Finally all my rgb through synapse

Finally I have full control over all my rgb parts from a single application, Razer Synapse. This controller has up to six slots that can be controlled individually. Keep in mind that if you are using daisy chained components, the rgb is all controlled through one channel. In my case, my 9 lian li fans are all hooked in through one channel, which exceeds the max number of LEDs per channel (80 max). It can control led strips and fans. It doesn’t always detect them correctly automatically, but it’s easily switched. Regardless, it works great. One rgb system for my mb, ram, 9 fans, 2 lian li 24 pin strips, and my lian li razer case. I used to think razer was just gimmicky, but they definitely make quality products that are useful. I also have 2 razer keyboards, headset and dock, speakers, and basilisk mouse with dock that are also controlled via synapse. Only $40 too. This thing is a steal.

I have all RGB Razer peripherals. Keyboard, Mouse, Mouse Pad, Deskpad, Nommo Chroma speakers and headphones. This lets me sync the inside of my case with the outside, including a standard RGB strip behind my desk. Everything is controlled through Razer synapse and each LED connected to the hub is configurable as long as your rgb device uses standard 3 pin headers. My RGB ram and cooler I can't specify each LED but that's because it uses the Chroma Connect through software integration and not the hub. Deducting 1 star because it's powered through MOLEX and not SATA.

    Razer Chroma Addressable RGB Controller

Purchased this for my wife's Computer. Works well for syncing up arbg lights to her other Razer peripherals . Taking 1 star off because you can only use 1 controller per computer. I purchased two and after working with Razer Support found you can only have 1. After getting a few argb splitters and wiring multiple fans to the same port on the controller it does work you just lose the ability to control the rgb individually on each fan.

Only gripe I have is Razer made the input ports for the 6 ARGB head connects awfully narrow. Broke one of my ARGB fan header trying to remove it from the Chroma ARGB Controller. Had to use nail clippers to chip away the rubber lining of the ARGB headers to fit in properly but I'm impressed altogether!

Works great with my deepcool a-rgb led strip, corsair hydro X cpu block and pump/reservoir combo, and lian li ST120 fans. The synapse 3 software lets you control every individual LED and detects them via the software. Really useful if you don't have any 5v rgb ports on your motherboard or if you don't have enough for all the devices you want to control.

I purchased this because my motherboard doesnt support 5v argb and since i already have razer peripherals it was an easy decision. It uses the STANDARD 3 pin plug on most argb fans and accessories sold on the market. NOTES (Images) -Razer ARGB controller is not shown in images -ram uses a software plug in to controll asis aura -HyperX mouse is not controlled by razer synapse

The pics included show what is connected to this device. A pic of the device doesn't warrant what it does. Works great and the Synapse program gives so many options for for different lighting settings which are also downloadable on the web as well.

I have an Asus Prime X370 Pro mainboard (AMD based system.) It has only one 4 pin 12v RGB header. (I didn't have or use a lot of lighting.) I recently did a CPU, cooler and fan update - to ARGB 3 pin 5v fans, with a fairly blah little push-button controller. Since there's no conversion, my options were to use the pushbutton (not very flexible, kind of annoying since it's in the case,) leave the fans dark (eh) or pick up a controller. I was already using the Razer software for a keyboard and mouse (and, honestly, for someone who wasn't really caring about lighting before, an LED keyboard with decent, app-aware software is ... actually useful for more than just 'ooh, pretty lights,') I went with the Razer controller. The controller is the size of an SSD, and can be mounted to an SSD mount from the bottom (not, obviously, the sides.) If that doesn't work, it does come with double sided tape which I found more irritating than useful, since this has a rubberized bottom (likely to avoid noise from any vibration) which doesn't stick to tape all that well. It connects to an open USB header and to Molex power. (SATA would be preferrable, here, or at least the choice of SATA.) I am using some Inwin fans (Sirius Loop, which have just a lit ring versus the whole fan - I didn't want something with more light,) and the connectors don't feel all that secure after connecting. I half expect the fans to disconnect with a good jostle. Granted, other connectors may be larger, and electrically this works as it should, but finding a way to secure those connections would be nice. The software did not initially pick up the device. I verified I'd updated all the way, and that it should see the controller. I couldn't say what finally made it appear - it didn't appear that the software downloaded or updated anything between the controller not being there and being there. Once it picked it up, it took a minute or two to figure out the which fan was which in the software. The software guesses at how many LEDs are in the fans (with many presets.) I just guessed, honestly - it's not documented on Inwin's site, and that's not Razer's fault. I can't pick *exactly* where the top or bottom of the fan is (I have to kind of work at an angle, and Razer lets you adjust by 90 degrees,) which would be a nice update to the software. Other than that, once it's set up, it works. My only complaints, really, as mentioned - a SATA power option would be nice, as well as some way to secure connectors that aren't filling the ports on the sides.

We all know how difficult getting RGB set up can be. This controller is probably one of the best rgb controllers out there that can make any rgb setup integrate with the Razor ecosystem easily. PRO's -Seamless RGB connection -EKWB devices have no problems connecting including front RGB distro plates -Feels quality made Con's -Molex Power connector (why not sata?) -The rgb ports are very loose when you get everything connected, I literally had to create a zip tie system to force hold everything into place. Else once you close your case, it loses connection. (I'd take off a half star for this if it could) Observations: -When configuring this device inside of the Razer software you need to know how many LED's that port is going to be using to correctly light all the LED's on the device thats connected to said port. -Maximum number of supported LEDs per port is 99 at this time. -Razer software immediately found device and updated it as expected

If you're a razer fan then you'll absolutely love this addressable rgb controller. This controller has 6 headers that are the typical 3pin 5v headers and it obviously syncs with synapse 3 immediately! Also, it's compatible with a wide range of brands. You can either hook up led strips to the controller or just the rgbs from most fans. The controller will automatically detect how many leds are in each strip or fan as well as detecting the difference between an led strip or an rgb fan. Well worth the $39!

I purchased this to integrate all of my ARGB fans and ARGB led strip into Razer SYnapse to sync with my Keyboard and mouse lights. Works perfectly for that purpose and connects to both the fans and LED strip. It is easy to setup once the Razer Synapse app recognizes it and installs the software. You can define the number of LEDs on each device and setup them up with a 90 degree setup so the RGB strips function properly. I have MSI fans and an off brand ARGB strip and they function properly. Can mount to SSD mounts.

The unit does what it says it will do. But there is a few issues. The ports for the argb plugs, are either loose or tight. I have 3 devices currently installed, one is loose and the other 2 i has to trim some plastic off the controller. Also it uses a molex connector. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MOLEX PLUG! I had to dig one out of a box for my modular PSU to make it work. Even then the prongs of the plug were very loose, you have to align them good before fully pushing it in, our you will break something. Other than that it works. Using SignalRGB instead of the Razer or Asus software. I recommend the product, as long as you have steady hands and careful when enlarging the holes. Test fit plugs first!

The beauty of this device is that you don't have to use any specific fan or RGB light strip. The only thing that is necessary is for the device to be aRGB (5v or 3 pin connector). I have 5 aRGB fans, front panel RGB, a CPU cooler and my Razer keyboard and mouse all synced up using the Razer software. It makes it all super easy to create a unified theme for my computer. I have another system with all corsair stuff but it probably cost 5x as much money for the same effect.

Needed a way to control my RGB devices separately and this controller was just what I needed. Works great. The only issue I had was the ports are very tight. Maybe it’s because Argb plugs are loose as it is. So having it tight keeps it from falling out.

Super easy to install with the directions. Love the control it gives over my lighting. Price was fair and quality seems good. Downside, there’s no real good ways to mount it in the case. Maybe if it came with some magnet strips or something.
