Customers appreciate the high-quality build, vibrant RGB lighting, and comfortable wrist rest of the BlackWidow V4 Pro keyboard. Many also praise the responsive key feel and extensive customization options, including programmable keys and lighting effects. However, some find the price point to be high and the software can be problematic. A few users also noted that the keyboard's size and switch type may not suit everyone's preferences.

Overall: This keyboard has a really solid construction and the key switches feel nice. I opted for the green switches and they are my favorite switches out of any Razer keyboards I have used in the past. The green switches in conjunction with the Razer's signature RGB lighting makes this full-size keyboard a very premium keyboard.
Pros: This keyboard has a really solid build. It doesn't feel cheap at all and has weight to it. The carbon fiber looking wrist rest takes this keyboard to a whole 'nother level. Usually, I would skip out on using the wrist rest because it would move around a lot because on other keyboards it isn't physically attached to the keyboard, but this wrist rest is magnetically connected and stays in place very well. It also is synced to the keyboard and has it's own RGB lighting. There are eight mappable macro keys to assign to whatever function you desire. All the keyboard customization (lighting, macros, etc.) is done through Razer's software called Razer Synapse, which is downloaded when you plug in the keyboard. You have three buttons on the left side of the keyboard and five actual macro keys on the left side of the keyboard, underneath the dial. I use these keys for opening up programs and it really comes in handy. Razer also included a command dial that has multiple different functions. Pressing in on the dial changes the function. For example, you can press it to change it to zoom in and out, and then press it again to have a track scrubber. This feature is really handy. There are also media control keys for play/pause, next track, previous track, and mute which is always a welcomed addition to a keyboard. Right above those keys is a volume roller to control volume and the scrolling of it feels really nice and satisfying.
Cons: This keyboard isn't for everyone. It is a full-size, meaning it includes the numeric keypad. For me, I don't mind it. But for people who play a lot of competitive games, a TKL is mainly what those people stick to. There is no TKL version of the Blackwidow V4 Pro yet, but hopefully soon. Also, this keyboard is very expensive. At $229 you'd expect a really good, premium keyboard, and that is what you're getting, but majority of people wouldn't want to dish out $229 for a keyboard.

I'll admit that stuff like the RGB and macro keys aren't must haves, but they are nice. I spent a good 30 mins with several different keyboards each in the store and coming from a Corsair K55, the keys on the BlackWidow v4 felt the closest to what I was used to. I almost got a Logitech G815 but I wasn't a fan of the low profile key caps.
The price was a bit steep. Personally, I wouldn't say this is worth the full price of $229 (at the time), but luckily I got it on sale during Black Friday month for around $200 after tax. Unless you're willing to pay the Razer tax of course.
All in all, solid keyboard. The only issue I really have is I've seen the lighting go haywire sometimes. I'm not sure if I'm fat fingering something or the Razer synapse software is doodoo.

I have been a Razer customer for a while. I have a couple of their keyboards, so I know what I am talking about when I write about them. I have a Black Widow V3 Full Sized and a Bluetooth version (I like keyboards).
Pros
Lots of functionality with Macros
USB C
Detachable cables
USB Passthrough
Bright Chroma RGB
Green switch
Razer Synapse ease of use.
Cons
Out the box some keys get stuck, and I have to basically use a little bit of PC cleaning solution to fix it.
The Macro buttons might take a little getting used to, you might press on them a bit in the beginning while typing.
Razer Synapse, if it fails or this is an issue you have to reinstall and hope it works.
Value
Overall
I brought this keyboard to add more Macro capabilities to myself. I like it a lot but the stuck keys right out of the box is a hassle. Had this happen with a wireless Blackwidow V3 also. It happens a lot with Razer Keyboards while other keyboards out the box never need this.

This is the keyboard you need! I found my purchase to be everytbing and more than i had expected. It had that tactical click that is soothing to the ear and the RGB lights are gorgeous. The overall feel of the keyboard is well built and has a very sleek design to it. On further inspection the key features with the side buttons along with the media wheel is an exceptional feature that havent found on other keyboards alike. I highly suggest to anyone getting more into streaming and want a full keyboard and a little extra, this is the one!

This keyboard has such any amazing feel. Whether you are a gamer or someone who is looking for something for work this keyboard comes with the features needed, has eight macro keys that can you edit to fit your needs!! Did I mention it’s really aesthetically pleasing to the eye!! The lighting is just so unique from all other keyboards I’ve ever seen. This keyboard has 8hz and it’s absolutely quick for those scores you want.

I was suprised to find a full comfortable keyboard instead of this 60% 70% gimmick sold by "influencers". Your hand rests easily and comfortably because of the wrist wrest extension. Fingers are allowed to rest stretched out instead of in tight quarters with the 60%. Being a full keyboard the key spacing allows for less fatigue while playing and typing. I feel like orthopedic doctors got together to push 60% keyboards to have more clients for carpel tunnel surgery. But your choice i for one will never buy a shorter keyboard with keys closer together.

A little pricy but worth the money. I have had 3 gaming keyboards in the past, but this one is the best by far. The keys feel great, the clicks sound good, it has a comfortable wrist rest and the macro keys are a pleasant bonus. On top of all that it looks premium and has an under glow.

This is by far the best keyboard I’ve bought. The keys are very responsive and the wrist pad is amazing. The additional buttons really make my PC experience that much better. It is a little pricey but I really feel like I’ve gotten my money’s worth.

I brought this keyboard home, plugged it in and the RGB lighting hit me like a warm embrace from the heavens. The mechanical keys are as responsive as a T-1000 tracking John Connor. My wife walked in when I was using Razer chroma to adjust the lighting and immediately upon seeing its glory, was with child. Not to oversell the product, but it will probably change your life.

I personally have ALWAYS been a fan of Razer and all their products. I stand by them and what they make 100%.
The only reason why I gave this keyboard 4 stars is because of the extra macro keys which feel unnecessary, they tend to get in the way more often than not for me especially being a proper keyboard hand placement type of person. My fingers tend to get confused with having an extra 5 macro keys on the far left side of the keyboard. I kind of wished they had place them at the top of the keyboard or found a better placement for them.
If you are like me then it takes some time to adjust to. I have almost completely gotten used to them and feel more comfortable now than earlier.
The key presses/clicks are very loud but then again it is a mechanical keyboard. It is very responsive when typing, even the lightest key press will end up typing out.
The other problem I have with this keyboard is the extreme sensitivity to the key presses, it feels like sometimes I will press "K" for example and it will end up double typing that single letter or number, especially when using the number pad key on the far right side.
Otherwise its a fantastic keyboard and would still recommend regardless of the two negative opinions of mine I have left above.
*P.S. - Ignore my dusty and dirty mousepad, I have animals lol. They always tread on it and make it dirtier.

I was on the search for a perfect gaming/office keyboard. I couldn't have chosen a better keyboard. Razor Synapse gives me full customization of the Razor Chroma lights, and even lets me customize what each button can do. The armrest is a huge add-on, even detachable. I can even control my music with the extra 4 buttons and 1 roller on the top right of the keyboard. 100% recommend this keyboard.
