully we will get it figured out

I wanted a backup camera for my '99 Corvette but didn't want to deal with the added expense of getting a Double-DIN head unit to work as the screen. I found this surprisingly affordable backup camera unit and installed it and it works great. I hard wired it to switched 12v (NOT the reverse lights); I wanted it active as soon as the car was on because I didn't want to wait for it to initialize when the backup lights went on. I also installed a Wi-Fi prioritizer app to prioritize the Rand McNally network because if I'm out front of my house it wants to connect to my home network sometimes. When I know I want to see behind me backing up I just hit the app shortcut on my homescreen; it starts the app and asks me if I want to enable Wi-FI (I leave it off most of the time). Within seconds the backup camera is active. WELL worth the price I paid for it.

I am using this for my 2008 Odyssey.It works good with my android tablet. Only problem is that if you open the app and then if you put reverse gear,it take more time or even keep loading for camera.So I used to put my car in reverse and then turn the app from the tablet which will turn camera sooner.

Didn't work two weeks. Tried to get replacement. I installed so Best Buy wouldn't touch it. But they don't stock in the store anyway. I was going to buy a new one and return the defective one. I guess I have order another. Great service Best Buy.

Bad product the pins broke on the cable and you can not buy a replacement cable the company does not sale any. what type of company makes a product that you can not get replacement parts, HELLO!
