Picked this up before stock disappeared and prices rose. Using it for a classic game emulation with Emulation Station and various modules like MAME and others. Works with USB input boards and HDMI to DVI cables to old monitors perfectly fine.

Poor packaging, looked like a blindfolded caveman packaged it in the dark while feeling an extreme amount of pressure from his boss.

Bought this to try for the first time and for it's size it's a power house for mini computers. Running retropie on a arcade build.

I got this one to make a retropie setup, but then I started messing with the idea of having all my networks unwanted ads sucked away using pi-hole. This is just the tip of the iceberg. There's so many things you can do with these raspberry pis, it's delightful. And while this isn't the newest one available, it does have a full-size HDMI port so you don't have to worry about adapters to get it up and running. FYI, it does require a separate power adapter for those that don't know. Getting a few cheap heat sinks isn't a bad idea either, as the pi will slow itself down if it gets too hot. Retropie does get it hot, so a tiny fan in a case is a good idea. Pi-hole barely does anything to this, so a fan-less setup works just fine.

Easy to set up, even in 'headless' mode without a monitor, keyboard, or mouse (using SSH and VNC from a Mac or Linux machine over a wifi network). To get you started a lot of useful information is available at the official Raspberry Pi website and elsewhere on the internet. I didn't need the desktop-level processing power of the Pi 4, but I found that this Pi 3 B+ actually can be used for light web browsing and for some Python software development. I am getting by with an iPad power block and a micro-USB cable, but the Pi complains about low voltage (though it seems to run fine). I will probably buy an official power supply eventually.

Amazing little Raspberry Pi thingy! Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ features a quicker 1.4-GHz quad-core processor, faster 802.11ac Wi-Fi and gets a Gigabit Ethernet connection with power over Ethernet capability. Best of all, it also sells for $35 on its own but is easily found as part of kits that include power cables, cases and other add-ons. With a faster processor and better networking than its predecessor, the Raspberry Pi 3 is so much more than a $35 computer if you're pretty good and know what it can do.

This little unit is great. It works as expected and there's been no trouble with it. The power supply I had to purchase elsewhere as I couldn't find one on Best Buy's site (??), and I chose to get a 3Amp one rather than the standard 2.5A. It powers a keyboard, mouse and 1Tb external drive just fine on its own, no low power issues. As a bonus, the oem remote to my Samsung tv (also purchased at Best Buy years ago) works with the RPi for navigation! No hoops to jump through, it simply worked.

I set up this Raspberry PI to use as a hotspot (multimode digital voice modem) for accessing digital communicationsDigital with my HAM radio transceiver. The raspberry pi has worked flawlessly. If you're amateur radio enthusiast and are into digital communications, and want to build your own hotspot, this item is perfect.

The raspberry pi is one of my favorite toys. Bought 5 for various projects, and they arrived quicker than I expected (I think 2 days...maybe 3). So far, I've only built on 2 of them, but they work as expected and I'm happy with everything. Thanks Best Buy!

This is a great little computer for hobbyists. It doesn't have a lot of memory so it's not really a multitasking setup. For projects it should be sufficient. I am using it as a retro gaming computer and it works really well!

While the Raspberry Pi 4 is all the rage, the Pi3b+ is still a very powerful single board computer and has better compatibility for now. Will handle most applications that are asked of it and the jack of all trades usefulness means you can reuse it for anything you see fit by simply swapping Micro SD cards.

While the outer packaging (shipping box) was excellent, inner packaging was a bit dented. However, the pi operates excellent. Price was also reasonable compared to Amazon.
