This is not my first DeathAdder from Razer, however, I had an older version that was heavily used for over 2 years. There was nothing major wrong with that one besides the glue on a panel after 2 years of heavy use. This new one continues exceptional quality and performance. The sensor is very precise with great adjustments from the software. If you're an RGB fan, this is greatly adjustable with colors and effects. The shape is comfortable and lends itself to long amounts of comfortable use. It is wired so no battery issues, and the sensor is quick and precise. If you have not known why these mice are more money or what features you want, the high DPI, lightweight and comfortable mouse is highly recommended.

Works great for my use. Not full of unneeded buttons, reacts quickly as necessary for the online games that I play. No need for more advanced features for my gaming use, so why pay for them if not needed? Accurate and quick response.

I used to do a lot of online gaming, and I needed a good mouse for the task. For close to nine years I used the Razer Death Adder. When it finally cashed in I stepped up to this one, the Razer Death Adder Elite. It has a good feel, large enough for my big hand, smooth screen movement and great response time. My only complaint is with the Razer Synapse software needed to control many of the features of the mouse, specifically the lighting features. I never use them and don't care for them, but the Synapse program is a headache. Every time I log in I need to restart Synapse in order to disable the lighting because it seems to 'forget' that I want it kept off. It's a continual battle that I'm willing to overlook because, other than that, I love this mouse. My old mouse had the lighting, too, but was easily controlled with the software that came with it. Synapse, which was downloaded from the Razer website, is very buggy. This is the only thing stopping this from being a 5-star product.

I bought my first DeathAdder about 10 years ago and have gone through a couple of other mice in the past year or two. I keep hoping that I'll find a great wireless mouse that works both for office and game use, but I keep finding that I'm wrong.
The DeathAdder has a horrible name, but the mouse is so comfortable, I just keep coming back to it. I would hope that the scroll wheel was a little bit faster, but it's worked well enough for office purposes. For gaming purposes, of course, there is a reason why Razer has made these mice for so long. They just work great. They are very responsive and last me forever. I've found that the DeathAdder works well on both fabric and metal mouse pads. I highly recommend the DeathAdder!

This is my second Razer mouse and a newer version. My other one the scroll broke. This one feels nicer, easier to maneuver and great handling. Purchased a warranty as a safety net as my other one only last 2 1/2 years. Of course I used it for heavy gaming so I got my money's worth. These are great for gaming. I highly recommend.

I think that Razer really knows what it is doing when it comes to mice. This mouse is no exception. I have a larger hand and it really seems to fit me quite well. Has one of the best track records for mice that I have had in terms of survival time between replacements and I'm a heavy daily user of my computer.

Coming from primarily an Apple dominated ecosystem, this is my first "good" mouse i am buying for my Windows gaming system. First impression: "Wow! I cannot believe I have been suffering using a small, uncomfortable Magic Mouse 2". This mouse is accurate, COMFORTABLE, the batteries wont die and at a sale price of $23 is really a no brainer. I highly recommend this mouse. That being said, I did not install the Razer software 1. because i do not care what color the logo glows underneath my palm (lol), and 2. i could not justify a 350MB download for MOUSE SOFTWARE!.....

I previously owned the Razer Deathadder Black which, at first, lead me to not wanting another one and wanting to try something new. But due to no stock on other mice at my local Best Buy, I was pretty much forced to buy this new version of the Deathadder which wasn't as bad as I first thought it would be. The Deathadder Elite has way better tracking than the Deathadder Black, as well as a more satisfying click for all the buttons the mouse has to offer. The lighting is also a nice touch with the scroll wheel and base of the mouse being aluminated which looks very nice since it also RGB, meaning you can set it to any color you could think of. My only complaint about the mouse are the rubber grips on the side. If you hands aren't clean and you have some oil on it, you'll have a hard time trying to grip on it will feel very slippery to use. So far, great mouse.

I use a razer naga 2012 edition I have had for many years. Just built a new desktop and wanted something rgb to match it. Went to bestbuy to look at the mice on display. Figured I would stick with razer since my last one has been so good to me and to match my huntsman elite keyboard. I liked this one a lot better then the other two they had on display even though this one was actually the cheaper one. It's not a mouse with all the features like wireless or a lot of extra buttons. But for the price it is definitely a nice mouse. I use this one and still use my naga depending on which game or task I am using/playing

This is a great mouse for a great price. Very comfortable, well built, glides smooth, and very accurate. The color changing is pretty darn cool as well, especially when gaming with the lights off!

I'm not very big on buying "gaming" mouse because I think they're a bit overpriced.
However, I picked up this one because it was on sale and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Let me tell you, I was totally wrong. This is a great mouse, very light, and it just feels right. Love that I can change the light color to match my keyboard.
So would I recommend this mouse? Absolutely if you dont mind a wired mouse. It feels great, you can change up the speed of the point with the Razer app. It's overall great.

The mouse I received had mushy clicks and were too light for my taste. BB employee confirmed they were much lighter than normal. I've been told they are even more tactile than Chroma, which I still have. Swapped the elite out for a Logitech mouse...
Side buttons are a great size and in the perfect position. Mouse is light but doesn't feel cheaply made. Fills up your hand nicely. I never used the DPI buttons and prefer the simpler look of the Chroma, but that's personal preference. Based on my Chroma, this mouse is one of the best values you'll find.

Purchased not so much for gaming as for regular use. Very comfortable and precise. For the minimal gaming that I do, had no trouble. Connected to my Mac with no issues. The Synapse software was a free download, and the color options are a fun diversion.

Works great! Very responsive and tracks well. Very light and has a natural feel in the hand. Has the right amount of grip texture where needed. I like the hotkeys on top to adjust sensitivity and use it often. I play most games at 400dpi but prefer to surf the web and work at 1,200dpi. The Razer Synapse app works well and the RGB is subtle. Overall it is a great buy. Especially with the new version out and the price drastically reduced.
