The headphone are absolutely amazing. They don’t slide off your face you can hear extremely clear without anything in your ear and they are sleek and cool

The glasses are great they actually look like fashionable sunglasses. Looks I give it a 10 out of 10. The camera is also great, taking way better pictures and video than expected. They only sound ok, which is completely understandable with how skinny the earpieces are. They just lack some base, but they are way skinner then the competitors. My only complaint about these are the software, I have had constant problems with the view app. It doesn't recognize the glasses sometimes and Meta/ Facebooks voice software is lacking. Like I said in the title the glasses are great but the software side needs improvement at the time of me writing this.

I've had these for 2 days but here's my initial thoughts. Going to start with what I don't like first. 1. The charging case cannot be easily replaced if you lose it. I contacted Ray-Ban directly and they said you simply you cannot buy a new one but you can put a claim in. Not sure what good a claim will do since it's not broken but basically if you lose the case you have a basic set of Ray-Bans. 2. If you are used to listening to quality headphones (eg Bose, Sennheiser, etc.) you are going to think these are absolutely horrible. The bass is practically non-existent. The Bose frames sound significantly better and louder. If you are looking to listen to something to surround and immerse you in music, these are not it but it is also not it's purpose. If you are at a beach or swim club and want to listen to something without losing the ability to hear your kids and what's happening around you, these are fine. 3. There is only one pair that is available with polarized lenses. If you don't like blue then you are stuck with regular lenses. If you swap the lenses, you instantly void Ray-Ban's warranty. 4. The camera is only 5 megapixels. The picture and video quality is great for what they are but I really wish it had a better lens in there. 5. Battery life appears to be meh. I did a 45 minute walk with my dog, listening to music and taking a couple of pictures/videos along the way. By the time we got back it was 80%. Make sure you keep your charging case with you on longer outings. 6. These have no water resistance rating, so don't go in the water with them. OK, despite these negatives I still give the Ray-Ban Stories 5 stars and here's why: 1. These are perfect for travel or if you have little kids. Rather than having to dig out your phone, put on the camera app and set everything up, you just press a button on one of the arms or use a voice command and you're done. Much less missing the moments. Now the memory is limited in the glasses but downloading them to the phone is simple via Bluetooth. 2. Despite the 5 MP camera, these take really good video and stills. They're designed to be shared in social media, not to be cropped, zoomed in, etc. They're meant to be as you are seeing them. Also keep in mind they record the direction you are facing, not what at your eyes are looking at. 3. On an iPhone all of the pictures and videos can automatically transfer over to your Photos app. I'd imagine it's the same on Android and Google Photos. 4. They look just like regular Ray-Bans despite the slight thickness increase. Unless people know what the cameras are they are not going to notice anything. And with the Matte Black the camera lenses really blend in nicely. 5. There are a lot of scenarios where these can come in handy and being able to record a 1 minute video completely hands free can be helpful. Travel. Kids. Witnessing an incident. Rides. Sports. There's a lot of possibilities. That being said they're sunglasses, so you may look a bit odd if you wear them at night. 6. The microphones are excellent. Great at capturing sound when recording video or if you are on a phone call. I got the Ray-Ban stories as an early Father's Day gift. My wife thought the idea/concept was rather idiotic. After using them she now wants a pair for her birthday. A friend of the family also now wants a pair. Are these worth the MSRP? That is debatable. I was able to fortunately get these on a 20% off sale so at that price point yes these are with it. Would I use them as every day sunglasses? You can but for me I prefer polarized lenses so for now I'd probably limit these for travel and when going out with friends and family. Although there is voice commands in the glasses it is extremely limited. Hopefully one day they'll be able to incorporate Google Assistant or Siri so you can do more (eg, call up music). So to summarize despite some of it's flaws and weaknesses this is a great niche product especially when traveling.

Great sunglasses, unimpressive speakers vs Bose

They are great sunglasses and take cool pictures but when compared to the Bose frames the sound falls short. I also didnt care for the deep integration of Facebook into the product. It forces you to funnel all your media through Facebook. The Bose Frames work much more seamlessly with your phone. While they both use an app to setup tge device the Bose frames are much easier to setup and use. Also the Bose Frames sound a lot better, they are louder and much clearer. Bose does not capture photo or video though so there is that. For my purposes the Bose frames work much better…i am not a fan of the deep Facebook integration on the Ray Bans but i do love how they look and feel and the ability to take photos/videos is kind of cool.

The quality is amazing like any Ray Ban glasses. Design is sleek. Cameras need a lot of light to get good photos and I have had a lot of success with outdoor photos. Indoor and low light photos are not good and I think this product was not designed for such purpose. Audio quality is a good but not great. The battery life times lack compared to some other products but what makes up for it is how this the sides of the glasses are. These products look like glasses and not like audio devices.

Coming from Snapchat spectacles, I was excited to see if this had improvements to the camera quality, and in short it does! While when it is on it does pretty well, the battery life is fairly middling since due to the audio it is constantly on, so you might go to take a picture halfway through the day and realize it died an hour ago. The audio is super tinny so I wouldn't use it for anything more than a phone call. My biggest frustration is that it seemed to have a mind of its own when it wanted to boot up, it took taking it in and out of its charger case to make it boot. If you are wanting a good pair of wearable glasses and dont care about the other frills, just get a pair of 2nd gen snapchat spectacles.

These glasses are great for hands free pictures / videos. I was on the fence about purchasing these until I had scheduled a beach vacation this year. I purchased these with the intent on not having to take my phone to the beach to take pictures of the kids while they were playing in the water. For this purpose, these glasses exceeded my expectations. I was able to wear these glasses everywhere I went while on vacation, which resulted in 100x more pictures / videos than I would normally take. I took pictures of my children while chest deep in the water (maybe a little bit questionable for fear of the glasses getting wet). The pictures / videos turned out incredible. I even wore these while parasailing to take a video / pictures from way up in the sky. I also used these to take videos of myself driving around, just to remember the experience of driving in another country for later. The speakers on these were also incredibly convenient when I used the feature. I usually listened to music on relatively low volume to not distract from hearing things around me, and to not disturb the people around me. My wife said she couldn't even hear the music most of the time, but I could hear it just fine. After returning from vacation, I have also used these while dirtbiking and bicycling, which are also very convenient / hands free. Pro: Convenience in carrying a camera on your face. Convenience of carrying a headphones on your head. No cell phone photo opportunities for places you cannot have your phone / need use of both of your hands. Con: Not polarized (I know I could have purchased the more expensive polarized, but at this pricepoint, shouldn't they all be?) Video length only 60 seconds max (default 30 seconds max). I wish this could be bumped a bit longer as attempts to record some events were cutoff and I had to restart the recording. Quality is that of a smartphone at least 5 years ago. Voice recognition worked sometimes. Can't hear audio in loud environments. Pinched my head after a few hours of wearing.

The glasses work well, camera is great. It's a little easy to accidentally hit the button but you get used to it. Bone conduction speakers would be better but I think it might make them more uncomfortable at the same time. My only gripe is battery life and the sheer size of the case. I understand there is only so much space so it's an OK compromise between runtime and size but the case is just excessive. Give me a case that has a single recharge and fits in my pocket.
